Ludum Dare 47 October 2–5, 2020

I will play and rate your games!

Leave a link to your games in the comments below (have to be web-based) and I will try to rate and play your games. I will try to play games that don't have enough ratings first and then get to the others if I get a chance.

If you want to I'd appreciate of you played my gam as well: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/dinosaur-game-level-1

Gimme some game to play

If you want to, of course, I mean, it's your choice...

Ok, I'm really sorry but I can't get any more games... sorry!

Keep Playing, Keep Rating!

Hoping to catch up on rating more entries this weekend now that I'm finally able to catch a breather. I was cleaning up our build of unused temp assets and properly compressing the audio, so it's now 5MB instead of 50MB (!).

In the meantime, here are some screenshots from our short horror game, Hide and Seek.

Enjoy your weekend!

Hope you are having a good weekend everyone! If you are bored and you wanna kill some time, go search for games under 20 rates and rate them! If you have some spare time after that, you could also play and rate [while'd] :D. Our next milestione is 100 rates, wanna help us get there?

A bit of self promotion ;)

Hi everyone!

A short self-promotion of my short game :)

For this run I invested a bit more time in modelling and trying to improve the general atmosphere.

Have fun!

Post-compo starfields

One somewhat common feedback I got from my compo entry Orbital Rescue was that it was at time hard to realize that the camera had started zooming out to keep the player in view - instead it looked like the players movement changed.

To try and clarify that, I added a little starfield effect as on the background to give a sense of scale

I'll have to try and fix the artifacting around astronauts & the lander caused by my meagre understanding of how glow effects should work ;)

If you'd like the give the original compo entry a try, it's available at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/orbital-rescue :)

Bugs fixed in Stuck in a while(true)

Yesterday I upload a bug fixing version of "Stuck in a while(true)". I hope you enjoy it!

CHANGELOG

v 1.1:
  • Bug fixed: game doesn't work on Internet Explorer and Safari browsers
  • Bug fixed: internal error when a projectile impact 2 enemies at the same time can cause a "phantom enemy" that avoid you to end the level
  • Bug fixed: enemies pool doesn't work well and can cause performance issues
  • Improved weapones upgrade order (it reduced angular distance between enemies)
  • Text speed appears x2 faster
v 1.0:
  • Original Ludum Dare version

Thank you all!

I can't believe there's still 9 days left and Suitcase Panic already has 20 ratings! Usually get 20 when there's one day left, so I'm really happy to achieve this! Anyway, you can (and should, to help me make the full version) still play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/suitcase-panic

All feedback is welcome! (and I know the score blocks some speak bubbles, so you can stop saying it now.) Captura de pantalla (9).png

Need a couple more ratings for our game Directive 399WH. Web Build Available

3799f.jpg Directive 399WH is a… we’re not sure exactly. You are woken by your ship’s AI as there is an anomaly causing time loops aboard ship. The AI has a plan and he has chosen you….. for some reason?
The game is kind of a Puzzle/Exploration/Narrative game…. Just play it for a bit and tell us what we have made. Please… we’d love to know
If it feels like two different games jammed together at a certain point, you must be mistaken :innocent:

We were a bit slow to get rating other games so missed the rush. I will be happy to rate your games as well if you leave a comment.

Thanks!

In need of a couple ratings

Hey everyone! Our game still needs a couple ratings so we would be grateful if you checked it out. Thanks!

Try my game where you can reverse the enemies' time.

T I M E L I N E

E N I L E M I T

STUCK IN A TIMELINE.

While, if you can reverse the timeline?

No,no no. Don't misunderstand.

You can not reverse timeline of your character.

The only thing you can do, is Reverse timeline of the environment.

Control:

You can use Mouse or Space key to play the game.
