First Ludum Dare - been wanting to join for a year! Stoked to get to work on my game - using Unity, Photoshop, and Zbrush if there’s time. GL all! :)
Using Unity for my second Ludum Dare! Let's have fun
So, we begin again.
My poison of choice this time around is Urho3D, hopefully using Lua this time. Art tools include Krita and Blender as necessary, and if I'm really doing well, I may integrate some generated music from Abundant Music.
This theme reminds me a lot of LD 23 (Tiny World) which was my first Ludum Jam. It'll be interesting to take another shot at it (I know... Tiny != Small but Tiny - Small <= small difference).
Good luck to everyone!
This is my third Ludum Dare, I am working in a team consisting of me (programmer, and audio), and my friend decaxon (modeling and graphics).
We will be working in our 3D/2D game engine, Flounder ( https://github.com/mattparks/Flounder-Engine ). Music will be recorded from a piano and edited in Audacity. Modeling will be done with blender, and textures in paint.NET.
Good luck, time to jam!
With ma team.
I've already hashed out a game mechanic I've been wanting to explore, but working in the theme "Small World" is gonna be super tricky...
The mechanic is a minimalist RPG where the combat is handled like a turn-based game with menus, but without pauses or breaks in the action!
Fight an unyielding onslaught of enemies 'till death and hit the high-score!
Maybe it's a small world in that you fight the same enemies again and again? A small world in that you're a small person in a world of big beings?
I have about a million things to do this weekend, and I guess I'm adding 'write a video game' to the list. My second LD. I have zero ideas. It's late. Assuming I can come up with something, it'll be in Phaser. I heart Phaser.
First Ludum. Very excited to make something.
It's my 10th Ludum Dare and 2nd compo entry! Going 'hard' mode :)
Tools: - Unity - Blender - Sublime Text

Still organizing the main idea and see if the scope won't kill me inside the 48h deadline.
Looking to be using LibGDX and Java again, this time in the 48 hour solo comp. Have an idea that I want to try out, though no idea how it will actually play. Looking forward to trying to jam the theme into the idea somehow, haha.
Morning everyone!
This is my first time participating in LudumDare. Will challenge to do everything from a scatch, but in 48 hours?hmmm...quite interesting for a solo developer. XDDD Maybe end up in Jam.
See you in Monday!
My goal this time is to use UE4 instead of using my framework working with Love2d/Drystal game engine.
As my first LD was a strategy game, I will try to take another try on this field! Not too inspired by the theme, but it's a wide one, so we should all be able to build something fun enough!
Good luck everyone
Unity programmer, Inkscape artist! Once more into the fray!
don't let the germs in.
First LD, not my first jam. Got an idea, so I'm going to roll with that :D
My team and I are in. We'll be using Unity. This'll be our first LD, and we're looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
I'm in... I think? If this is how one does this sort of thing...
I've never actually participated so this whole experience is going to be an adventure! I'm more than likely going to churn out a pile of utter garbage, but it's going to be a blast!
I'll be using libGDX... and that's about it I think?
Good luck out there, lovelies!!! :3 <3
Goin' solo! Using Phaser.js as per usual.
Some tips on maintaining balance while jamming.
Good luck everyone!
