This is my first time taking part in a game jam. I am really looking forward to it
Let's make this last December count :)
Hey! I'll join Ludum Dare for my first time ever just to get some xp, sadly I must use my old computer as mine is broken. After all said, I'll be using:
I'll be more active than ever on Twitter this weekend and I'll stream on Twitch while I'm working on my game. As I'm brazilian, I speak in Portuguese, but feel free to talk to me in English if you want! 😄✨
Good luck, everyone!
I'm in for a solo attempt! I've rather lost track of how many LDs I've done, but there have been a few more failures than successes. Not this time!
I'm a programmer by training, but I've been practicing some simple art recently, so hopefully I can make a game that I like the looks of!
the last time was awesome and this time i hope it turns out the be as good as the last.
good luck everybody.
I am LITERALY counting down the seconds on the timer I am so excited! I am gonna have a challenge as I'm a tad bit sick so balancing my sore throat, and the thrill of making a, hopefully, enjoyable game at the same time, while working in a team is going to be very, very interesting.
EXCITEMENT!
Was it OKAY that I created a new game on the website or no? Am I supposed to wait until LD43 starts???
so, we're doing this again! :D love all the great comments last time! I might stream our progress midway,so if anyone is interested, I will be doing that on YouTube! I will post updates and stuffs on my discord, so if you're interested in that, here's that https://discord.gg/d6bjdU6 Wish everyone else the best of luck! Peace out!
~CE TEAM
Couple of teams jamming along @invativa in Östersund! Gonna be amazeballs! One team doing a Jam the other are probably doing Compos. But we´ll see about that tomorrow.
Good luck to all! :v:

For my first game jam i'll be using:
I wish all participants good luck and lots of fun
I'm in and just wanted to post that if you are near Longmont CO we get together at a maker space for the Ludum Dare. Here's the meetup if you are nearby and interested: https://www.meetup.com/LongmontHackerSpace/events/256255469/?gj=ro2e&rv=ro2e&xtd=gatlbWFpbF9jbGlja9oAJDc1MmQxZDI1LWUwMWYtNGVhMC1iNjg3LWU5NTg1YjZhNzI3OA&af=event&afeid=256255469
I am in a team for the game jam, does this change anything rules-wise?
It's our first time in such team and on this jam! :D
We are 5 folks and we will be as: * 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/3 programmers * 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/3 artists * 1/4 musicans * 1 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/3 level designers
We'll be using: * Engine: Unity * Artwork: Piskel & Krita * Music: FL Studio
Good luck everyone and have fun!
I really enjoyed creating our game, RGBot last LDJam! I am equally, if not more excited this time around to try to create something interesting. Ben won't be joining me this time around, so it will be my first solo LDJam. I will probably use Phaser 3 this time around, just like last time.
Good luck everyone!

Hey i'm back after ld 41, hope to make a good jam this time.
This will be my 4th LD, and my 6th jam and I'm really excited!
As usual, I'm going solo, and these are my tools:
Take a look at my other games in Ludum Dare: - LD 38: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/the-microns - LD 41: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/confessional - LD 42: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/become-a-monster
Good job guys!
I don't know what tool I'll be using. I might use my normal Flash tools I've used previously (http://ludumdare.com/compo/2017/04/21/announcing-code-base-for-ld38-flixel-project-template-publicly-available-for-ludum-dare-use/#hidepopup is the link, please let me know if you can't find something). Or, I might use Tabletop Simulator and a combination of other things and actually try a board game / card game for a change.
Or, I might go completely nuts and try to learn a new tool. Yes I know that's always an impressively bad idea. :P
