Let's go!

I'm gonna make an 'evil' one who wants to rule this small world. I'm talking about my cat, my master who named Doggy. Yes, you see it. Doggy.

My home is just a tiny room in this massive universe, but it's the whole world of Doggy. I can actually feel that she wants to rule this world every single day, by whatever method she can think of. I'm gonna give her this game humbly as a preset, making her the ruler of the world.

It's a small but unpeaceful world.:stuckouttongueclosedeyes:

Alright, it seems like making a round little planet game was a little too obvious, but I’ll stick to that idea anyway.

I want it to be an exploration based game with a day and night cycle of actual celestial bodies moving around the planet. You have to find items to explore further. Let’s see how far I can take this concept. I hope it’s not too ambitious for 48 hours.

Yet another first timer, here goes nothing...

Got some stuff down. My idea looks great, hopefully I'm still energetic about it in the morning.

First time my friend and I are entering Ludum Dare and we're very excited!

6:40, just got out of the shower, and ready to start coding. I had an Alarm at 3:04 am to see the Theme, and already came up with a reasonable idea. It doesn't have to much art, so I should be good. But since this is my first ludumdare I can't judge if it will be doable. Let's hope for the best...

I'm in, and I'll be using a language I've never used before: Go. So I'm using a language I don't know, with an engine I don't know (I'll either use raylib-go or Ebiten, depending on which is easier to setup/use), and I've got a few other commitments this weekend...what could possibly go wrong?

Came up with a corny concept and a general idea of the game’s design. Time to sleep on it and think over it a little more.

So unfortunately I can't go all out on this, my first Ludum Dare, and I guess it's a good thing the theme is a small world. But I think one of the biggest things I want to push for in this is that there can be a lot to do in a small world.

I'm in! But I'm definitely struggling with coming up with something unique for the theme. Hopefully will have a solid idea before going to bed tonight.
