First time
I’m in, depending on the theme. Could be fun, glad I didn’t have any plans for the weekend.
I’ll most likely be using Unity and C#
Also, I have no idea how to change avatars here.

We’re in as superdamage.com .
I’m in! This will be my fourth time participating in Ludum Dare and hopefully my third successful one. Ludum Dares have consistently proven to be both the most enjoyable and most miserable weekends of my life, but it’s always exciting.
IDE: Stencyl
Music & SFX: Logic Pro X, SFXR, Audacity, Korg M50 Keyboard
Graphics: Photoshop
Make a good game and learn some valuable stuff that I can apply to future projects.

I’ll be using the HaxePunk library, a FlashPunk port to AS3. For art, probably Paint.NET. Pixitracker for possible music and Bfxr for sound effects.
I’ll also be using my HXP-Resizable library, which I use to facilitate easy letterboxing in HaxePunk.
https://github.com/Anheurystics/HXP-Resizable
I tried and failed during the “10 Seconds” Ludum Dare, but I’m ready to try again. I’ll be using the Phaser HTML5 framework and coding it in javascript. My goal this time is to make an extremely simple game and actually attempt to make art, sound and music.
Going to be streaming the whole thing (most likely) over on Twitch, so pumped….
Most likely going to be going with LibGDX with a simplification library and Photoshop for graphics, we shall see how things go… Good luck to eveyone
For my first ludumdare i will use dartlang
Because we are.
LD #29 will be our fifth Ludum Dare participation and we are very excited awaiting for the theme. ^^
Our toolbox:
Good luck to everyone!
Minutes left, and forgot to post my tools…
i will be using the same tools as last time:
Aside from CitrusEngine and Starling i am adding some publicly available utilities i wrote last time, they are in the src folder of my LD28 project. Most notably, the TiledBackgound class and the ShapeConverter class.
my son (enderosc) is using Scratch for his game
OK, good luck all!
I’m In!
Code: Eclipse + Java
Art: Paint.NET
Music: Abundant-Music.com
SFX: SFXR
Libraries: LWJGL, PNGDecoder, JOGG/JOrbis, possibly JInput
For this competition, I created a single .java file that makes using OpenGL/OpenAL/JInput easier and faster. I call it the Swift Game Library (or SwiftGL for short)
Download it here! : https://www.dropbox.com/s/f107dtippx9hee9/Swift.java
Hello lads,
I’m pretty glad to participate for the 4th time to this wonderful event!
I’ll be doing the compo and staying at my friend’s place close to Paris for the next couple of days.
—————————————————————————————————-
Probable Tools :
Photoshop/Illustrator
Unity 4.3
Ableton Live/ Bfxr
I’ll also certainly use the State Machine framework from Unity Gems that you can find here
—————————————————————————————————-
I wish you all good luck, and to make an awesome game!
Nuff said.
Using C#, maybe the new SIMD stuff that got released to CTP this month.
No idea on anything else.
*FXR for sound of course.
Will probably ignore the theme (JAM style) and spin the rule-o-matic @ http://speedhack.allegro.cc/rule-o-matic/spin

This will be my first time doing ludum dare, and weirdly, my bday is tomorrow… so hopefully that brings me luck.

Doing Game Jam solo because I’m using some existing assets and code.
Java Monkey Engine, Blender, Music Creator 6, potentially GIMP or Photoshop CS6.
I hope you’re allowed to use Game Maker
Ok, it’s not our fault that FROM decided to launch Dark Souls II on PC just a day before LD. Prioritising it over our own sleep and other needs, yeah, we may be the ones to blame for that. Either way, here we are again! Two brothers going on a marathon to create a game in 72h and then finish Dark Souls II before fainting and hibernating for a week! Last time we didn’t do too bad, as we made a complete game, so let’s see if we can do better… or (hopefully not!) worse!
As with the previous time, we’re going to use:
Again, we’ll make use of resources from:
Finally, we’ll make use of other sites to help us in general.
We’ll try to make updates as we go, but due to time constraints, it may not happen at all!
PS: We’ll be hosting our game / site on http://nope.hol.es/blog/ , so you’re all welcome to come have a look to see it grow!
I’ve developed javascript html 5 utilitary classes during my warmup.
I will use this code as a base for my ludum dare compo, don’t hesitate to pick info in it if you want: https://bitbucket.org/vcarluer/1gam0414/src/1615dade427c6cb44893b626828089e68de3071a/src2/?at=master
coded:
image loader
audio loader
event factory
canvas loader
simple tmx file reader
simple translation service
main loop update service
A sprite renderer
And some reference code like tweening, etc…
Have fun with ld 29!
-side my apartment. The theme is pretty neutral, hopefully some kind of inspiration will strike. Have fun, people!
So far having a lot of fun brainstorming for this one. Things are flowing out pretty easily and they all (seem) doable.
So lets see how this goes.
