With so little time left, here is a shameless plug for our game!

It is a tower defence game where you drive around squashing squishy bugs.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/extreme-extermination-defense
In the meantime, I will try to give some of the games in Danger some ratings, or you can post your game below so I can try them out

Is it a First Person Shooter? Is it a Real-time Strategy Game? No! It is Crystal Wars!
You can play it on Windows, Mac and Linux systems!
This is our first entry for a Ludum Dare and we are still short a few votes. So if you are intrigued by this concept, we would appreciate it if you stopped by and left a few votes. See you in the comments!
Was a little late to the voting :flushed:, looks like I've only half the votes needed to enter, if anyone can spare a minute (it's really short) and play my game that would be greatly appreciated! Leave a comment if you're still under 20 and I'll give yours a play in return, don't force feedback if you don't wanna, just leave a :red_car: emoji or something random.
Technically I didn't finish my gameplay, but I'd still like feedback on graphics and mood as I spent (perhaps to my own detriment) a lot of time on them, here's an image of the game.

I was trying to fuse tower defence with a card game and... programming a card game is perhaps too much for my rather slow programming abilities :stuckouttongue:. Not an issue though, LD is always a learning experience and now I know if I it's too complicated to explain in less than 30 seconds on day 1, it's too complicated to make in 2 days, haha.
Looking forward to play some of the winners, certainly think I've already played a few.
See you all at LD42
EDIT: A game link would've been a good idea...

In this picture I want to show some of the concepts prior to the development of Survaby. When I make a jam, I like to spend long times thinking about the game we are going to develop. I think it's more important to spend time on the concept than to start immediately.

As you can see in the image, there are several games concepts. One of them is a sketch of a soccer-races game. In the upper part, the original idea of Survaby appears, where you had the cradles scattered around the room, not as it was finally in the game, grouped in one of the sides. By the way, early name for Survaby was "Baby Care Apocalypse". Wich one do you prefer?

You can play the result here: Play Survaby
Make sure to pass by Proelium!

Check out my game  Win My Heart: Battle Royale  and help me get to 20 ratings: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/win-my-heart-battle-royale-dating-sim
Let's get everyone to 20 ratings before the deadline :kissing_heart:
Now announcing: the first post-LD update for The Mad King's Tournament!
This patch contains the much-requested fullscreen mode and multi-resolution support, and also fixes a bug where not enough food was spawning! Enjoy!
I plan to release another, much bigger, update later tonight that I've been working on as well! New features will include greatly-improved AI and combat! And now that I'm done with finals and graduation and all that mess, I'll be hopefully releasing some new updates every day until LD ends, including planned features like Skills, Magic, and Crafting!
Also, in recognition of the rapidly-approaching deadline, I am taking this opportunity to announce that EVERY SINGLE PERSON who rates (and comments) on The Mad King's Tournament in the next 48 hours will receive a rating and comment from me as well! We're almost there, let's get other's games past the 20-rating marks!
For those that haven't seen or played it yet, The Mad King's Tournament is a combination of a text-based adventure and a battle royale! You wake up in a mysterious arena and must fight hunger, thirst, and 99 other competitors to make it out alive!
Game page link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-mad-kings-tournament

We are currently at an average of 98 ratings on our surprisingly successful first ludum dare entry, PlatSCII!
It would be greatly appreciated if YOU rated me and my team's game. LINK: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/platscii

If your game has a bug that can't be fixed, call it a feature
AHH! Someone help a me out and play my game! There's only one day left and I still need 5 WHOLE RATINGS! #SendHelp https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/nintendating!
Only a couple of days left to rate LD41 games, or to beg for a few more ratings! :)
Here's the team entry that I did a lot of the code for - It's snake. With guns. And some fairly shiny graphics, for a 3-day jam game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p75P0R5xU0k
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mechasnek
(Native PC build recommended, but there is a WebGL version. Requires a reasonably decent GPU...)
Let me know if you want me to play your game! Also feel free to check my game out, I'm only a few ratings away from 20 (and I always appreciate the feedback on my games!)

challenge yourself! Try to destroy all enemies and score 8200 points

You can play it in your browser Or download it to your computer (windows) have fun
play the game here =) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/crazy-cube
Hi friends! I made a fun Ludum Dare game that needs some more votes:
ULTRA BAE!

They say that when a bae becomes so powerful, they surpass the ranks of regular baes to become something greater...
To become ULTRA BAE, you'll obviously need to do two things:
To play this game, you run ULTRA BAE on a computer, and Baedar on a phone (or a browser window on a computer if you want) at the same time. On Baedar you match with different people that change your weapons and stats 😜
I'm still working on some more tweaks for a post-compo version too, if you're interested in seeing it become a more complete game
We are in the final weekend for rating games, so for today, I will be listing every game that I have already posted or that has been posted in the comments that still doesn’t have enough votes. As usual, if your game is not listed (use ctrl+f, search for your game’s URL) and doesn’t have enough ratings (i.e. the “ratings received” is orange and doesn’t have a check mark beside it), please feel free to link it in the comments. Hello everyone ! The Robolution needs your help ! In order to prepare...
I'll be around feverishly rating games, so just comment on my game and I'll rate yours! I totally chilled out on the rating, man. But I'll try to get to the long stretch...
If anyone's curious about the game, here's some exciting gameplay from mine:

Hey Guys!
It's the last 2 days remaining for the results of LD41 to come out. I have an idea. Let's rate each other's games? Comment down the link to your game and I along with others who read it will rate your games. And in return you rate my and their games too...
So here is the link to my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/memebumps
Don't forget to leave a review if you liked it. Also comment down the link to your games too...
Cheers!

Astral Fantasy is a cross between space shooter action and turn-based RPG mechanics, created for the compo.
This post will outline the general process of my entry's development and discuss what I've learned, for those interested. Hopefully my struggles and successes will be as valuable to you as they have been to me. View the timelapse for a quick visual overview of the development:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf-sCL38luk
Unity, Blender, and GIMP were my tools.
I settled on the idea to combine realistic physics and RPG styles after some thought; I'm currently taking a physics course so I've always thought it would be fun to work with some kind of orbital concepts. Also I'm a fan of 90s Final Fantasy games. The idea of combining these "genres" seemed so ridiculous I had to do it.
NOTE: You'll see a pixel aesthetic already implemented below. I tend to like the palette customization that the shader provides, so I went for such a retro look very early.
Modeling planet gravity wasn't hard; F = G*M*m / r^2 is the relationship I know best, so I started with that. After writing some planet classes, gravity worked fine and ships could orbit in the way I envisioned. Next I needed a way to draw the trajectory of moving ships. The trajectory prediction feature was adapted from this script, obviously modified with custom planet gravity in mind. It basically calculates a series of positions and writes them to a Line Renderer.

This orbital trajectory prediction was probably the largest stump in the weekend, hitting me right in the first 6 hours, when I couldn't find a satisfying way to calculate trajectory quickly and accurately. I reached a reliable algorithm after dropping mass from calculations and only drawing new paths between player turns, seen above. Simplifying the factors allowed me to move on.
Taking heavy inspiration from Final Fantasy, I started to work on the UI and turn-based elements of the game. This is also when I began testing playing with two ships at once, seen below.

I am happy with how the UI turned out, although it probably took longer than it needed, cutting into other areas of polishing. Most time was spent putting the menu together and getting input working with it nicely. Despite this being far into the weekend already, I hadn't even gotten around to modeling ships, making unique weapons, or anything that should logically come before the UI. That might have been my biggest mistake.
Time was running out, and I had an effective RPG system going, but little content. The last few hours were a rush to make ship models and enemy types; I had to cut features I hoped to have in the final game such as music, items and shops, limit breaks, and even a stat point system. It was very discouraging to drop all these RPG aspects that I initially wanted, since I knew it would negatively impact the gameplay. Thankfully, I didn't give up and I simplified healing and leveling to negate the missing features.

When I finally submitted, the game world consisted of scattered planets with their own sets of enemies to spawn, as well as two ships to rescue and add to your party. When the player feels ready they can take on the boss ship to win. Each player ship had three weapons that would unlock as they leveled up, but stronger enemies would spawn to counter progression, making the space battles more intense and difficult.
In developing Astral Fantasy, I've learned ways to implement RPG elements as well as space-like gravity. I could use some improvement in a realistic scope, however, as I worked to the last minute unfinished despite hoping to finish early (which always happens). Most of my first few hours were wasted trying to get orbital trajectory prediction working perfectly, and in the future I will probably try to find a quicker solution to my problems so I could move on rapidly. I also know now that complicated mechanics such as orbital physics are probably better off as the only focus for a jam game, since I could have made that unique aspect possess greater depth.
I'd like to note that there is plenty of work that could have been done to Astral Fantasy post-jam to enhance the game, but following submission, I was too busy with school to work on the game at all, so I decided to leave it as it is.
Despite the errors along the way, I am glad I participated, sacrificing some school work time, because the new challenges I faced with the theme and chosen genres have given me valuable experience. There's still time to rate it:
Thanks for taking the time to read, until next time!
As long as your game has an online link, I will play it (as long as you play mine...) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/nintendating
Fancy seeing you here.
When LD41 took place I mashed up a point & click adventure game with an FPS to make the 'point & shoot' adventure game (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/point-shoot) which included being able to fire boxes of chocolate everywhere and attempting to talk to cupboard doors. (psssh...hint hint, only 2 days left to rate.)

