My baby is free now

That was insane, but I made it! Its a simple game, but the process to create it was fun and its always good to finish a project. If the picture intrigue you, just come in!

Hi! At least we finished the game for our first (and not last!) Ludum Dare project, here you go!
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-37/?action=preview&uid=125394
(yes, this is a copy paste from the description, so don’t read it twice!)
Who are you?
We are a team of two, we worked at WhootGames (released Random Fighters on android and Castles on Steam/Ps4/XBoxOne), now we are freelancing and trying to create our own studio, Evil Worm Games. This is our first ludum dare, so please be nice!
Oh, we also have an Early Access game on Android called Furry Pirates, go check it out!
The main menu!
What’s this game about?
Well, the theme for this Ludum Dare is “One Room”. So we were thinking…what is there in a room? Furniture! And what kind of game can we create about a room and furniture… Then BOOM! Mind explode! A game about becoming the boss of the stance, the master of the furniture, the king of termites! So…
This game is a fast paced “kind-of-RTS” about becoming the last survival termite clan of the room. You fight with other AI termite clans, consume your wooden nests to create more troops and invade every piece of furniture on the room.
Are there bugs in this game?
Of course there are, it’s a game about termites! Nah, seriously, yes, you may encounter a couple bugs. We apologize for it, but hey, if you like the game we may finish it (bug free!) and publish it on itch.io or another site!
One of the 3 different rooms we made for the game
So… How do I play this game?
Simple! First, go to the ludum dare’s project page and download it! (http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-37/?action=preview&uid=125394). Left click to select furniture, you can drop units or garrison on another nest. Click & drag to select units, and right click to tell them to go somewhere. If it’s a piece of furniture you own, they will garrison. If it belongs to your enemies, they’ll attack it. You have a little tutorial ingame too.

We hope you enjoy the game, have fun!
Hi there!
We are “Take me to Nyamiga” – small team from small Belarus, first participating in Ludum Dare:
Anna Novikova – Game Designer, Artist
Maxim Gerasimenko – Game Designer
Konstantin Savochkin – Game Desighner
Roman Luzhkov – Developer
Gleb Ragoisha – Developer
Irina Kovrigo – Artist
Maryna Lukyanova – Animator
It’s the first experience of game develop for each of us and huh, it was quite a challenge
Sleepless nights, hard work, interesting people and truly LOTS of experience.
Here is a couple of words about our game:
It’s a mobile (Android) game with a simple gameplay: the goal is to press the red button while professor does not see you. There are two “states” of a cat – under the table with long animation of pressing and upper state with a quick one. Some of objects are interactive.
It supposed to be a parrot flying around and complaining to professor if he sees you in the upper state, some other features, but unfortunately we couldn’t add it in time.
upd: Parrot has arrived!
We used Unity, After effects for sprite animation J, Photoshop , Sound forge and Audacity.
Thanks everyone!

It is very procedural, which turned out to be very difficult for me to get right.
But anyway, try this little game where you control the players indirectly by modifying the terrain with brushes.

Game is finished and uploaded! Go play it! **WEBPLAYER ONLY WORKS ON FIREFOX** – anyone know a fix?

