I have made a very strange game, but I like it. Going to rest then finish it up.

And
The Game Demo is working!
Introducing Desk Buddy, your very own desktop friend :blue_heart:
Keep it in a corner of your screen while testing other games or working! The Buddy will live its own life and sometimes require a bit of attention. You'll unlock customization elements to fit your aesthetic :sparkles:
We're converging towards finishing up the project, we'll start polishing soon! :clock5:
Here, have a peek at my Buddy (prototype! WIP!) taking a nap while I'm finishing up that article :sleepy:

No gameplay, only clay people

Making a precision platformer in the spirit of Commander Keen where you find yourself in a dream where you need to rescue your stuffed animals that have taken from you.

i was looking forward to it but because i have other projects to complete, i cannot finish that I have right now in just 7 hours.
Thanks to everyone who tests it) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/tiny-goon-ludum-dare-56 https://sdcorpse.itch.io/tiny-goon

im not sure if this post will show up on the feed because none of the other ones did, im not sure if i posted them correctly. But, I'm stepping out of the compo. I have other projects to do, and I can't finish what I have right now in 7 hours.
I'm making some progress with my compo game, I've got the full game loop working and I've added in some new features. Still need to balance it and work out a couple of bugs, oh and music and sound effects (must not forget about those!). How's it looking so far though?
Hope you're having a great time with your projects.

Bringing these cute little guys to life

I have been looking at this for a while. I needed to find a way to differentiate the ducks.. so I went with a "Pool Ball" colour scheme and it kinda looks cool.. But then I made them WADDLE... and that was it! I have a game! :D

I am once again generating random levels for our game

We present to you Frame Wizzard 2. Because my colleague and I had to work this weekend, we've decided to reuse last LDJam's project, which we're very proud of. We'll give it a new story and ideas to compensate. Hope you like it!

I want to spend a few words to talk about my compo entry. It's been quite a ride as I was not home and I could only bring my laptop with me. I was in Riva del Garda, the weather at least was quite cloudy so I was not too worried I would miss out on some sunny days

Nonetheless, not having all your gear handy can make things more difficult. On top of that, I wanted to give Godot a try so it was a new game engine, my iPhone with Koala and Figure to capture samples of myself and make some sound effects and music and possibly stick to super simple 2D art.
Oh and did I mention that there was a birthday during the weekend? That means even less time to try to beat the clock and complete my entry on time.
I stuck to some basic rules:
The result is what I called Badabees, a tribe of bees trying to save their hive from invading wasps.
I kind of wanted to make a sort of collectible cards game initially, but that sounded like way too much work, given the time constraint. I also explored an idea borrowing from the gambling world, something with slot machines and the like, but it didn't really stuck with me. And then I remembered about an old game called Patapong where you let your tribe of stick figures say a set of syllabes to perform different actions. I thought I could definitely do something along these lines.
Two days later, this is the outcome:

Unfortunately I couldn't make an interactive tutorial, which is something that would definitely help. I opted for a much simpler wall of text at the beginning of the game. I would have rather added tooltips as you progress in the game and I believe there should be some humming from the bees to help you remember the combinations of syllabes, but that would have required way too much time and I was already late and also had to pack up to drive for more than two hours to travel back home, so that was not really an option anymore.
I still hope you will enjoy this small little game as I had a lot of fun bringing it to life. As usual, please leave a comment as I love constructive criticism.

Slowly but surely we are finishing our game. Still has no title, so any ideas are appreciated!
