I'm in!
This weekend is busy, but I'm excited to join in another Ludum Dare! My last one was Tiny World theme and I made TinyConquest.
I'll be using Monkey for code, Gimp for images, and sfxr for sound!

We are a small team with one developer (me), one tester/ideas kid (11 years), and one talented musician.
We are using our new game engine based on PIXI, so it'll most likely be a 2d HTML5/WebGL game
https://github.com/bushmango/Speedy-Snail-Game-Engine
Basically it's a menu, build setup, and basic sound / tilemap / music / input setup so we can focus on building a game. Feel free to use it if you want to code directly against PIXI using Typescript!
Our main tools are VSCode, Typescript, Webpack, PIXI.js, Howler.js, Tiled tilemap editor, BFXR, Aesprite pixel editor, some misc audio processing tools.
We are excite!
This is my first Ludum Dare game jam ever! I have never participated in one before but I am very excited!
My first jam ever!
Are we able to publish the game before the publishing time slot? I wont be able to stay up that late to publish it =(
Can't wait for Ludum Dare 40! I'll unfortunately have to start late because I have to go to a game for band, and I won't be getting back till about 11 PM. Thankfully the stadium we're playing at is just down the road, and I've got a sufficient amount of energy drinks to get by. Let's go!
Tools I'll be using:
I will try to compete for my first time.
I want to improve but idk if I will be able to finish the game in-time. Anyway I am so HYPED for Ludum dare 40! 10 HOURS HYPE!
This is our (@hkay and @klon160) second Ludum Dare (and second Game Jam) and we are very exited! Last time went a lot better than we expected, so hopefully this time will be no different!
Some tools we are going to use:
Good luck to everyone!
I'm going to try the compo for the first time...
I'll be using Java, LibGDX, GIMP, FL Studio, probably.
I've been wondering. My current username does not appeal to me anymore.
I’m in for my 5th LD in a row, and I can’t wait! One of my suggested themes finally got past the slaughter, and got into the final round! Into the Unknown. :)
I hope everyone does well and I wish everyone good luck!
This will be our very First LD jam! Teaming up with my friends @minhazabtahi & @shahidulsobuj.
Some of the tools we will most likely be using…
I've joined once again, this is my 5th ludum dare. :D
One of my friends will be helping with graphics, most likely. c:
I'm gonna sleep. Everything is prepared. Mentally ready.

I'm a Professor (for Computer Graphics, Web Development, Game Design and other stuff) at the TH Nürnberg in Germany, also called Georg-Simon-Ohm Hochschule.
Last time I joined Ludum Dare (LD34) I did a game on my own - Birds of Borg; this time three students of mine and me will work as a team - Team OHM! We'll be doing this at the PixelManiacs headquarters - thanks again to Ben for the invitation!
It'll be a whole lot more fun doing something together :stuckouttonguewinkingeye:!
This will be the first time i'm joining the ludum dare game jam. I'm really excited to see what i can manage in the 48 hours.
Tools that i will be using:
Unity
Blender/MagicaVoxel
Photoshop/Aseprite
BoscaCoil/Bfxr
This is probably my 3rd Ludum Dare that I've been able to truly participate in. My last 2 entries did mediocre with 1 entry being in the top 100 for audio (I know a great audio guy http://amplitudeproblem.com/).
I am using an older PC I built from the ground up - AMD FX 8350 - 16GB ram - ATI Radeon 5850
As for streaming I am using the following equipment - Logitech HD Pro c920 - Corsair Void Pro RGB wireless
Additional supplies include: - Pens/Pencils - Paper - GFUEL!!!
For my development stack I will most likely be using libgdx and node.js (if a server component is valuable). - Libgdx - Notepad++ - Visual Studio 2017 (for node.js) - Gimp - Bfxr (sound effects)
I have been programming for many years, but sadly very little release to show for it. I completed a few prior Ludum Dare jams, but never went on to polish those into a releasable product.
I have released a game on the Google Play Store (A&R Monster Truck Derby) that is simple and great for young children.
In the latest 280 blog post titles, there are:
50x "first"
83x "I'm in"
26x "Ludum dare"
I could do more than 280, but Iam kinda lazy :D
If you want more data, write into the comments!
Hey everyone. This is my 4th LD. I was always doing it alone but now i feel like it would be nice to be part of a team. Im experienced in Unity/C#, and little bit of Blender (models, rigs, anims, just basic stuff). Right now we are 2 programmers so we are looking for some artists. Our discord: https://discord.gg/uFWGE2
