LD 43 November 30–December 3, 2018

Ready for this!

Hi, To whom it may concern...

I am all in this weekend and have an amazing idea for a game. My only concern is that I won't be able to fit the theme into this idea.

For now I will warm up and do some finger stretches to get lose.

Good luck to all entering this challenge and to all playing the awesome games made in this jam.

Thanks and good bye.

Howdy! I'm In!

Howdy, everyone! I'm back for my 2nd Ludum Dare (Compo), ready to put what I've learned since the last jam to use. These themes are amazing this time! I'm excited to do even the least favored ones imo. Which themes are y'all looking forward to most? Personally I like either "Each playthrough builds on the last" or "It only changes when you aren't looking"

  • Godot - Engine
  • Krita - Art
  • Audicity - Audio
  • MuLab - Music

let's get good in

Welp, always wanted to try Ludum Dare, maybe this time I'll actually do it.

Using good old Godot Engine for this and probably aseprite for drawings.

Good luck everybody <3

Sup all

Obligatory "I'm in" message.

Insert humor here.

Tools used (for those curious): - Godot - Audacity - Gimp

Cheers, Leo

Very First Game Jam

I've been dabbling around Unity for a few months now and I'd like to give LD43 Game Jam a try. Hopefully it ends well, and full of fun. Good luck to us guys. Thanks.

We're in!!!

It's that wondrous time of year again, very excited to participating in my next Ludum Dare (I've honestly forgotten how many I've done at this point). I'll be joined by Aaron @almax (code) and Dale @dale-smith (audio) for this one. The last time the three of us were together on a project was my most successful and popular jam to date. Trying not to get too excited up as there is always a chance everything will fall apart.

I've seen a lot of posts from various people I recognise, and a few newcomers. Hope everyone has fun and learns something!

Every jam, we usually give ourselves an extra little handicap for fun. We try and decide what our genre of game will be before the jam, it keeps it fresh and allows us to make games that we've never made before. The previous 3 jams have been RTS, FPS and twin stick shooter. This time we are going to attempt to make a side scrolling beat-em up, a genre I've always wanted to make. However this will be tossed into the wind if the theme doesn't suit, or if someone has just too good an idea to pass up on Saturday morning.

Here is a short promo video I made stupidly late last night because I got excited and wanted to post something!

I'm In Babyyyy

Second Ludum Dare. Ready to go MIA for the weekend! Good luck everyone :)

Soon !

10h remaining, and, for the first time, I'm jamming from Siberia so I'll start at 9am (that's better than 3am on the middle Europe).

Good Luck everybody !

I'm in!

Third Jam!

I checked the LD site just a couple of days ago to remind myself when the Jam was. Turns out it was today, and not the middle of December as I thought. I've managed to convince my creative partner to join up with me once again even with short notice. Sadly though we have way less time available this weekend than we normally would as we both have other plans we made ahead of time. Regardless, it would be a shame to miss it, so we're just going to make something small!

Best of luck everyone. It's always a great time.
