Hi there. :wave: I'm a teacher and some of my students are participating in the Games for Change Student Challenge. Some of them are a little bit shy about actually submitting their games, so I thought I'd try to set an example and make and submit a game to Ludum Dare 50. Aside from a few tutorial projects in Scratch, I've never made a game. I learned some Visual Basic nearly 15 years ago, but otherwise not versed in any programming languages, so I'll be using a no code/low code option, maybe Twine or Ren'Py. So, unless something pressing comes up that weekend, I'm in. GLHF everyone!

yet, for something as old and popular as Ludum Dare, I'm surprised the bot infestations aren't worse!

Hello, this is my first game jam and these are my suggestions for themes:

Hey with 12 days left, aren't we normally slaughtering themes right about now?? or am I remembering wrong?

I haven't participated in about a decade, but since I'm pretty much wrapped up on another game project I figured I could make time for LD50.

I'll be using my own simple engine (heavily reliant on pygame), and I've already started a repo with just the basics.

Hyped as always, we tried to come up with some more open themes

I've been out for a couple of LD and I'm excited to participate again after publishing my polished LD46 game on Steam and Itch.

This jams are a huge opportunity to try new mechanics and experimental games, I love being part of it and seeing the creativity of the gamedev community.

Previously I've survived various one and two-week jams and One Hour Game Jam too. I now feel ready to challenge myself to this and just in time for the 50th!