I've decided to make a proper game out of it! Wooo! Coming to a Steam store near you at a date when I've actually finished it.
One thing I never got around to doing for LD41 was experimenting with visuals, because seriously who has the time to do that while fighting Unity and C#. If I had a fourth arm, then yes. Perhaps I'd have gotten round to it. So I've done a quick art test tonight and would love some feedback from you folks.
1) My is that some clean 3D
https://i.imgur.com/Ch6ccQx.gif
2) Nah clean is boring, pixel it up
https://i.imgur.com/Gmizxb6.gif
I'm leaning towards the 2nd. The game I want to make is supposed to take bits of the classic point & click adventure game genre and I've always thought that as well as actions like 'look at' the pixel art of those 90s games is part of it. Brings a certain charm I think!
Anyway, tell me what you think. Would love to read your thoughts.
Bye bye now.
This was our first LD and it was a very big and fun experience... thank you all so much...
Thanks to the 30 people who rated our game!
(Technically it's approximately 60 people because it's a two players game 😛)
Date Fighter is a dating sim mixed with a fight game. 2 players fight each other to have time to talk with a girl, and try to seduce her.
Didn't played it yet? Give it a try! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/date-fighter

Will you battle? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/nintendating
I know that most of the games with zero ratings have not been seen because of the developers not doing any "self-promotion" of their entry(aka doing posts, rating other games, leaving coments), so it's KINDA their fault. Also i do understand that if you are just a newcomer, you can miss the fact that your game can be easily lost in 3000+ entries, if you just bail out right after posting your game to the site. I kinda made the same mistake when i participated in my first game jam. And some people just don't care about ratings i guess.
But damn, this game is pretty funny, even though it's really short. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/unbeheaded-monarchs
If you ever thought that Bullet Hell weren't intensive enough, maybe you'll find that building a base while dodging hundreds of projectiles just your thing!
Take a look at Last Stand on the link below and see what crazy thing came out of mixing RTS and Bullet Hell :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/last-stand
I know it's a little late, but can you give this small game some love? It's not mine, but it only has 2 ratings and it's pretty cute! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-story-of-my-life
I'm so sad that I cannot play this game, so maybe you can? Try it out, it needs some ratings! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/officer-pain-the-smash-cop

Hi everyone! Let me speak about my the greatest surprise that I have got from this event. This is a game that I can't forget till now. I have played this game at the start of play+rate period. After that, I have played a lot of games. And if it to be honest, forgot about most of them.
But not this one. This game has no perfect sound or impressive art. I am not sure about a commercial perspective of this game. But for me, it has the best implementation of the current topic. When the combination of two genres gives us new gameplay.
Here is the game made by TheGreenMan (@thegreenman).

He is not my friend. He got enough ratings. It is not game of mine.
So, can you advise me a game that you remember till now?

Just a couple of days left in the LD41 judging. Need more ratings for your game? Rate mine, and I'll return the favor. I will not let your review bias mine one way or another. Just rate and leave a comment, so I know who you are, and I'll rate your game in the next two days.
Hey, I wrote down some words about our game, you can find it here: https://demo.land/blog/2018/05/13/ludum-dare-41/

Wow, 75 Votes! We definitely did not expect such a strong response to Haiti Kitty! Thank you everyone for your kind words and your feedback! We really appreciate it!
As a special thank you, we present some content from the upcoming 1.0 version - This is what happens, when incompetent second player cats confuse a shoe with a fish:

