I’m in!

This’ll be my second Ludum Dare and I’m hoping this time I’ll be far more prepared.

Good luck to everyone!

o/

I’m in

I’ve got 3 different platform choices:

  • pure JavaScript/HTML5 (like LD33, LD#31 and MiniLD#53)
  • Ionic – and possible toss in some cordova plugins for mobile sensors (like LD#32)
  • Unity/C# – I’m a novice on unity, so I probably won’t go for it.

What I pick depend on the theme and what kind of game I’ll like to develop which I can only decide once I know the theme.

If you liked my Sim Tower inspired game from LD#33, I have improved on it since LD. (save/load, lobby, block building, resizable elevators, better mouse and keyboard input)

We’re joining!

We’ll be using Unity3D!

One of these days I’ll find an engine that suits me instead of writing it from scratch. I’ve always wanted to do a LD with Unity or Unreal Engine :)

LudumDare – Remastered HD

Welcome my friends.

After the 2 years hiatus I decided to have another go at the LudumDare,
where our sleep deprivation tolerance and bug avoiding skills will be yet again put to the test.

Toolbox:
Engine : Unity3d 5.3.x
Language : C#
Music IDE: FL Studio 11, Bfxr
GFX: Gimp, Inkscape
Editing: Notepad++

Also with this post I would like to recommend a great resource list for gamedev for everyone who hasn’t seen it yet:

Good luck!

Im In!

Hey everyone I’m in again. Last Ludum Dare I couldn’t make up The time having my one year old son with a fever. Hope my kids grant me some coding time today!

Engine: Godot

I love Godot!

Or pico-8

Ableton Live, or MilkyTracker or LSDJ

Have a great one!

My UI Lib

I am most likely going to be using my UI lib called “smoothui” that I’ve been building for Love2D 0.10. Due to technicalities in the LD compo rules, I have to make this public before I can use it, so… tadaa. Documentation is nonexistant, but that will change. The code is a mess (and also not consistent) so if you’re going to be use it… bless your soul.

Im in for ld35

hi all, it is my on the fourth time for ludumdare with score of 2 complete and one miss.

Hope this time i will finish the game..

Tools chains planned

Krita, paint.net, Blender, Lmms, Audacity

Game engine i am going to decide based on the which game i am developing. Choices are Unity for 3D ; libGdx or Phaser for 2D games.

This time based on my theme choice ie if it is a multiplayer game then i will use NodeJS for my game. NodeJS and Phaser are new for me, it will be like learning on developing.

Also i am looking for artist, if any one interested ping @paruthidotexe

All the best guys !!!

Well, I’m in

I’m in. This is my… I forget how many times I’ve done this now. Fifth or sixth time, I think. Some successes, some failures. Here’s some links to previous entries:

I didn’t finish LD32 and I can’t find any of the earlier ones. I did manage to find Escape from Plan 9, which wasn’t a Ludum Dare compo, but was a month long contest of some sort. You can probably tell I didn’t do the artwork for that.

my friend is in!

he was too lazy to post so i did it for him even though he didn’t say to

yay

I’m in.

I’ll be doing the 72 hour jam, and this time my brother will join me.

We’ll be using the Love2D/LÖVE framework, so the result will be playable on more platforms than last time.

Tools:

  • Notepad++ for Lua coding
  • Aseprite for art
  • SFXR and/or Audacity for sounds
  • BeepBox or LMMS for music
  • Possibly some hastily made custom tools for map editing and animation sequences

I’m happy to have at least somewhat recovered from a long period of poor motivation. Feels good to be able to do something productive again. Now, here’s hoping my cat will let me sleep properly during the jam! Probably not.

Awesome set, have a nice weekend!

I’m in

This time probably again with Unity

I’m in!

Hi!

This is my third Ludum Dare!

I’m a musician, I do not know code.

I programmed my first game with Unity and Fungus for the Ludum Dare 34 with a graphic designer friend.

For the Ludum Dare 35 I’m going to make a video game by my own because it’s crazy and I’m crazy. So It’s perfect.

Do I’ll survive? I don’t know. I don’t care.

Good luck everyone!

It’s time

It’s time to do this.  I am ready to participate in my first 72 hour game jams.  My tools are updated, and my beer is chilled.  Lets do this!

I’m in

Not sure yet how much time I can put into this LD but I’ll try to do something with unity. Looking forward for a nice theme. There are some I like quite a lot in the final round 😀

I’m in!

Well, I’m in for the second time, hope I will finish this time x)

The Cabbage Lord is in

It’s me, Cabbage Lord 2016, and I’m here today to create for you the finest selection of cabbage based games in existence.  Have you ever seen a cabbage based game?  No?  That’s probably because I scared off all the other cabbage game designers!  F E A R M Y W R A T H
