That had to happen during a game jam. Oh, well. I turned it into a break time. But then, electricity went back and my level design was like NOPE.

A game where you have 4 tasks to juggle in the main room, that influence your blaster you use to destroy meteors! Don't put everything on full blast, though, or you'll risk an overheat!
Only this done so far. No menu, pause, game over, or anything else. Balancing is going okay. Good luck everyone!

My game, Megalomania, is now live! This has been a very interesting process as I've never quite made a game like this before. No graphics to speak of, no physics... the entire thing is done through what is essentially menu screens and UI.
Part of my thoughts going into LD49 were that I wanted to figure out how to use Odin Inspector for Unity (I recently picked it up in a Humble Bundle and want to use it in other projects). I think it's safe to say that this was a success in that aspect.
I could dissect the game further and go into design details, but I have purposefully designed to game to be partially about going in blind and figuring out what everything means...
Playstation spooky tactics now has objective gameplay and enemy AI. It's still not much to look at visually but I'm near mechanically complete. I just need triggers for win and failure and I can move on to Polish.
Though there's obviously lots more I can (and hope to do) with the mechanics after the Jam. I really want to use the remaining time today and what time I have after work tomorrow to get it all looking and feeling nice.
Though it took longer than I wanted I'm super pleased to have the gameplay working so far ahead of the end of the jam. I'm guilty too often of building towards games that are only playable right at the end of game jams. I'm pushing myself to get into a better habit of critical pathing gameplay first.

OHHH man am I happy, during my exams, learning a new engine and ALL THAT during 48 HOURS! I'm so happy! Please play my game, I know it's not the best, but still. HTML and cover art coming tomorrow. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/$260281
I managed to accomplish my goal: I finished something  Maybe not the best, or not the most original, but it's mine :)

That was challenging, I hope everyone enjoys it!

I finished my game! It might not be the most original idea and I took a huge influence considering the artwork, but it's done and I've learned a lot this jam. Looking forward to the next one!

My game is almost finished, it even has original music!
Here's a little gameplay of it: https://twitter.com/richard08Games/status/1444722446469419015
My penguin (🐧) game is finally out! Play now at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/penguin-panic and do tell what you think 😊

Finally finished my new jam game with around 4 hours to go. This time instead of making a jam game though I decided to participate in the compo jam, meaning now I had 24 hours less. Still, working on the game was a lot of fun and wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. If you wanna check it out here's the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/renegade
The making of pizza sounds for the game
I finally finished my game! This was my third gameJam and my second Compo in the Ludum Dare. I really enjoy the whole game making process and I look foward to the next event!

... but gonna join jam instead of pushing today :)

And damn it looks good! Does it look appealing to you?

We hit a few bumps, but Un-Stabled is still coming along just fine. We enjoy scrolling through the blog posts and seeing the different interpretations of themes. Not to mention the occasional person that also did horses!