We are working hard on it and and there will be looooads of new content. Of course, if you haven't already and have 2 minutes to spare, you can still check out our original entry. Even though the baseball controls in that version are really unintuitive. Just a word of caution.
If you play it or not, thank you for reading this text! Have a fish, it's on the house! 🐟
Ludum Dares are an incredible experience.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s02n5hXDCok
This was kind of weird game jam for me. For starters, I made most of this game on tablet while travelling from place to place, so that's a first (for me, anyway). Secondly, I feel oddly fulfilled. Usually after LD my mind races to find new ways to expand the entry into a more complete game, but this time I really don't have anything to add. It's done. Maybe some bug fixes and difficulty tweaking if players feel that way but that's about it.
Well... I have a pretty strong idea for a sequel to this game. But that's later. Sleep now.
Couple of commenters were wondering what kind of genre this game represents, and honestly? I have no idea either. I started from "me hating this theme with passion" mashed with "me really wanting to do Ludum Dare for a change" and ended up here. Seriously, I think you all are great and I love you to bits, but clearly we have WAY different ideas on how to do creative work. I never start planning from a genre. Maybe a central mechanic, rest of the game built around it and if it turns out to be of certain ilk, then that is what's happening.
This time I chose gardening, probably mostly because of the hot season we're having around these parts. Caring for a plant from seed to maturity felt like something I could do in a scarce time that I had available. Originally I wanted to do something without any violence, but yeah. When you can proverbially kill two slugs with one burst of white energy (how to get seeds & what is the threat that plants need protecting against) then you really have no choice, given the extra short timeframe.
I really felt pretty hopeless in the last few hours of the jam. Gameplay was as done as it was going to be, but it didn't feel that good. Luckily, I found some great audio from Freesound. It's a wonder what the tiniest things can do - I slapped some appropriate sound effects and ambiance at their place in less than 90 minutes and it really made the difference. What seemed kinda lifeless and clinical on the screen became lively with sounds recorded from the nature.
I always feel little sorry for those Ludum Darers (Darists?) who don't have time to implement any kind of sound to their entries. It's usually the difference between playing the game for a minute just to give some sort of rating or actually seeing it through.
Well, that's enough of my rambling. Itch is the post-jam version, if you want to toss a couple of ratings my way the entry page is over here. Comments would really be appreciated, I was tuning the length and difficulty of a playthrough for ages and I'm still not sure if I even remotely nailed it.
Oh, right. The patch notes:
- fixes to pretty much everything
- one new plant
- some plants now wither
- water plants are less dumb
- expanded ending sequence

Do you love sports? How about patiently waiting for your opponent to make their moves? Well I've got the perfect game for you. BlipBlapBall is a 1-2 player turn-based sports game playable in browser: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/blipblapball

I've had to work most of the play and rate period, so I haven't had the time to rate many games. I'll try to get a few more in before the rating period ends, and I'd appreciate if you guys would help me get the last few votes my game needs. Thanks!

It’s time for the final sprint for Ludum Dare! It’s the last week, and people are going full-throttle commenting and rating! There are a lot of games with less than 20 ratings that deserve some more attention, so be sure to keep contributing to the community! Lots of people here have worked hard to make it through the crunch!
As for Wizsnooks, our loot-frenzy pool action game, we got a post-mortem ready for you. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but we’re still glad that we get to share this with you!

Wizsnooks is a roguelike loot pool hybrid where you clear tables with different layouts by defeating all of the enemies present on it. Enemies are defeated by attacking them with your white-ball, Snooks, or by pushing them against one of the lava-filled holes spread across the table. Once all the enemies are defeated on a table, the game will randomly pick the next one, filled with all new enemy balls to defeat.
When an enemy is defeated, the player is awarded a random piece of equipment of varying rarity which alters Snooks defense and attacking stats, making it progressively easier to defeat more and harder enemies. Equipment can also be dischanted as to heal some of Snooks health and inventory prioritization is a must. However, no amount of equipment will save Snooks if they fall into a lava-filled hole!
Although we kept our same team formation (one programmer, one artist and one composer) for this Ludum Dare, this time-around, the team was mostly composed of members which have recently joined our team at Whales And Games , with the exception of @Moski, returning as the game’s artist. @Kroltan, which had previously participated with Moski on the creation of JouleThief: Charge Your Phone joined as the team’s programmer, and @RobinhoodPT, which had participated with us on previous Ludum Dare entries, such as Colossorama and Jazzy Beats returned as the game’s sole audio composer.
Wizsnooks was developed with a mix and match of programs which we normally use during our daily game development workflows, along with our vision and sweat. Some of these tools, as well as some of the plugins for each respective tool, that we used include the following:

