Probaly one of the only posts I’ll make
Hello! I am Jacob. I have making these jam games for a while and I thought I could make a post. So here I am!

Room draft is done. Time to get mechanics together and start to replace models, textures and materials. Follow progress on my blog: http://kittysgameden.tumblr.com/
We decided to go with UE4 and a pretty dark theme for this LD. Hopefully it turns out okay 😀

After a dawn of bad ideas and problems with my engine, I was able to do the basics in 4 hours of work, level design, basic animations, and also a logo
The game will be a platformer where the platforms keep moving or disappearing and you have to concentrate on not falling and shoot the enemies.
TEST ROOM:

PLAYER RUNNING ANIMATION (It is blank because it will be customizable):

GAME LOGO:

More updates soon 😀
(SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH)

Well, it’s your lucky day! Introducing: Crudely Painted Sheets!
Myself, Muffin and ShinyFruit are in and ready with an idea we really love. Hopefully we will be able to do the idea justice.
Oh and I will be streaming some of our progress (mostly art side) over on Twitch 😀 https://www.twitch.tv/teaguns
Work in progress! There’s only one screen and interacting with objects just displays text – no other game logic yet. Got SFX, music, HTML5 export and upload to itch.io kinda working (need to figure out how to render it properly in the view port).
Finally, the logic is starting to behave as intended !

That moment you realise that without context the game you are making makes little sense is an ‘interesting’ one.

After wracking my brain for ideas I settled on the idea of a machine / device / implement that only has room for one input, currently go left and go right. Not much on the gameplay side but it is a start since it seems that most of the work completed was under the hood framework stuff. So hopefully after some shuteye, I can quickly get through everything that I have planned.
Good night (or evening, morning, etc depending on your time zone) and keep that amazing work I have been seeing up!
I’m in, with only half of the available time but I wouldn’t want to break my 15-streak 😉
Got my idea pretty late, but I started programming right away so I still took the time to go out for a coffee/doodling session…

I’m using Unity because I need more practice with it, my code and assets will be available on GitHub as usual.
Good luck everybody! Have fun
So we’re in (Wat?…)
We woke up late due to doing some work and talking about life from 9 PM to 6AM
since LD starts at 10AM in our timezone.
Officially starting by 6pm which is almost half a day gone.
Here’s how we started:

With 5 boxes of pizza! What a way to start the jam with some Dinner Jam.
With the hard part of the Jam done (the eating part…)
we’re down to the dirty and gritty bits, we’ve made progress with our game. Sure it’s only a mockup but hey, better than doing nothing while waiting for the other assets to be completed.

More updates on the game later / tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed the eye candy (-referring to the pizza)
Progress update 2 on one of the most interesting experiences of my life so far.
Currently we have our dungeon generation underway and movement and attacking completed, some enemies implemented and a handful of items drawn. Taking the rest of the night off for sleeping because we are weak. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves.

Ok, so One Room…
I’ll give it a go.
Hi, we are taking part to the compo and hope to finish something playable.
Hah! That’s my second Ludum Dare Jam but my first which I run alone.
I am a bit nervous.
Well… my idea is a 3D stealth maze as an escape room. xD

French noob here.
The theme is a little generic but it’s not a problem.
Go !
After cookies and tea I created That !

I’m in!
It’s my first time at ludum dare.
My game will have zombies!
Good luck to anybody!
it begins!

after lots of debate, feross and i decided what kind of game to make.
it’s set in a single cozy living room on a peaceful sunday afternoon, where our protagonist is watching Netflix and trying to get on his Chill.
in a dusty corner, a visitor appears. after that… let’s just say things don’t go as planned.
our working title is Kill It With Fire
