Super stoked for our first time participating. Looking forward to seeing everyone's games.
My first game jam comes to an end!

I spent most of the day on artwork, artwork and artwork. Lost myself quite a bit in the details lol.
Had to redesign my creatures to make them fit better into the aesthetic™.
Now it's finally (!!!) time to add them into the scenes.
Here's an example:

Still have several hours for simple game tho.
try this on line: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/tiny-villages

This is a survival, resource-gathering, building, and defense game. There are two types of resources in the game: wood and gold. You need to collect them to construct your buildings and recruit your fighters. Monsters will periodically attack, and you must defeat them to protect your village
oh right I forgot to show my super awesome main menu screen! I also found a lovely game name for it... it came out super well!

I overscoped a bit too much this time trying to make a factory builder game in PICO-8, so I'm gonna have to drop out of the compo. I'm going to try and keep working on the game though and maybe submit to extra or the BBS.
My first game jam done!
Play as a particle and defeat the other particles and eventually a boss!

I'm a little behind schedule, but I've got a lil inventory system in, and the movement for the character is now complete!

Putting in the leaders for the imp faction
Come hop in my stream btw, fun workjam, good music, good pals, and you're gonna love my layout :D

I have played a lot of deadlock recently and now the only type of game ideas I can think of are Mobas.
So now I am making the closest thing I can given the limited amount of time.

Again, it isn't a Zelda clone. My text glows.

My first time on a game jam, and still learning to program, so I'm making something simple

Just like I always do, I tell myself that I'm not going to overcomplicate the project and I end up making it more complicated than it could have been if I were to plan it for weeks.
As that is the case though, my game is currently moving strong! I think I should have everything done and working in time tomorrow. I'm excited to see this project come together so well!
This is first 3D game for us! All assets were made by us!

We're closer and closer to having a playable prototype, how's everyone else's progress?
What was your hardest challenge so far? Ours is that the tail movement of Napoleon Bonamouse.

... It makes me laugh ok
