Animation In Progress...

We're trying something new! Here's some level design we're working on using a temporary tileset
can someone please me how to make a game on here?

We had an idea and we are running with it!
Here's a sneak peak:

With post processing and a custom shader the neon effects are starting to look really cool. Currently @hacktier is making the first real textures which we can combine with the shader to generate the best of both worlds!

Got a late start to the day but I finessed up the text boxes a bit, setup a basic version of the force's attitudes and engagement status, submitting dialogue to impact engagement and added some more option boxes.
Plus configured my coding setup a bit

The game is now in a playable state with scene management, main menu, gameplay loop, win and fail states implemented. Most of the important sound effects are in the game. The gameplay is about slow hunters with long range rifles and the faster wolves with sharp teeth. The player turns into either one based on randomized timer. When the timer has 5 seconds left a progress bar appears to warn them that they are about to turn from hunter into wolf or vice versa. As a hunter the player must kill the wolves and as wolf they must kill the hunters.
Our main character finished 3D model!
I'm not much of a pixel artist AND animating run cycles is rough especially for a horse.
I think it's believable enough hopefully!

Basic systems are now done now it's time to add gameplay.

GameLoop is finished, but way off with polishing, sounds, content, etc...

Had an idea to control the player by manipulating the ground for a while now ("You are the environment", anyone?), but my old computers didn't have enough processing power to recalculate the mesh on the fly. Now that I've upgraded, I'm finally putting my idea into practice!
This is the end of the first day out of the 3 of the Game Jam and me and my teammates, @noneegy and @TwistedHawk , we're on a roll! Game concept done, pixel art done as well, level design is on the way and so does the sound! I truly think we will do something in time!
Damn, I made two tracks today. That didn't take too many time, but drained a lot of my stamina. Better take it easy tonight and sleep a whooooooole night ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh, friendly reminder: rest, eat, sleep! Coffee isn't everything!
... but I can work with that!

Thanks to this game being in 1080p (despite my computer's resolution being smaller than that) I can't even upload a 3-second gif any more.

Still not going to reveal any plot details or anything. 😜 You'll just have to try and figure out what this game's about yourself, if people even read these.
Here is our player sitting in his idle before going into a run:

This is our monstrous eyeball enemy:

Stay tuned for some elemental sprites and animations!
Added some obstacles and core mechanics. It's already fun to play!

Make background. Export. Draw obstacles. Export. Import it all. Change a few bits of code. Repeat.
Kind of boring, but it's progress.
The graphics suck. I know. I'm trying to tell a lot with a little.
Welp. Back to work!
