This was an interesting LD for sure. My partner ditched me during the second day (shame on him) but surprisingly it did not end up with a disaster. I had to scrap some gameplay ideas yet I had time for all the core things. I went for a D&D adventure vibe map, simple resource management and generic but hopefully not boring fantasy story. Check it out here!

Seems like we bit off a little more than we could chew this time, we won’t be able to finish our game until the deadline. 
Still, we had lots of fun coding and drawing and creating animal sounds. 
We’ll shure keep on working on our game! And now that we don’t have the stress of finishing in time, there are plenty of cool features on our list waiting to be put into it!

We just finished our first Ludum Dare game, Verdunfell. You play as a druid who has to fight off the goblins trying to cut down his precious trees. You can shapeshift between human and wolf forms, with different attacks for each.
We planned to put in other forms and a ton of other features but are pretty happy with the final result. Look forward to reading all the feedback and rating everyone else’s games!

Hi guys,
After these three (hards) days here is our submission for the Ludum Dare 35!! The game name is “Is this a dog?”. The main plot is that you are a sorcerer who is testing his last invention a sheep”dog” for monsters! As of now the sheep”dog” is still in training so it will only follow you floating hand… You need to teach him to park the monsters in their respectives portals before they reach the sheep”dog”.There is no ending in the game, the goal is simply to reach the higher score you can !

Well.. First off I can’t believe I forgot to post status updates the whole time. Well, lessoned learnt I’ll do it next time.
I managed to finish my game and as bad as the art may be I am very happy with my game other than the obvious lack of content and non-existence of sound effects and music.
I really enjoyed this first time and hope to participate next time as well.
