8 days.
8 days and I haven't even finished my game engine... Unity3D it is.

First time at Ludum Dare. Looking for a great experience!
Ludum Dare 39 will be my first. I can't wait to see what me and many other people make. Good luck to you all.
The tools I will be using:
-Unity 5.6
-Blender 2.78a
-Audacity
My first game for ludum dare probably will not be very good. I just want to sharpen my skills as a developer. Once again good luck to you all.
I've tried to compete in the last 2 Ludum Dares, but I've been unable to complete my games because reasons. Hopefully, I'll have more luck this time, even though I'll be in a plane for the first 6 hours and on another plane for the next 20!
Ooh boy, it's been a while. Back around Ludum Dare 31, I did a thing. It was pretty mediocre & cheesy & whatnot, but it was a thing. I forget what my username was or whatever, but I participated. Some months after that, I got burnt out on game development. Music has always been my thing first and foremost, & I wanted to pursue that with more focus. At the current moment, I'm in the final phase of production for my self-titled album which is coming out towards the ends of August. For whatever reason, I happened to hop onto this website fairly recently, only to find that LD39 will be starting soon. Keeping in mind that I haven't done anything with game development for (roughly speaking) 2-3 years, I decided "What the hell, let's give this a go". So here I am. Depending on whatever the theme is (and whatever I'm in the mood to do), I'll either be making a text-based game in C++, or a graphical game in Snap 4.0. Will I follow through and actually make a game? I dunno, but I want to try. Hell, I may livestream it on twitch or something just for the heck of it. I dunno. I'm gonna try to do the 2-day compo, but I may go for the 3-day jam if I haven't finished in two days. Anyways, let's see where this goes. ;P
Ran into some tech issues last time and couldn't publish the game in time, so this will be my make up round!
I made a program to comment on selected youtube videos. I made this using java/javafx source code available. You can download the app here: https://github.com/doppelgunner/YouBot

2nd Ludum Dare; and good thing too! My choice of programming last year was Game maker studio and they updated the new version so that you can't create an executable of your game; which isn't bad for me since I still have the old version :D.
P.S I feel bad for anyone who might accidentally program their entire game in GMS 2 and then learn that they can't actually create the application ;(
P.P.S Don't worry, I don't use the drag-and-drop coding on GMS, I'm not a loser.
So I made a game last ludum dare for tiny world and have developed it a bit more, and I thought this would be a good place, who knows maybe someone who originally played might give some feed back. Please play and give your criticism either here or on the ith.io page. Or not I don't know you probably have better things to do.

1-st tileset done!

I cant wait :)
Oh boy does it feel good to actually have time to participate again!
Last time, we ended up at a fairly good placement in the “fun” category (the one we want to focus on).
We managed to make that game in half the regular time (due to real life stuff and scrapped ideas).
This time we have dedicated our time 100% for LD and we are eager to outdo our previous entry by a metric shitton!
Stay tuned friends!

Continuing on with my coincidental pattern of the uneven LD's this'll be my fourth time participating after LD 33, 35 and 37.
It will be my 3rd time doing the Jam, but not with the same team as LD 33 and 35 as my friend and artist from those LD's sadly won't be able to participate this time.
I am very excited!
Good luck everyone!
Can I use font-awesome icons as sprites for the compo? Do they count as fonts, or do they count as non-original art?
I'll be doing the jam (time permitting) but alone for once!
I'll be coming off a crazy week so we'll see how much time I can throw at this to succeed! Good luck to everyone else taking part!
But with godotengine instead of unity3d.Now I go back to tutorials :D
