Unless of course you’re frantically finishing your own game. Then keep at it.Brain fried.. Off to bed.. Almost at zombie level of activity.
Thanks for a intense weekend, resulting in a new view of myself and what I can do if I spend some time creating.. This will NOT be my last LD.. =D
I created a short screenshots video of my progress http://youtu.be/-nw7FbFOEJ8 .
Hope you enjoy the game “Join Us!” and do leave a comment at the Ludum Dare game page.
Now, go make games 😉
Good night… .. . . . . . . . .
I’m downloading web version of “We’re connected” right at this moment.

This Ludum Dare was one of the hardest for me. Not sure if the theme was too specific, or i was to relaxed, or the autumn is coming and my mood depends. Maybe i’m not right but tis time there was too much depressive posts from other people droping the contest byt the end of the first day.
Nevertheless, game is done. As always, i did something quite new for me: new style, new mechanics, new mood in game.
I realized i never made a platformer (while quite a lot of people do them for LD).
I realized i’ve never tried to do some childish funny adventuretime-ish style and setting.
And here it is, made and done, childish funny and simple platformer “We’re connected”:
P.S. thank you, Ludum Dare, and good night <3
Decided to try to build a tower defense RTS space mining game. The awesome libGDX HTML5 publishing actually worked this time.
My game, Connect Home really looks like a game now, but it is far from finished.
Some sounds, a nice background music, a good scanline shader, leaderboards, or just more levels – I can imagine many features but i’m just too tired now!
Even went running, some meditation in the park, but nothing helps now.

I hope you like it!

Congratulations to all of you!!! It was a great first-time experience!
Wow, time’s flying. My friend I finally named our game, entitling it “Melody’s Long Ladder Home.” Hooray!
Today we fought our first major issues (first serious frame rate drops and than later items disappearing) and got through them both OK. We finished laying out the map and play pieces this morning and than spent a huge chunk of the rest of the day proving to ourselves that our game was beatable. It took us hours of play testing and countless revisions but we did it. Here’s a quick pic from the game to wrap this up.
We only have a few small things left to do, and considering that we’re doing the 72 hour jam, this leaves is almost 24 hours to polish, finalize, and touch up everything to a nice sheen.
Well, as nice as we can, anyway.

I would have liked to spend 3 more hours on this for polishing, but I’m afraid I am going to create more mistakes than I am going to solve in this state…
My game is ready it’s called “The Device”. You can go to HERE to try it out. I think I did good job on the game. A little thing you should to is lower you’re sounds, because the sound CAN scare you little bit.

I just submitted my ludum dare game. Today was quite exhausting and just when I was uploading my game I had to spend 2 hours fixing stupid bugs 😛
Looks like the game works, with some minor issues, and it’s ready to be played. So check it out!
Features:
-Watch random updates from different characters.
-Over 70 pre-made status updates plus lots of randomly-generated quotes.
-Mark your favourite quotes and share them on twitter.
-Pop-ups with warning messages.
-No annoying chat sounds.
-Procrastinating has never been easier.
-94.9% more random than your average game.

No real gameplay yet, but atleast it’s starting to look somewhat screenshot-worthy.
Very grateful that I’ve chosen the Jam and not the Compo this time around.
1 day left to create the gameplay… and I’ve no idea what it should be. I’m thinking of just making it sort of a puzzle-toolkit. But we’ll see what happens.

i have finally started working on basic sound (at last not long left though) i try to add music but i do not have much and i am tired
I’m really glad I had a bunch of time to polish it up before submitting, and overall happy with the character art (backgrounds, not so much). Here’s a screenshot of the Palestine “level”, as my earlier posts of it got lots of positive reactions. Play it here. Enjoy!
It’s ugly even by my programmer-art standards, but my entry, Phase Shift, is done and submitted!

Since I made relatively slow-paced games for previous LDs, I thought I’d try an action game this time. The goal is to escape the map– use the arrow keys to move around and the spacebar to shift between the twin dimensions. Avoid obstacles and try not to get caught in the blast wave!
I am happy
My first Multiplayer Game ever is done!
Hope to see you in my game and to get some comments.

Greetings and good luck for the last hours!

Well, I’m done. Made a match 3 game about planets. Nothing special, but there is some resemblance to an actual game! If the assets were better, I think it would be pretty decent.
Still, I’m just happy that I finished. Last few hours were pretty stressful, so now is a good time to take a real break. I’ll write a detailed post-mortem later. Making games is friggin’ hard, sheesh.
But if someone asked me if I would do this again in four months? Absolutely.
