I'm in! (part 10)
10th time in a row, and 7th with my great m8 @raffe ! Hoping to make a game again, but most importantly: have fun.
Best of luck to y'all, let's make this historical 48th LD one to remember!

Using Unity, Pyxel Edit,(maybe) Blender, Photoshop and some sort of sound tool. Also: I have no idea what I'm doing. Never finished a game in my my life! So here's to having fun and learning new things! Wait what's an array again? Help!
Have a good time everyone!
First game jam ever!
I've done a few game jams now and I've spent the past year getting better at programming so I'm eager to get started!
I was really surprised recently when I decided to look into the 2D HTML5 canvas - it's surprisingly good! Very concise and effective API and plenty fast for my needs. Would recommend!
Tools I'm going to use: - Javascript/HTML5 (The language) - Paint.NET (The art) - Gvim (The code) - A few random sound packs I've picked up (The sounds) - 1BITDRAGON music editor, or some premade stuff TBD (The music) - My brain (The ideas)
Good luck everyone!
Hello! I've "participated" a few times, never submitted a game (actually, I've never posted here either!), but it's always fun to think about game ideas and try to make something in time :)
My goal in this one is not very ambitious, I mean I'll try to finish my game this time but I'm just aiming to rescue back the thrill I've used to have for making games, and have a lot of fun in the process.
I'll be using Unity (C#), maybe aseprite or krita for graphics, and I have no clue about sound/music. I'm going for Compo.
I also wish all of you the best of luck and I'm really glad we have this kind of event! Cheers!
Second time jammer here. Looking forward to a weekend of not knowing what I'm doing.
Anyways, time to start brainstorming some ideas on the finalist theme lineup! Gotta be prepared!

🎨 Art: Aseprite
🎼 Music: Bosca Ceoil
Let's Go!
PyCharm Pygame First gamejam!
I'm so excited for this! This is the first game jam I've ever been on, and the themes are matching with the main idea for my game!
The tools I'm gonna use are: - Construct 3 LD48 Edition (as the main engine) (NEVER F*ING MIND WITH C2 I DISCOVERED THEM LUDUM DEALS) - Aseprite 1.2.25 (for them graphics) - Bosca Ceoil (for the tuney tunes) - CLIP STUDIO PAINT (for additional sprites)
See you in 12 hours and good luck everyone!
First Timer.

One year later, I'm in! This is going to be my sixth LD (first time on 2011, with a different account).
Tools: - Godot - Blender - LMMS, Audacity - Krita, Gimp, Photoshop - ScreenToGif - OBS
I'll make a low-res, PS1 or N64 like 3D game! As always

See y'all.
First ludum dare, looking forward to it!
Time to use 48 hours of my life to make something mediocre

Totally back! Motivated and ready.. This past year couldn't join for family stuff and work, but this week, i will make a cool game
I hope some of you make a game that's so good that you never need to worry about money again!
One of the themes in the final round is Containment. As a foreign and non native english speaker, I have no idea what is that. I tried google and a dictionary it it doesn't make it a lot clearer.
Is it like a barricade to avoid something to spread? Thank you!