Because of timezones and availability, not everyone on the team was present at the announcement of the theme. Shortly after the theme was announced, some members got into brainstorming, then one left and another came to further discuss more ideas. It wasn’t until about 12 hours after the theme’s announcement that the game’s concept of “Snooker but with roguelike elements and loot” finally materialized with everyone agreeing on it.
With pool mechanics in mind, the programmer was able to make snookers, enemies, and even random level progression (which some people have mistaken as procedurally generated levels). The musician delivered some of his best tracks to date, and the art was among the most cartoonish the artist has done. The team played to their best strengths and in the end, we were all satisfied with what Wizsnooks became.
Scope of the Project
The idea of Snooker+Action+Roguelike was accepted almost immediately by the whole team. It was initially created with themes of pool mixed with a medieval setting (which, later in development, was shifted to sorcery). Because of it, we were able to quickly debate about what to add, what to remove, and which direction to take the game to. Many ideas included bosses and enemies taking turns to attack, but we ended up heading on a direction on which skill and inventory management were more important than hoping to survive being thrown into a hole without the player’s input.
The project had it all. A core gameplay loop, attacking and healing mechanics, inventory, enemies, and many levels. Discussing a plan, grounding the possible ideas and dismissing those that would need a lot of tweaking or playtesting.Having a direction made it possible to polish the game, make it as little confusing as we could, and still manage to have a wide arrangement of loot and levels.
Labor Structure, Division and Cooperation
Our core team was composed of 3 people, with a few special mentions of a few others that assisted us with feedback, help with code and moral support. Because of the tools used, the group was able to stay communicated with each other, update the project almost seamlessly and discuss changes and directions. Overall, we all had something to do almost all the time.
Because some of us had the knowledge to work with Unity at the same time, towards the end of the jam, we were making many levels at the same time. While the artist kept preparing stuff for UI and the title screen, the musician was able to import weapon and helmet assets, which allowed to double the loot. Finally, the programmer was able to improve the overall gameplay of the game.
The Physics Could Be Improved
Wizsnooks was made with Unity’s recently added tiling system, which allowed us to create a multitude of maps in little time. However, one of its core problems was that the game’s physics ended up not working as intended. Balls would lose a lot of momentum when touching each other, bounce in weird directions or bounce back when hitting a wall, displaying a weird feeling of friction at times, making it hard to tell where something will end before you hit the cue ball.
Likewise, we should also have given the players the ability to preview how their shot would behave, allowing them to navigate around much easier.
The Camera Shouldn’t Be an Obstacle
With so many levels, there should be a way to be able to look around before hitting the ball. Otherwise, when starting a new level, the player would need to do small hits to avoid hitting a dragon orb accidentally or falling into a lava pit by shooting somewhere without having knowledge of the level’s layout. A common suggestion we got through feedback was to allow the player to look around the map before taking a shot.
It’s been a fantastic experience to work as a team again this Ludum Dare. With Wizsnooks, we adhered to a simple idea and increased it with concepts that were within our grasp, which allowed us to deliver a polished and fun experience (sans a few rough edges) which is what Whales And Games always strives for when creating new projects.
Like many projects in the Ludum Dare, we’d love to see some post-jam enhanced edition of sorts. Pending availability of the team, we’ve discussed things that we’d like to add to Wizsnooks, a lot of which is based on the feedback we’ve gotten from the comments. Some of the changes that we’d make include:

Going forward, The Whales And Games team is planning on touching up some of our projects that we have previously shown around (such as on our Twitter wall ). Since it’s a growing team, some of the members want to work on updating Wizsnooks, while others want to throw a few surprises in the coming months. There would be some extra touches here and there, and hopefully a few releases. We also want to start interacting more with players and better incorporate fan-feedback into our workflow. If you’d like to join us in this process, feel free to say ‘Hi!’ through our Discord server!
Making the post-mortem was an eye opener for us, and we hope that you can find this insightful as well. Doing an hybrid of snooker and roguelike was something that we couldn't have even dreamed before the gamejam, and seeing it exist is just amazing. The team is proud of the project we made this time around and about the effort of not only us, but those that supported us from start to finish.
If you're interested in checking it out, Wizsnooks, could welcome some last minute ratings. It’s been fantastic to once again participate with incredibly talented people at the Ludum Dare, and we’re hoping to stick around for some more in the future. We’ll be crossing fingers and hoping to see you all around! Cheers! :whale:

I'm still in the danger zone with just over a day left to go, so I'd really appreciate it if you could come and play and rate my game! It's a cross between roguelike and match-three, as bizarre as that sounds; the idea is that you have to manipulate your enemies into forming a line of three or more. Here's the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/roguematch. Leave a comment and I'll play & rate your game tonight when I get some time :)

Focus on the idea that is unique, everyone can code

Hi!
That's less than 2 days before the end that I realise I didn't post anything this LD!
So here's a fast presentation of our Jam Entry : Flying By Yourself!