‘Goods for the Motherland’ is a 3D game inspired by “Papers please” that involves the player inspecting trucks as they enter the beloved motherland. The player must examine information from the provided documents and cross-reference it to the information available from the truck, which includes aspects such as weight, country of origin and cargo size. The player receives payment for every correct response and must use their earnings to pay for tax, rent, food and vodka so they can survive another day.
The game features a tutorial on the menu screen, to provide the player with visual reference of important objects. Controls are as follows:
WASD – Movement
Left click – Call truck (when used at console) & open rear truck doors (when behind the truck)
Q – Allow truck to pass (when used at console)
E – Reject truck (when used at console)
We would greatly appreciate any feedback you guys have about our game, especially whether or not you enjoyed playing it.
also link any youtube videos if you record playthroughs!
Cheers,
Choppz & Fidrik
I actually wanted to write more blog posts, but then I invested all the time into actually finishing the game, which I think was the better way to go. That being said, I brought the game to a finished stage and made a release for the Ludum Dare Jam submission.
Ludum Dare Jam: Submission / Windows Binary / Source Code
If you have seen any parts of the livestream you might be a bit surprised, but as mentioned in the previous post, I changed things around and went with a point-and-click puzzle game. One of the main issues I have when building a game is that I’m really bad at creating any kind of usable art. And when I get something somewhat nice looking, it will have taken me multiple hours.
By now I don’t even really remember how I got the idea, but I suddenly thought of taking pictures of my own room and “stylizing” them to look kind of pixel-art like. The additional advantage of moving around some furniture was that I could also clean up parts of my room. The end result has a wide range. Some screens look a lot like drawn pixel art, while others still contain a lot of detail. I find it amazing how a few pixels aligned properly already make things recognizable. One thing I probably should have tried, is to reduce the used color palette. That way I’d have managed to drop quite a bit of information detail, possibly making it seem more drawn rather than a photo.
The game is now finished, but it’s very short and I still have some ideas in my head what puzzles I could add, but even more importantly how I could make it work better code-wise. A lot of the game is really just defined in one JSON file and I think, I could expand that one even more, allowing for really quick expanding of the game work and puzzles. We’ll see when I get the time.
I hope you’ll enjoy playing my game and don’t forget to rate my game!

I almost can’t believe we actually uploaded the game three hours before deadline, but here it is! 😀 If you feel like checking out what we’ve been working on go play Banira Shio ^^ We will really appreciate any feedback.

Enjoy the rest of the Ludum!!
I had so much fun and this was awsome. I even started late but I made it. I only jad 28hrs when others had 48 or 72hrs. This is my first jam!! Hooe you all enjoyed your self
I’ve finally finished and submitted my game! This is my first Ludum Dare and the first game I have created. Come check it out and leave feedback. Be as harsh as you want because it’s the only way I will learn

Since my entry is local multiplayer requiring two game pads, I’ve put together a game play video. Enjoy!
Finally, the build is up, though I do not have that many options in terms of hosting at the moment. So for the time being the gamejolt page will have to do…
It’s been a hard but we did it! We have submitted “What happened to Michael?” on time. It’s our first “point & click graphic adventure”, and we must say we now have a lot more of respect for Ron Gilbert, Dave Gilbert and all other Gilberts… creators of adventures. Wow.
We had a lot of trouble with objects on screen so, please do try to beat the game (it’s fully playable!) the “Not now” are objects that should not be clickable, but they are there, sorry about that. If you need help, there is also a Walkthrough available 😉
We are happy anyways. Not bad for our first adventure and just a few hours. Cheers!
Dynamic Panic Studios (Paul K. and I (Matt M)) are proud to say that we completed our 3rd LDjam! We ended up changing our idea around about 3 times during this jam. The theme turned out to be a difficult one for us because we wanted to avoid things that other were already thinking about. That being said, we had a lot of fun and we are proud of our little game. Grab a friend and play locally (easy mode). Or, you think you are good at multitasking then try to tackle the task alone (Normal Mode). Can you manage a robot building warehouse on your own?

Try it out and let us know what you think!
Now it is time to start playing all of the awesome submissions by all the other jammers!
Super Excite.

So after a grueling 72 hours, me and Mr Dinosaur are done with our entry

Look at Alex. Waving at the camera like he owns the place.
Details are on the entry page. Too tired to go into details here. T’was fun, peace y’all.
After facing some really tough problems outside the jam (had to waste almost the entire day at the dentist haha), I’m proud to announce that I made a game for my first Ludum Dare!
There were lots of things I wanted to do in this game, better levels, better sound (there are only clicks), better everything.

This is the game page on itch.io
Can’t wait to see the other games made in the jam! Thank you!

I was about to give up, but in the end got at least a single level working… so there it is
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-37/?action=preview&uid=19855
Next time will try no to use an unfamiliar language… again
And we finished our entry! Me and my friends were able to finish the “Heroes of Okarine”, a “defend the objective”, 2D platformer game.
The game isn’t the way we imagined the first time (we imagined multiplayer, other heroes, etc … ), and we had some problems with big scope, but we are definately continuing to develop it!
I hope you guys at least enjoy the idea (and difficult) of Heroes of Okarine, our first game ever made. ^^

While I really wanted to participate in the jam this weekend I didn’t have enough time to work on anything. I’m really disappointed but life happens.
