I finally finished my game. You can find it here : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/$20251
It was interesting, my first own game is done. I hope you'll enjoy it !
Thanks for the event :D
And I'm asking for help, because I can't figure it out in this mental state. I posted about it here: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/1344984/linerendered-raycast-not-matching-over-distance.html
What's going on? Why are my lines and rays not matching up?
(or at least save the link somewhere so you can play and rate it once judging starts)
My game "Planet Q" is finished and uploaded at this link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/planet-q Please enjoy and if you play it, don't forget to come back after judging starts to give a rating! I worked really hard (and by really hard I mean kinda hard) on this project and am hoping to get as positive a response as my previous games, although I feel like this game may have fallen a bit short. It is fun (according to my amazing play testers: my parents  ) but I feel like it might be just a little bit all over the place. I didn't organize my ideas thoroughly enough so I ended up making the world first, then trying to figure out a genre, then actually building the dialogue and puzzles, and then the end of the game. I didn't really decide on the tone of my game until near the end, so it might seem a little off. Tell me what you think, though. I enjoyed making it no matter how it turned out, and I think the controls are certainly more approvable than those of my first two games (and maybe the one previous to this). Kinda sad that it's over, as usual. To be honest, I could do game jams every weekend and not get tired of it for at least a couple months.
Published WOOOOOOO!!!
So tired!
Hi guys!! Here is Asterorush, a mashup between PONG and GRAVITATIONAL ATTRACTION. Play as a planet, and try to score by using gravitational pull in order to send an asteroid in the opposite camp!

You can play it with a friend or alone against our super AI! We'll try to update it ASAP!! Now zzzzz!!
Congrats to everyone!
PLAY IT NOW ( -> you can check controls on OUR PAGE)
So excited!

the game is almost ready
My Ludum Dare 38 submission is ready to play! Check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/micro-versus
I was only able to spend about 24 hours on it over the last couple of days. Despite the time constraints I'm pretty happy with how it turned out -- although it is a very short game and it would have been nice to create more levels, types of enemies, and that sort of stuff to flesh it out more. Hopefully I'll have less going on during the next one.
Phew! Finally saying I'm done. It's been my first LD and I've had so much fun (even if I wasn't able to put in my 100%, god damn exams) I achieved more than I ever imagined though and had a load of fun learning the Pico-8 engine, which I highly recommend to new game developers.
Check out my LD game page and play it over on the Pico-8 site

Well this certainly was an experience! Made a fun little runner game!
Smiley's big adventure!

I finished it last night, and posted Last night. Was my first jam ever, hope you guys like it. But I'm new to the site so I think this is how to get it to show on the main page. How do I get pictures to show?
Got a WebGL version up now, picture uploader isn't working for me sadly.

Superbugs is a puzzle game, set in the small world of microscopic viruses. It's simple to play - drag and drop coloured drugs onto a grid of cells to treat the viruses. Some viruses are tougher than others and need a combination of two drugs, but be careful not to expose any cell to all three drugs!

Check the game out at ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/$16885 - there's a web version, along with downloads for Windows, MacOS and Linux. This is our first attempt at a game jam, so we'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions :-)
Just finished off my first Ludum Dare and had a heap of fun and learned a lot. Didn't quite make it to what I wanted the game to be but I'm happy that I got it this far and to a state which it could be considered done.

It's a puzzle game where you must nurture a planet into life by adding elements from astroids which you can either crash into the planet or fling them away.

Well, here goes, this is my first LD! Making a game this quickly is pretty tough, turns out. Having to cut a lot of corners to make sure I have something playable ready in 2 hours.
(Ouch, it's midnight.) I've got my awesome american/canadian friends to continue to add levels to WRAP right up until the deadline in two hours, so you may want to wait until that time to play/judge it, but whatever.
The game is on Github: https://github.com/coolandgood/game
Anyone is welcome to suggest changes, give feedback, etc. Hell, make a level using Tiled if you want!
I am finally done (well not done, so much more could be done...) but, it is time to submit the game to your judgement ^^
~~how do I into knowing how to link to the game~~ ah, here it is:
- Game entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/$17502
- Play on itch.io: https://littledaimon.itch.io/shepherdsaga
This time he did not give, but he left good fruit. Exaggerated, but I learned a lot in those last 72 hours of Ludum Dare. I still have confidence that this week I can do some things and make a playable version available. New deadline: Friday on https://woodlion.itch.io/