It's a simple scoring game with some twists!
(There's a video in the description, if you want to see the game without playing it!)
The idea was to make people believe it's a real scoring game, and then slowly distort it with weird effects. It was supposed to surprise the player and make them question the point of following the games rules...
But some players just didn't like the surprise and hated the game for not being what it looked like... I guess it's the fault of my bad design choices at the beginning... But well, it's a finished game, with its default, and we are proud of it anyway!
If you read this before playing the game, please try it and tell me what you think now that you know the twist, it'll really help us know what work and what doesn't work in our game!
Thank you, enjoy the end of the jam!

In this image you can see a sketch of a space invaders - tetris ... an idea that we discard because it is too hard to perform in 72 hours. Personally I have never programmed a tetris, so I didn't want to take a chance.
In the lower part of the image, you can see the definitive configuration of Survaby scene, with the cribs grouped on one side of the scene, and the zombies entering by the right.

You can enjoy and vote Survaby here: Play Survaby

Hi, guys, tomorrow is the last day of giving ratings and this is our last chance to get your valuable feedbacks. So here you go give our game a try and tell us what you think.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/battle-bots

Hey guys! We are a team of two, Anubhav Kashyap, a 14 year old game developer and programmer, and Riley (aka Horsey Games), a 17 year old game developer and musician. I managed to do the programming after a lot of effort, since there was trouble with Unity and it wasn’t working properly. My one day’s progress even got deleted. But we somehow managed to finish the game (with many features lacking), and here it is.

Well, with 1 day of voting left I'd like to post our updated version of Ventureville! In this, myself and the other coder (Joel) improved on a lot of the game and added in features we hoped to see in the Jam version of the game but didnt have time to implement.
In particular, this means building options and basic farming. The bandits also got an overhaul and tend to behave a lot better now.

If anything, the change-log below indicates the main issue with this game for the gamejam - the scope was waaaaay too large. All those interconnected features mean a mess of coding to manage, after a while they all compound on top of each other and the slightest changes or new features take a lot longer to implement. But sometimes, its fun to be ambitious!
v2.0 Change-log:
-Win/Lose conditions
Winning: (Defeat all bandits & find/destory their houses)
Losing: Have your house destroyed & player killed
-Player health/death & respawn (only punishment is a short delay)
-Resources (stone/wood) basic implementation finished, can get resources from punching trees and rocks
-Basic building, can now build:
-House (acts as a respawn location & can only build 1 at a time)
-Wall (strong, made of stone)
-Fence (better for keeping animals in one spot)
-Farm (generates crops)-Incoming Raid warning (look for the exclamation mark above the player)
-Greatly improved player movement (diagonal movement now possible), removed icy sliding effect
-Only 1 house at a time, and a house is required to respawn
-UI fixed (full-screen scaling wasnt originally working)
-UI improvements (build mode feedback, building costs, etc)
-Bandit spawning more balanced
-Bandit forces regenerate over time, depending on islands and houses
-Bandit physics improved (no more moonwalking, they at least try to use physics properly)
-Bandits attack/swarm player
-Bandits might run away when attacked, to fight another day
-Bandits wont raid until theres a decent amount of them
-Bandit houses can be destroyed which slows/stops them spawning
-Blood stays around longer and spawns on hits instead of just death (better hit feedback)
-Cooldown timer on game start (so a raid wont instantly happen) + random cooldown after raid has triggered
-Better collisions on punches & objects in general
-Some objects also drop resources when destroyed (but less than they cost to build)
-Better music management (calm theme continues playing after combat theme ends)
-Cows/Sheep generate coins over time (look for the exclamation mark above them)
-Farms now grow crops that can be harvested (ofc with punching)
-Farms also grow cows & sheep (yes you read that right!)
-Rare rocks spawn with gold in them, so theres natural sources of coins if you run out completely
-Lots of other little fixes Ive forgotten!
Ventureville v2.0 (post-jam) can be play tested here: http://www.delta-edge.com/Ventureville_v2/
