Yep! We’re in! Which means we’ll participate in the jam obviously. Who are “we”? ThePorenta, sgade (probably called sense here) and the random guy who’s writing this post! Also, here’s a small list of tools/libs we’ll use:
Also, with a little luck, we’ll include multiplayer, but that isn’t were likely to happen:

Second LD for me. Hopefully the theme has nothing to do with minimalism this time.
I’ll be using:
Here’s my basecode repo (declaring at commit 7aec3c8e08). It’s CC-3.0 Unported, so feel free to use it!
I’ll be time-lapsing AND streaming! My Twitch channel is hereabouts. Watch me fail to come up with an idea. I’ll probably end up tweeting some manner of nonsense, too.
It’s my second LD
I’ll be using:
-Multimedia Fusion 2 (for the first time) or HaXe + OpenFL
-Graphics: GIMP
-Music Generation: Autotracker-C or cgMusic
-Sound FX: BFXR
First time LD participant here. In fact, first time making a game at all.
Not sure how this will turn out, but I’ll do what I can and have fun with it. Good luck to everyone!

After having a blast last time, I think we’re going to go for it and make another game this weekend. Will it be as weird as last time? Let’s cross our fingers!
Since this will be our second LD, I feel like we’ve got a lot of room to get things right, or at least right-er, than the last time. Or it could all go horribly wrong! Who knows! But either way it will be loads of fun (and a chance to survive on pizza and beer for a weekend)!
Oh, also: I see everyone posting the tools and language they’ll use. Personally, I’m too disorganized and/or too picky about tools to decide on anything before we dream up the game idea. So we’ll see what happens!
Engine:Construct 2
Graphics:Drawplus
Food:Tomato ketchup
Going to be participating in the Jam this time around, with the help of my lovely girlfriend sleepyprincess on graphics. Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Language: Java
Engine: LibGDX (with Artemis Entity-Component-System framework)
Graphics: Aseprite, Inkscape
Sound: sfxr
Other: Might be reusing some very basic stuff from the previous LD, nothing core to the gameplay, just some helpers (https://bitbucket.org/Zenanon/ld2710seconds)
I have returned to my throne.

My usual suspects are:
-> Chronolapse
-> Open Broadcaster Software (streaming to http://www.twitch.tv/pragmascript)
-> The Gimp
-> Blender
-> Unity
-> Audacity
-> Coffee
Have fun everyone!
This would be my first jam ever
my goal: start and possibly finish a game
language: java
framework\library: libgdx
graphics: inkscape\gimp
ide: Eclipse
Good luck to everybody

Wootsch wootsch
Failing Making multiplayer online games most of my LD’s i’m really curious to know who’s with me in the genre, there were a few but really fun ones a few LDs ago, i remember a fighting platformer and some really frenetic and good-looking mining game (WITH LASERS).
I’m in again hoping it will be better than my last one, aiming for some simple and decent mechanic to come out of my brain, more in the spirit of The last Square.
I’ll be using :
Who will dare making a MMO ?

Are we in? Heck yeah we’re in! We couldn’t quite make it in time during LD#27, so now we’re back with a vengeance.
The year is quickly coming to an end, you’ve been wondering what gifts to buy friends and family, and decorating the house for the festivities has probably begun by now. Yep, it’s none other than Ludum Dare.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Sketchbook, Chronolapse, MY BRAIN
Tools: Sublime Text, Wolfram Tones, and either the Flash SDK or HTML5
Good luck to everyone!
Good luck to all entrants and happy game-making!
Onto my 8th LD. Last time I could not participate so I am thrilled to make a game for LD again. Here is a compilation of my past games. You can find all of them on my homepage

Screenshots of my past LD games
To be honest, I am a little nervous, because I really liked my last game and I hope to be even better this time, even if it’s going to be difficult…

I think I see a tendency…
So of course I am in for LD28.
Tools: Javascript, three.js, tween.js, Chrome, Firefox, maybe my xbox gamepad, tablet, sfxr, audacity, paint, gimp, photoshop – depending on the game I will make. I have not decided on an IDE yet. Maybe Eclipse and GIT, maybe my own code editor…
Hi people! I’m going to enter the LD again! </redundant> THis time I’m going to do voxel… something, probably a space shooter if the theme allows it. I’ll be working with Unity and probably will enter the Compo because I’d rather not release my voxel engine’s source to the public quite yet. I have high hopes for this compo and can’t wait to get a-codin’! Just be wary, my game will probably be a bit heavy on the graphics side, and in fact will probably be a bit of a tribute to J.J. Abrams, with more than enough lens flares and bloom to go around.
I just changed my vote for the final round, voting only “creation”, because I think it will bring so much diversity in the games done this weekend.
This is my first Ludum Dare, I am going to be taking part in the Jam. I’m going to be using the standard java libraries to create this game.
Language: Java
IDE: Eclipse
Music and sound: Audacity, sfxr
Graphics: Photoshop
I tried doing it once and may try again. I’ll use C++, Allegro, Audacity and KolourPaint.
I wish goodluck for all the developers.
Also, visit my blog http://gameprogrammersnotebook.blogspot.com.br/
I hope we will have a nice theme.
I’m in for LD 28!
I’ve wanted to get away from using Unity for a little while now. I shopped around for a new engine, and really liked HaxeFlixel; unfortunately, I had problems with it (documentation), so I’ve learned Flixel in the past week or two here and I’m feeling comfortable with it. I’ve had a lot of ideas for really complex 2D games lately, so I think of Flixel as a great prototyping tool and stepping stone to rolling my own tech.
Here’s the list of tools that I’m using:
Good luck to all!
Jamming with my buddy as inspiration to put my custom engine to work. Going to use this experience as a way to see what works in the engine and what doesn’t in terms of ease of use and flexibility. Also looking to get some practice in asset creation.
