I'm in
Yep, most of my game development recently has been in some nice low level C++, so a return to C# and Unity might be a breath of fresh air.

Limited time this weekend but Im in! May be more of a 24 hr jam but still worthwhile! Using GMS2 and FLStudio. Best of luck, happy voting!
I want to get comfortable with doing 3D stuff with WebGL, so will use babylon.js as my renderer this time. I think the rules used to state that you have to declare your base code, so mine is just the messy Babylon test code I've been prepping with.
Since I have family, I'll only have about 10 hours to make a game, but will do my best.
This is gonna be our first game jam  and I am really excited. Wish us luck!

Hey, that means I'll have participated in half of all LD's! Neato.
Can I make characters for the jame?
Getting so stoked! Took the weekend off work and everything. Let's see what I can cobble together...
I am a 2D artist, and I am looking for a team. This is the first time I attend the Ludum Dare, and I am new for the game jam. So I am not sure what kind of artists are needed. Please feel free to reach me to know whether what I am drawing can fit what you would like to expect. You can contact me through the email : wanh111111@163.com(prefer), or Twitter: @five_fiveyeah.
Anyone wavering between "I can do anything" and "I'm probably making another junk"?
If by in, you mean "will quit the compo about 15 minutes after the theme is announced", then yes, I'm in :)
This is always aspirational for me. Tired-ass dad life never leaves me with enough energy to Ludum Dare. Sometime the LD should run from Monday->Wednesday so we can all start fresh-faced after a relaxing weekend :) (Err, those of us that work M-F, at least...)

As per tradition and to keep me busy while waiting, here is a wallpaper for the LD48; I like to keep a clean empty background to help focus.
(feel free to use it for anything legal)

I'm planning to join solo this time, let's see how this goes! Decided to make a wallpaper again, we have a nice number this time, would be a shame to miss the chance.

I finally get to do one again! (hopefully, but this time I planned it a little bit)
I will most likely be using Elm, my favorite programming language these days, either with plain HTML, SVG, or WebGL (2D or 3D, maybe?).
EDIT: I just checked and my last participation was in 2014 :o http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/niavlys/
Hey All,
Red Owl Games is back again for our 6th consecutive LDJAM! We are a husband and wife team who love to make co-op games together to play together. Checkout some of our previous co-op works here - https://redowlgames.com/projects/
We are really looking forward to this jam and hope you all are too! As usual, here is our LD 48 splash screen (using the wonderful font from @pov - https://github.com/mikekasprzak/font-ludum-dairy) which you can use for your games too. We look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with and hope you will checkout what co-op game we come up with this time.

I have created a game jam template for Unity users! Instead of worrying about a main menu, simple settings like volume or a pause menu, you can just work on your game!
Focus on your game, not the menus! It is completely free and you can change whatever you want!
https://hunterson-studio.itch.io/game-jam-template
With the main menu you can go directly go to your game, settings or quit the game.
You can even change the credits, name and the link to your gam's page!

The settings menu has some simple options like changing the fullscreen mode, resolution and volume.
Everything is super simple and you can change the look and code however you want!

And in your game's scene, you can simply drag the pause menu prefab and you have a pause menu.
The game will freeze and you can go back to the menu or quit the game completely.

And i can't wait!
I'm doing some practice trying to make a cute game any suggestions. :smiley_cat:
