4 hours to go on comp, can I push for at least 2 more levels???
pretty much everything is in place for a functional 1 level game, but I ALWAYS make 1 level games for jams, I really REALLY want to make a second and third levels.

I made some art for things that can be found in the great outdoors, i.e. space.
Ship, escape pod, asteroids, space junk, and planets.

I'm almost finished with this game and god damm I'm tired
rate the game pls rate it 20 or more https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/$395840
I know this was possible in LD55 as I did it for my game then, but I cannot find the option to do so now. Has this feature been removed?
YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN EXCUSE TO DO THIS!
Chat with birds at a seeds restaurant. Also, have fun finding exploits (actually please don't do that.)
The game will actually likely be empty when you play it. If so, get some friends to play it with you! Show me screenshots of that later!

While gameplay is still mostly stuck somewhere in the middle of recursion induced stack overflows, the graphics for our duck game are slowly coming together.

The game is called "Tiny Zoo", but it is more like a parent/pet-owner simulator. All the time you feed someone or clenaup the poo...
We are getting closer to something playable. Unfortunately, a teammate got seconded to their day 'hobby', so my workload has doubled. Our concept, it turns out, is essentially a physics game inside a physics game. So, I am having to implement two games. I am yet to find out if subviewport and signals is actually going to work for joining them together. If it doesn’t… uuummmmmmm I’ll figure it out. Sure.

Finally finished my game! I'm kinda tired lol! Here's the entry
We're getting there, ever so slowly...

We are out here doin it with ye all. It could be going better but sure you know yourselves how it goes. Hope ye are doing well. I am sure your games are lovely. We will play them all. This is us at the moment. We feel a little like we are going insane but also having fun!

I mentioned losing myself in the details. That's exactly what I mean. Does this wonky room REALLY need a picture of a cat? (Yes! Yes, it does!)
I've somehow managed to make the game without adding any graphics or sound with only 3 and a half hours to go... hehe, I'm in danger.

Trying to make game about tiniest creatures. Behind schedule by miles.xD

Someone might even say that the game is music related indeed

Hello everyone! We still have a little more than one day to finish our game. And we'll need it.
It doesn't feel or play like a game, but that's a start. As I said earlier today, we are still working on implementing all the mechanics and the UI.

And the UI is on its way too! Here is a mockup of the home hive upgrading UI. It's not definitive, and it will be a little different in the game, but it gives a good idea of what we're aiming to achieve.

For me, the next thing is a coffee. I need it. We just had a nice meal to feed our bodies, and we now need caffeine to feed our brains.

And after the coffee, it's time to go back to working on this little game. We hope to reach a point where the it is almost playable tonight. We'll see.
Good luck to all people doing the compo. You're on the home stretch now! Can't wait to play your games.

:disappointed:
Sadly not enought time left for me to have something submitted
Did not find the sweet spot for gameplay to be fun, lost lot of time trying to make my own music.
Playing around with boids was funs and i still think there is something to make out of this.
It was fun to go with the flow and change the design along the way, the game change course multiple time.
At least i created a new ugly picture for my ludum profile !
Good luck everyone
