DMG CTRL

DMG CTRL is finally done, you guys. It’s been a year since my friend and I first participated in Ludum Dare. We’ve learned a lot in the meantime.

(Hopefully it shows.)

Done ‘Room 01’! By Game_Coder28

Hi all, quick updated Game_Coder28 came home after school to recompile for Windows, re-read the rules for submitting and had a mini-panic he might be in breach of the rules around using Copyrighted music (to be fair, believe he had used Royalty Free with Attribution). So, he’s taken the music off, the attribution, recompiled and resubmitted to the compo.

Fingers crossed he’s now/still eligible to be entered and judged (we have since had a conversation around RTM’ing) and he hpoes everyone enjoys it.

Thanks again everyone, been a blast to be involved.

Cheers,
Game_Coder28 & Game_Coder28’s Dad.

Needle in a Neighborhood is Complete

nian-logo

Thanks to everyone who pitched in, our entry is complete. Try Needle in a Neighborhood today! Here’s a short summary:

Inspired by the saying, “looking for a needle in a haystack,” AAGH Games brings you Needle in a Neighborhood, a fairly casual exploration/searching game. You have to search through the houses of a small residential neighborhood for the One Room containing a giant golden needle. There are ten separate houses with 80 total rooms to explore. Only one contains the needle, and since the rooms’ contents are randomized on each play, you get endless replayability.

Give it a play and a rating, won’t you?

Blackout Post Game Dev

This is my first Ludum Dare! :)

I am continuing to learn unity through post production of my first game ever “Blackout”.

Currently, I am working different modes, and randomizing the map and objectives.

Plus, everything will get a lot harder… Stay tuned..

Smiths ‘R’ Us – Complete!

Play it here: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-37/?action=preview&uid=49923

The objective of the game is to control your Master Dwarf to complete orders of the villagers that decide to put their trust on you. You have a rundown workshop componed by a single room, and you’re forced to sleep in the corner.

Once a villager comes in, he’ll ask you a specific weapon. As the customers get more impatient, they’ll start offering less and less for the item they requested, so make sure you hurry up! Should their patience completely deplete, they’ll storm out of the shop, forcing you to pay a penalty.

You have several Dwarves at your disposal: a Smelter, a Smith, a Leatherworker, a Carpenter and a Master Crafter. Go close to them to see what they can craft!

Crude GIF tutorial for how to craft. More details in the help menu:

Enjoy and please contact me for feedback and concerns!

Work is DONE! Now going to zzz

Oh, I finally finished my multiplayer Toy Time game! The last three days have been so fun!

Too tired now in order to write a proper “Done” post, so I’m going to sleep and probably will make a better “Post jam feelings & moral”

Timelapse time!

It’s 3 years I’m jaming, and no timelapse until now. That’s my very first one, it shows how slow I am for coding, and how I made all the graphics in the last 4 hours… but I’m pretty proud of how my game looks.

You can play “Go find a job!here

The Insanely Devious Clockwork Training Room for RPG Slimes uploaded and ready!

Here’s our entry for the jam!

I had the idea of such a game in mind for some time now, so the theme “One room” was basically the one in a lifetime opprtunity to try and make it. It’s a platform hell game for Windows, and requires an Xbox360/XboxOne controller and lots of patience. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Now, off to bed I go!

Day 3 progress

Progress has been made since day one after the update that left everyone craving for more. (Or at least vaguely interested.)

Here’s a luscious screenshot for you to feast your eyes upon:

I’m guessing this will actually be in a reasonably playable condition before the end of the jam. Hurray.

There’s still some minor graphics things to do (kiertorata’s job) and some not-huge-not-minor coding things to do (perde’s job).

And the game doesn’t have a name yet. Shocking, eh?
