hello, this is my first ever gamejam and I'm really excited to try it out. I've been making short little games since I was a kid and I think its time to elevate that into a more finished product. I haven't decided on all of my tools yet but I will probably be using aseprite for graphics. I'm super excited to take part in the jam. good luck to everyone :)

Right now I'm sitting at 1-1 on finishing these. Can we pull into the lead with this one?

I have done the compo a few times already (6 apparently), but now for the first time I'll be working in a team of 2, together with @filgru! Looking forward to it!

On the programming side I'll be using Phaser 3, as I'm quite familiar with Javascript already.

Hellooooooooooooo people of Ludum Dare As my first game jam ever I'm extremely anxious and generally don't know what to do. I trained a lot in these two last weekends and hope to conjugate school and chores with ludum dare. I'm really happy I decided to participate with my team of friends (@th3re4l @geppythecat @nik-5 @l4p0k7ck @icronitar we're all like 16 or 17 y/o btw) and never expected before to take part of something this big. Hope this will be the beginning of something great.

Happy to join Ludum Dare 48 in a dream team of 6 talented women :heart_eyes: It's 4 coders with different expirience and 2 artists: Azaliya, Natalia, Sasha, Lisa, Nastya and me, Zhanna!

Here's what Natalia says:

"I have always wanted to participate in a game jam but I was afraid that I won’t have enough time. I’m a mom of a very active 4 year old boy who thinks that both my notebook and my iPad should be his not mine. But this year I decided to give it a try, mostly as a second artist. I'm not an artist, actually I’m a web developer, but I took two online drawing courses last year, and have always been interested in making art projects. So we’ll see if I’ll be any use for our team."

Protip: Remember to make your meals in advance so you don't have to waste time cooking during the jam.

The last time I participated was in 2016, all alone for 72 hours. This time around I have two people backing me up, one of which an amazingly great artist, the other a mind blowingly good programmer. Now let's hope we will get some sleep over the coming days.

We will be using just two tools we've never used before:

• Procreate

I previously participated once for a MiniLD and once for the jam on the old site.

Going to try out Pico-8 for the first time, so I'm just now going through a quick tutorial. The plan is to also use pico-8's editors for sound and graphics, but we'll see what I manage to do.
