Ludum Dare 45 October 4–7, 2019

im in for the tenth time

Do people even do theese anymore, im using construct have a good LD

We're in and you cannot stop us!

We're going to create something!

Not big, not great, but ours! That's all that matters.

I'm in

I'll probably use bare-bones Javascript and HTML again, to keep it simple. Good luck everyone.

I'm In.

But I have no idea what kind of a game I'll be doing, except: It'll likely be written in Javascript. It won't be 3D (which I'd prefer), but might be 2D or even text-only. I do plan to use a medium that many of you are likely to be able to use: Javascript, I may have a few hours (if I'm lucky) to try out tools before the jam starts. I have done a single phaser tutorial. But that's very little javascript experience.

For the first time ever, I'm in.

I've never made a game in three days, so it's an ultimate test of my abilities. Kinda scared.

This is my first game jam!

I've never done a game jam before, so I'm loking forward to giving this a go! Gonna be making somethin with my brother, should be a fun as heck weekend!

It's going to be hard to divorce my brain from mechanics that already exist in other games, could be a challenge to come up with something new.

I'm ready to take part of Ludum Dare 45!

Yey, time is come for my 5th Ludun Dare event. I'm hope to make something cool this time!

As always I'm will use: - Unity - Aseprite - Bosca Ceol - Bfxr - Audacity - Notepad++ - Trello

and ofcouse

Some fantasy and creativity!

Good luck everyone! Have fun in this jam :D

First LD, Third Jam

Going to be my first Ludum Dare and my third jam. I'm a programmer, but I can still do some art. Looking forward to having a fun piece at the end of this that I can show to my friends. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Peace out from Canada

Participating in Compo

Here goes nothing. BTW does the compo start the same day and our as the jam?

... Fight the Good Fight

Devs of Ludum Dare, hear me! The enemy stands before you, and they wait. Demotivation. Life Interrupted. Sickness. Stress. Anxiety. A terrible theme. All manners of vile and villainous demons await to thwart us from glory. I assure you coder, artist, musician, designer, animator, writer, and sound engineer alike, they wait for you, they wait for us! When you go forth into battle this weekend and face your rekoning... when we face our rekoning... realize, some of us may fall. I dread for our fates, for what may come. I dread for those who shall lay scarred and beaten. Proud Devs of Ludum Dare, may you never see yourself in such a precarious position! But, should you find yourself beaten and bruised and unable to push forward, remember, it is better to have fallen in glory than to have done nothing. Devs of Ludum Dare, hear me! Do not let folly and cowardice sway you from battle! Do not let the Demons of Life tear you from destiny! Do not let the advocates of failure lure you to dwell in the City of Quit! Those of you who stand and fight, you may feel alone, but scroll up and scroll down, you are not alone! Side by side, above and below, we stand strong in the face of battle and we will all fight the good fight until there is nothing else to be done but either fall to the enemy before us or see the light of the Submit Button at the end of the battle!

We are the Devs of Ludum Dare!

We shall see the fight to the end!

We shall overcome this weekend!

We shall see Submission of our games!

Now, prepare for battle!

We are in!

My first Ludum Dare, I'm hyped and scared at the same time.

A couple of friends decided to join this LD with me. 2 designers and one biologist — he'll be our ~~coffee-guy~~ idea-guy. He's good Dungeon Master, I have high hopes for him.

I'll be programming in Rust using ggez. (I'm not making things easier for myself, am I?)
Our designer duo will be using Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and DragonBones. (Don't ask me why they need so many programs.)
Our idea-guy will be using his imagination.

Ultimately, none of us have any experience in making games, so, we hope to learn a lot and, fingers crossed, at least make something playable.

Good luck, everyone.

I join again with you, brave adventurers ...

Here are some weapons that may allow me to defeat the untameable beast of unlikely theme, the infamous lack of imagination, the sneaky fatigue and the fatefully incomplete project : papers and pen, Notepad++, Unity, Visual Studio, Affinity Designer & Photo, Sketchup, Audacity.

I'm in, my second ld.

So I'm in, here I've seen people post the tools they'll use so, Game Engine: Unity Art: Paint.net / photoshop Coding: Microsoft Studio Music: Bosca ceoil Sound Effects: n/a / undecided

Brushing up

Haven't competed in Ludum Dare in 2 years and only started brushing up on blender and unity a few days ago! But still super psyched to participate!!! Going to be so much fun! Good luck everyone!
