This is my first post this LD, because it was quite a messy one. It wasn’t clear if my friends could help me out with art and music, but I ended up making a solo game, which is also fun, because I haven’t done the compo before, only the jam.
Now I am proud to announce that my LD 37 compo entry is done! It is already evening where I live, so I will go to bed after this post, but I am happy I am done!
I had this terrible, game-breaking bug and was about throwing the towel. And then it kinda worked out. Congrats to everyone who finished in time. Cheers!

Just finished my compo entry for Ludum Dare 37. This was my second Ludum Dare, and hot damn, I learned a lot from last time.

I have really messed this up but I have 3 hours left and there is not gameplay. Things look good compared to other games I have made but you can’t play it. I will be impressed if I can actually pull this off.
Finally done with Santa’s Little bin packer!
Happy with how it turned out! Wish I had a little more time left for some more polishing, juicing, bug fixes etc!

The graphics are better than I expected to get them.. but could be way better. The only build available is for Windows. Game Maker Professional is required to compile for the other platforms.

Nothing worked as planned this time.
First one of my screens broke, so I had to do everything on one screen. I’m totally not used to that and it made things really complicated.
I had no idea what kind of Game I would create for the first hours. I think I decided on a concept about 18 hours in. In the afternoon today, I ran into problems and my concept didn’t really work – I created too many sloppy workarounds, which made my game unplayable. I had to change my concept but tried to keep as much code as possible. I managed to finish the game but sadly without sound or music; also there are still some bugs I’m too lazy to fix, because I’ve to go to bed now. I’m happy that I’ve a playable result and I’m also happy that it’s over. If you like, check our my entry, but don’t expect too much 😉
I wish everyone good luck with their participation. I might not be satisfied with my game but I know that I’ll love a lot of yours!

The game is a top down, action adventure game with procedural and roguelike elements. You take on the role of an adventurer who must venture into an ancient Egyptian burial chamber to stop the evil within from escaping to the surface.
