Obeya Expansion: Rule 13, No Samsung Default Alarm.

And no, it's not my first Ludum Dare, it's just that I created new profile because I couldn't change username on the old one. I actually was participating in LD50 and 51. Well, anyway, I'm Hasmile, 18 years old, from Ukraine.
I wanted to use libGDX, but I had no time to even nearly finish up the template ~~(university takes a lot of time apparently)~~, so it seems like I'll be sticking to Godot this time. I hope that web export is good in 4.3.
Anyway, good luck to everyone!

Here is my textured hello cube running on PS1 emulator! I think I can morph this into a game!
Who needs physics engines or model importers.
This month is going to be wild with lots and lots of projects in the making, but either way I'm planning on participating in LD56
For the 4th time in a row (last time I didn't manage to finish the project, better luck this time I guess)

Hi
I just wanted to let you know that due to recent developments in my personal life, I am yet again able to join the Ludum Dare game jam. However, I might not make a giraffe game this time around. I think it's time to discover a new side of me.
Thank you for reading my importnatn updaet.
We're in! This'll be our 24th Ludum Dare together as a team, and what an adventure it's been! As per usual the squad consists of: * Rosypenguin on art * Strega on code * Tenlki on music
Want a taste of game development from our point of view? Look no further than our past entry, Game Name! Play here

Maybe this time it won't be a platform game with cats?
...but I am not going to start a new game... I swear... That would be dumb... I can't even imagine why I would do that... I mean, it would be a complete distraction...and I need to finish the game I am launching on steam in 48 days...
The last jam we took part in was Ludum Dare 49, where we built everything from scratch—including the engine! This time, we're diving into something new: Godot. We’ve never used it before, but it seems pretty straightforward.
I'll be focusing on the technical side (coding, mechanics, etc.), while my wife, Nirvie, will handle all the art and visual details.
Right now, I’m wrapping up the build and deployment infrastructure. Once that’s in place, we’ll be all set to see where this jam takes us.
This is the first Jam I'm participating in, I'm excited to start! Best of wishes for everyone!
Oh my, a moment I've been looking forward to for a verrrrry long time: helping on making a video game. I'll be joining 2 Ludum Dare-veterans, who happen to be an awesome couple. What better way to learn, right?
I'm so glad I can join Tobugis aka indie developer Togis and designer Burchyn. I'll be working on story and, if time left, some music.
I wish you all the best. Hope you're looking forward to our project :heartbeat:
Check us on Twitch: GM3L and Tobugis
Been a few years since my last LD. Gonna be a fun weekend!
which one's you?
Greetings!
I'm back with another fun little community engagement post, as I'm curious about why people pick to be on a team or go solo, as a person haunted by leadership woes of the past I always went solo, but I see many people wanting to be on a team, and I also would like to try doing a team based LD (not for 56 or 57 even)...
SO! What motivates you guys to go solo or go in a team, and if you are solo what aspect of gamedev do you wish you could do better or wish somebody else could do for you?
Well I am pretty nervous, but with the help a few gave (1,5y ago ahem still thank you for the recommendations) I found and experimented with some programs for my first solo Jam. Twine is the winner, which does mean a few categories will be skipped but so be it- I have very limited focus and energy afteral. Works well with such simple program, plus its less stressfull for the beginner (story loving) me. 📚
If I finish or not is not my main focus, nor my scores if I manage. Going to try, enjoy and meanwhile cheer others on isss~! So...
Good luck and enjoy in advance! 🍀

I'm in! Going to go with my usual of using Pico-8 and Aseprite this time around.
My wife and I enjoyed participating in the past Ludum Dare as a team so we are joining in again! We'll probably take on a simpler 2D project this time rather than 3D, so most of our work will be done in Godot, Aseprite, LMMS, and a few other programs as appropriate.
Havent had time in years! Im quite excited what the theme will be!
