In the last few days we have received wonderful feedback on Glad - Gladiators! Many of them praise the idea, art and mechanics. Juntmanete with them we received several ideas on how to improve our game and report of great bugs.

So to meet the clamor of everyone who tested our game, today we bring an improved version of our project.

* The modifications and chroma of bugs are as follows: *

• 1 - Correction of distribution of requisitions of the Goddess

• 2 - Correction of rewards and punishments of the Goddess

• 3 - Increased number of battles per game (battles until a player gets 6 coins)

• 4 - Correction game timer when paused

• 5 - CutScene fix from home screen

• 6 - Correction Restart of each battle

• 7 - Added Effects of static particles (during the whole game) and dynamics (they happen in certain situations)

• 8 - Added arrow marking available to the archer

• 9 - Correction of the skill of the warrior with shield and sword, inserted the dashblock

• 10 - Added Lancer random teleportation ability;

Whenever I participate in LD, I think of some ideas I always wanted to try and when the last voting round comes I just distribute the themes across the ideas. Then I wait...

When I heard the theme, I disliked it. It was somewhat too specific, so I couldn't fit it properly. I mean, of course, it's easy to do something in-theme, but I anticipated that a lot of games will be almost the same, a pool of life that you use for buying stuff, and also survival. Which is also ok.

However, I wanted something different. And yet I couldn't think of anything.

For this LD, as for the last one I've participated in, I decided to do it with my wife. Two minds are better than one. :smile:

After some brainstorming, we realized that we would actually LOVE the theme if we just...

My entry for LD44 is an "art game" without a goal. Well, I hope there's a "goal" - but not like... a goal goal.

However, while doing a spot of post-jam spaghetti refactoring (my favorite part of writing hacky code!), I accidentally discovered a game inside the game.

While making sure I hadn't changed/broken anything, I had to test it end-to-end (it takes around 3 minutes). Suddenly there was a tangible game goal: how little money could I earn? My record so far is just over $15,000,000,000 - but I’m confident I can "beat" it.

Can you? Perhaps we'll never know...

Making this game took a lot of late nights and hard work from my team! And it taught us a lot about coordination planning and teamwork! I'll definitely do this again whenever the next Ludum Dare happens!

As I said in my game´s descrpition, this has been my first ever game jam and i couldn´t be happier with how this has turned out. The ammount of things i´ve learned from the feedback i´ve recieved and from playing other people´s games is inmensive.
