A Little Forklift

Meet the future Ms Fergie Forker, an ambitious little forklift with hopes and dreams of perfectly packing a warehouse; but, all of them to be smashed on the floor because of terrible driving mechanics.

I'm using the Godot VehicleBody node for the first time, so it's been an interesting night; especially while combining the VehicleBody with operating fork lift mechanics. :D

Fuf, I'm worked 16 hours straight...

So I'm making 96 animations(that was painful), character movement, pickups, doors, 2 levels, some not enough space game mechanics, left to do 8 or so levels, main menu, promo images, load game on itch.io, code on bitbucket and that's it. For now, I'm not really told much about my game, let this be a surprise for all of you when I'm releasing it. :P

Terrible idea I just had

A game where you perform common actions such as jumping and opening doors by pressing the space bar, but you are only allowed a limited amount of presses for each level. You are technically running out of "space (bar presses)", so it fits the theme in a punny and clever way. The issue is that this game cannot have rebindable controls or it might no longer fit the theme.

Added enemies

Forgive me for being stupid T_T

It is a turn-based simulation game. When I finished design phase, I just realized that I should think less. Forgive me for being stupid T_T Main Scene.jpg

Progress Report!

Most of the gameplay is here! Just need to add a boss fight. Maybe a way for highscores to be saved. Need to add more shapes, make the menus, and polish all of the game, compose some music. Oh, and I need to iron out all the bugs my playtesters find too.

Easy.

I'm not making the game I want to make

Man, this LD is hard... I've got the time, I'm all set up with my tools, but the theme just pushed me in a direction where I now am stuck making a game I don't really enjoy making.

Sure, I'm learning stuff just by building this game - I'm not really a Python/PyGame pro, so I can use the exercise - but the game itself is kinda meh...

More progress on Humans Need Space

After the spaceship we added a fire animation for the trusters, besides that i began to work and drawn multiple planets and this is one of them! After a short break i am going to add more planets and @ayxs will be refining the gameplay mechanics.

Starting over

I, like so many others, am starting over as well; was coding most of the mechanics of my game and realised it is way too hard for me to finish this, or at least get a working version in time.... So now I'm starting over and making a simpler game; wish me luck :v:

Amaranth

After restart this is what I got

So I decided to scrap my original idea, resulting in a loss of about 3 hours of work.

Now I've been working for 3 more, and this is what I've got... Pretty happy with it!

Now I'm gonna take a break and watch a game of Soccer

I need GameMaker Studio user's advice.

Hey, fellow gamemakers! I Have a tiny problem. When I use Mouse Pressed and Mouse Released for certain buttons, mouse release doesn't always work. Could anyone help? 5f4dded088dfa43b9e12657c0cd3503e.gif Last click has that problem.

Some art gifs.

No idea what the game is yet though...
