The idea : You are on a spaceship and need to take off from a planet of poop throwing monkeys.
But you are running out of fuel. Luckily monkey feces add 10 fuel points to keep you going!

Just have to add some sprites, balance things out and create failure and win states and we're done! This is the first things are actually going well and I am loving it!
The title says it "all" pretty much :P Go here for room cleaning action:
The first RC Robot is nearly ready for deployment! Any suggestions for the name?

On the dark side, we have some research on the combat gameplay progressing rather smoothly. Unity-chan has gracefully donated herself to the cause.

Also, one of our programmers is super into Comic Sans, we may have to part ways soon.

Going OK! Still a lot to add though to have a game...

We are back for our second LD, of course way better prepared (but still underprepared, i had to conclude). Let's see where this goes, the concept is fun so far and the graphics are cuuute :D

So the basic idea was to make a platformer where running costs fuel, and each jump costs fuel, and try to build puzzles around that. Don't know how interesting it's really going to be, hopefully I can make some cool levels. I'm still debating how expensive jumps should be, since the primary mechanic is the cost of jumps vs. running... ech.

Let's see how this goes!
PC broke down middle of game development, so it unfortunately looks like I'll be missing out on my first Ludum Dare... again.
I think I'm done programming for today. Might do some music and sound efects but no new features untill tomorrow.
Here's what I have so far:
A snazzy logo (and an intro stage)
and 1 level.

An important part of our game is this barrier, and you really don't want it to break :)

I'm in all the time, i was working quietly and i'm very excited. First jam, the feeling that you are making something, a product. Keep good work and have fun!
GODOT ENGINE
I know you guys are all probably busy on your own games which is understandable, however if you have the time I'd love if you could try out my game and give me feedback.
I added items to my game! The battery of life can now be recharged because of that!

After 9 hours of streaming, this is what I got so far! :moviecamera: :videogame: https://twitter.com/9chuckeles9/status/891377783099846657
Watch the full stream over here :gear: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/162813881.
I learned a lot during the stream: I need to talk louder, pronounce better, work faster, etc. Tomorrow it will be better!

Most of the boilerplate code is now up and running.
Some of the "real" graphics is in place, but the game's still not really playable... :-/

A little late to the show, but my daughter, son and I are all in. Can't wait to see what we create.
