Progress for 1.6 days.
I made an interesting mechanic for puzzle-platformer. But most of all, I do not have time to do a full game. There is only one half-finished puzzle, but still no sound and graphics.

Game completed yet!
It’s not much, but it means I finally have the hardest parts done
I’m doing my terminal game where you have to defend one room from aliens. Almost all core mechanics are done expect for defending the room (I’ll just have to make that some enemies go straight for the spawn room that isn’t marked yet). Also I finally managed to do proper pathfinding! See how the game looks right now here. Hopefully everyone is also doing fine
Here’s a full playthrough. If you’d rather experience it for yourself: Entry Page

Working on the atmosphere of the “arcade” and adding a few extra features into the main game, and, not to mention, working on the arcade machine model A LOT more!

“48 hours is a long time, right?”
Yes it is, past me. So let’s squander half of it doing nothing, and then submit 7 hours early anyways!
Ah, this game. I don’t know why I was struck to make this idea, but it happened.
It’s Windows only, and a score based game as opposed to level based, but I hope you all like it.

There’s only a few hours left, so I am going to stop adding features and start tweaking and bug fixing on my game, Bat Cave.
Shoot and avoid the bats. Shoot the drips coming from the stalactites so they do not build up stalagmites on the ground. You can jump over smaller stalagmites, and shoot the bomb power-up to remove them. Shoot the bullet power-up for 10 seconds of extra fire power.
Added visuals like flashing lights and stuff

We were all day working on the game and we have implemented all the static art and almost all the levels. We need to do a lot of thing so… we leave this little level and we keep working!

Things to do yet:
– Start GUI
– Animations
– Implement ALL the levels we have designed

The first screenshot which looks as it should for the submission. Not all the game mechanics are working yet, and I will have again have to cut back on many things.

The two big things to be added before submission are our tank still doesn’t fire yet and end game conditions need checking. After that, its time to add the environment objects and particles. I would love to have a LD Compo where I can spend more than 20 minutes tacking sound in – but alas, I don’t think this will be the time.
Final stretch now
Having fun implementing all the ideas.. Still a lot of time left.

Sorry guys, this WIP doesn’t gonna contain the music itself, i don’t want to spoil it
Good luck everyone.

It’s already night here, and on the morning I’ll need to go to work. That means that I will have some tomorow’s evening time to finish game for the Jam. But, I hardy believe so, since a lot of gameplay stuff is missing. Still, I think that was a good experience and I definetely will go for the next one.
So, problems in my game:
