Feeling rather good about this one.
We are probably going to opt out of theme because we couldn't think of anything/didn't feel like doing any of the ideas we came up with, but I am feeling rather good about what we made.

Just finished my entry! It's a small platformer in a cramped window you can rotate to get a better view. This was my first Ludum Dare, and GOD it was exhausting!!!

Still need to fix some stuff with the lighting, and waiting for some final sprites and animations. But pretty much all there's left is to make the levels!

Seems that no one can rate games. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!
Happy to share the milestones we've passed.🤗
"One mistake and you're wrong." Now lives are lost if you miss. Collected all game levels, clarified the transition between parts of the game. Updated the visual part: we made the layout of game scenes, we will work with the light. Almost made the animation!

My team and I are really happy with what we made. Our characters are original, animations, 2D elements, etc. The only thing that wasn't ours are the particle effects that we took and adapted and our environment assets. I'm hesitating to opt out of the graphics category since I don't want to undermine the work of our artists.
Finally finished my project! I struggled a lot trying to figure out the theme and I stumbled a lot while close the the finish line (I really wanted to make that Compo deadline) but I am satisfied with this project. I achieved my set goals and participated and completed my first Game Jam and using a new game engine. Using Godot for the first time I feel like I learned a lot over the weekend but I know that my project is a mess and I have so much more to learn.
Please check out and rate my game harshly! I need to know what my flaws are so I can improve on them. Thanks for reading this can't wait to see what amazing projects everyone has made.

Debuted in Ludum Dare with “Skull Hoarder’s Club” - crafted for the challenge! 🎮💀 Collect funny skulls, strategize buffs, and conquer. A whirlwind! Join the club, share feedback. Still dizzy, itching to balance more! 🧙♂️!
Planning on doing WebGL for faster play speed later tonight. But will have a build for download just shortly here. What an amazing Jam I've had, its been a lot of fun!
Get Ready to explore a SMALL dream...

Another visual novel complete, as the day here in Manila is about to end. Enjoy.

This is my 1st competitive Ludum Dare. But anyway, I wish you to enjoy entering the.. Infinitum Labyrinth! Loooot's of tinkering was needed until everything looked right!
Thank you in advance! Happy playing!

After two full days of work we've finished our game: How to Po. This is a game where you collect magic space apples while trying to not fall in the lava! We've had a really smooth jam this time and were able to put a lot of polish and care into this game!

Good luck to everyone who's still busy finishing their game!
You can play How to Po here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/how-to-po
OOps. No a lot of time left. I will try to implement a last feature, then I will only polish it and check for the bugs...

Good luck to everyone for the home stretch! :-)
Embark on a gentle dance of togetherness, playfully shifting and adjusting to find your perfect sleeping spot with your partner (not necessarily their perfect sleeping spot). One of you will get a full night rest, while the other will try their best, but you still love each other.

Headhog and I had a lot of fun and interesting ideas, as the "Limiting space" theme was inspiring, but we were limited by the time and space (pun intented), so we focused on the simplest idea we had (it was only 2 of us, without any artists).

The most complex thing was to make the controls work the way we wanted, as too much control makes boring game, while the lack of control makes it frustrating. After couple of hours of tweaking, we were satisfied with the current state, and just left it as-is (following the 80/20 Pareto principle ).
All the models are from Asset store (sorry, we can't model), but the texturing and uv mapping were done by us (we wanted custom characters so had to invest time to get familiar with the Blender and uv textures a bit).
Just look at this beauty :D

At the end, we were super satisfied with the polished game, as we even had time to add icon and background music.

After finishing my game last night, I was incredibly tired. After non stop working for so long I needed some sleep, and after waking up I still feel the fatigue lol. I realised that as the embed uploaded for my game it didn't actually work, so I'm pretty sad to realise there's no web version available, until now.
If anyone wants to give a hand at my game, feel free!
Since all I have to do is balancing & some simple tutorial, I was wondering if I could post my game for you to play it.
Can I then upload the updated version, with the tutorial & balancing? (before jam's end of course)
Gif from my game for attention

My entry for the Jam is complete. Check it out!

Phew… What a week end!
For my 4th Ludum Dare, i challenged myself to enter the compo format. Since my first LD i was determined to try this format, but 72h already felt impossible last year so i put this wish aside. But since i was nicely surprised of the outcome of the last GMTK (my first 48h jam), my confidence was boosted and i hoped to reiterate for LD54.
These last two days were a rollercoaster of confidence, and many times i thought i'd have to enter the jam format (and that would have been ok, i know what amount of polish could be done in one day). I had to reduce my scope a little bit (i was planning to add another char and a couple of enemies) but finally, here it is, my first compo game:

Oh no! The kid opened a demonic gateway to the Voyd dimension!
• Fight the Voyd and survive as long as possible while facing an increasing number of Voydlings!
• Load up your defensive aura by defeating foes and wait for the right moment to unleash it.
• Watch out for the lethal Voyd Walls as firing at them will make them grow toward you.

Now tell me there are no aliens.

I am in NO way affiliated with those games but that's how the list showed it to me.
Good luck everyone!
