I’m In: 10 hour compo!!
Been looking forward to giving this another go, but due to coursework/partying/racing/dating I only have 10 hours to make a game! Going to have to remind myself at 2am that I need to keep it simple! Bring on the challenge!!!

Attempting the Jam this time as I want to do a collaborative thing and have slightly less time pressure/stress. We’re hoping to do something narrative based this time and currently have no fixed toolset. AGS or Twine might be the way to go or maybe Renpy. We want to make the thing as code-light as we can to concentrate on the other aspects in the limited time. Good luck everyone! Looking forward to playing all the new-born games!
All set up for this.

First time doing this, MrPlatypus and I tried the miniLD last week using CraftStudio. Couldn’t finish the project, but we made a brain walk to a library =)

Hello! My name is Eric Neuhaus and I’m super excited to be participating in Ludum Dare for the first time. I’ve been making games using Construct 2 with assets by my super talented artist friend Colin Greenhalgh (and a few other collaborators on occasion) for about a year now, under the banner “Virtually Competent“. I’ve only participated in one game jam in that time (Flappy Jam), but I had blast doing it (you can play my entry on itch.io here).
I look forward to jamming alongside all of you talented people!
Uh oh, it’s that time again: Ludum Dare!
I’m in!
Last time I didn’t finish. I bit off more than I could chew and started to not like the direction I went in late in development. This time will be different.
I’m using Photoshop, Maya, Unity 3D, Visual Studio 2013, FL Studio, Audacity, bfxr, and my iPhone to record sounds.
I just have to get Unity to show that damn snowman symbol…
Have fun. Let’s do this!!!!
This will be my seventh LD but will go for the jam with my significant other Nina for the second time.
I’ll do the programming using artemis-odb and libgdx while Nina is going to create the graphics. Maybe we’ll make use of Spine for animations this time. I’d love to finaly make a multiplayer game for a LD but we’ll see what the theme will be.
We are hoping for
Wish you all a lot of fun!
Hi !

It’s time for the mandatory “I’m in” pre-compo post! This time I’ll be entering into the Jam, with our little 3 person team working at the google campus in london, so huge thanks to Liz for organising the event!
Since this will be a team effort, I’ve put my custom engine to one side for this one and we’ll be using Unity instead, as hopefully that’ll mean less waiting around for me while I get the programming done. Of course I may have shot myself in the foot there as I’m not hugely familiar with unity, and even less familiar with it’s 2d and new UI stuff.
Goals for this Jam:
1. Get something playable and fun.
2. Get something with some proper levels, content and art.
3. Proper menus & flow.
4. Maaaaybe some sound fx.
5. Take lots of screenshots over time for a low-tech timelapse.
Good luck everyone!

“This theme is lame, I’m gonna make one about a snowman”
Hi everyone,
Not much to say, this is my first Ludum with a friend of mine, I’m super excited and I hope we’ll manage to produce something at least semi-playable.
We’ll probably use either OpenFL with Photoshop or Unity with Blender, depending on what we come up with.
