Falling behind, BUT...
I am now a few hours in and I can already see how I am falling behind on time. Plus I have kids that keeps me busy. At least they give me some positive feedback and now I have minion houses in the game.
Check it out.

This seems to work. Still not sure if I can balance this in the end.

It will be a classic Sokoban style game. You have various powers - push boxes, swim in water, chop up bushes with your sword and jumping over obstacles. There will be 4 places around the map, each making you sacrifice one of those powers to spirits of the forest. Once you visit them all, you complete the level.
I hope to eventually come up with interesting puzzles where you have to use a power a lot before giving it up and look ahead.

This is all I have after 2 hours. Slow progress so far, but I think I know exactly how to do it now.
Anyway, time for lunch. Starting to get a bit irritiated, I would not like that to overflow into the night.
Some obvious ideas, but nothing really solid as of yet. Oh well, creating assets is "fun" on it's own.
I've already started from scratch two times. My head just feels so empty.
Throwing knives at goblin.

Also ladders

I always fear that part when I have to rig a character, but this time all seems to go according to my plan :D
By the way, I have a title for my future compo game "The Awful adventures of Awful Dave in Awful 3D World" , the name speak by itself ! :p

She seems to be surprised a little.

I have sheep! Blender 2.8 + GLTF + Godot = + :sheep:

Although it's not my first LD I think I am underestimating the time limit. I have a very solid idea and it requires a lot of work. Got basic player movements down as well as a few models that seem polished enough to be the final ones.
Ok, i'll explain further this gif: This aren't the final graphics or the core of the game, but you have to start somewhere, and small beginnings like this are an important step.
-btw, I've already implemented some spoilery stuff-
I made an MVP, I guess.
The title is Henhouse, but I haven't done the graphics yet...
Here's a link to the game: https://neverik.itch.io/henhouse

I hope you are having fun! This is my third time with this team as an artist and I get to create lots of stuff which is great :D
So far I have been creating some building designs for the game and will continue working.

Good luck erveryone!!
I am making the last game of the trilogy about dealing with a breakup and depression. I made a game each year to show the "evolution" of the feeling and now it comes to an end. All three games were developed for Ludum Dare. If you are interested, you can play the other two games here:
Forever Someday: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-36/?action=preview&uid=110418

Well, i just got really frustrated over my raycast platforming controller not working as intended... Turns out the new Unity Beta version i was using was causing a problem. Switched back to a more stable version aaaand it's gone. (As in the errors were gone)
So here's a friendly reminder: make sure that you are using something stable befor entering a competition ^^

He looks like a good boy, or prince dunno.
Just now I have an idea
It's really late = (
