This will be my third Ludum dare, so I guess when this is over I can say i’ve done it for a whole year…wow time flies.
The tools I will be using are…
Unity – i’ll be scripting with C# this time, instead of JavaScript like my other Ludum dares.
Blender – For any 3d models I do.
Gimp – for 2d images
Bfxr – for sound effects
Audacity – for any other sound effects I record in real life.
Sonvox – If I do any music, which I doubt I will, but you never know, maybe i’ll get really ambitious.
I feel very ready, I did a Easter jam a last week for practice, and what I came up with was quite large and complicated for me. (http://www.kongregate.com/games/shatley/e-day)
I can’t wait!
Another question: are games using the provided assets (that come with Cryengine ) like sounds, particle sprites, sounds, models, textures etc eligible for the dare or would this count as premade content and force the entry to the Jam section?
