Asado is in!
I'll be using Unity
I'll be using Unity
This is the first time I have had the weekend to spare, I have no idea what I'm doing :)
My team and I are in again for Ludum Dare 39. The team is much larger than the old game page implies, most of my five teammates didn't bother to sign up for an account. Maybe I'll convince them this time.
I'll be using my own cobblestone engine once again, in IntelliJ IDEA. For art, we'll use Photoshop, Gimp, Krita, GraphicsGale and Paint.NET depending on who's doing what, and on what OS. Music will mostly be done in FL Studio.
To prepare hype, I've made this wallpaper:

Have fun, and good luck!
The living human being of myself is notifying the community that my participation shall be expected for the upcoming event that is a gamejam.
Memes aside, I'll be attempting this LD39 as my 7th participation with my usual weapons (never change a winning team) : GameMaker, paint and chiptone.
Also I'd love to team up with an audio fellow, so if anybody is up for a collab you can see my stuff here and hit me up there.
Good luck to everybody entering, I hope you have fun! :D
This will be the second time I'm joining. I hope that I will be able to make and finish something cool. Excited for the theme!
Dynamic Panic Studios (Not really a studio, just Paul and I) is back for our 5th straight dare. We had some lackluster performance during LD38 and we plan on using that as fuel for the fire in LD39.
Our mantra for LD39: We will not create, a game we hate, nor will we procrastinate. The game we make, it must be great, lest it be like thirty-eight.
Good luck to everyone!
I'm really looking forward to next weekend's jam and I'll be working with the same team as LD38. We received a lot of positive feedback from our game Little House of Horrors, but we are ready to take the next step and make a better game this time around. Good luck to everyone participating!
Was here on January. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish my project. Hope to turn that around this time.
Hopefully I'll be able to make a game for LD39 that I like.
Anyway, good luck to all!
Here's an idea for designing characters quickly: base your characters on Ludum Dare! I don't know how many of you would be into this, but it could provide some interesting characters. It would also give us some sort of unity (not the game engine). Tell me if you like this idea or send me examples of this concept. Maybe we could also include the Mike chicken in or games or something. It would be sort of fun to reference the event in our games. It'd make LD games stand out from regular GJ games.
I gave a quick shot at designing an LD inspired character myself. Have a look:
It was quite fun using the LD color scheme.
Hey there!
We («Volcanic Giraffe» team) are surely in this time (jam, as usual).
Our PR guy is preparing the big and beautiful promo post. Until then let me share a little game. I’ve started it to try some grass physics and ended with something what my 2 age old son very likes. He still doesn’t know how to say «wind» or «owl», but he likes to play hide-and-seek with owl (even owl doesn’t play with him - it tries to catch mouse :) ).

Did you ever create a game specially for children? While they small they don’t need AAA games with realistic graphics. Just smiling sun sprite - and they are happy ^_^.
Me and my two friends are in. This will be our first time entering. Hopefully we will actually finish our project, as that seems to be a problem other people have had. :/ Good luck to everyone who is entering!
It's that time again.
I'm in for Ludum Dare 39!
Je cherche un coéquipier francophone pour améliorer mon français. On pourrait communiquer avec Skype ou par courriel. Je peux programmer, mais mon art est pénible.
I'm in ! It's the first time I'm entering and I hope I will finish my game ! Good luck to everyone !
Weapon of choice
Unity 3D, C# Scripting, Blender, Sculptris,
Looking for people to work with for the jam reach me at theeverknight@yahoo.com
Trying Ludum Dare for my second time on my own this time around. Not expecting huge returns in scores but, I'm ready for a little challenge. Will be streaming and posting a timelapse when done as usual. (https://www.twitch.tv/meenners)
Good luck everyone!!!
I haven't made an LD game since LD34 so excited to be back.
I'll be using GMS 2 for the first time in an LD so hopefully things go well. I'm going to try to get my friend to help with art n stuff.
Using: GameMaker Studio 2, SFXR, Paint.Net (friend will probs use photoshop idk).
Just going to decide on what to do based on the theme and hopefully make something cool.
Yeah. I'll probably try and use Unity this time (A first for me).
