Slaughter done!

Remember pyJAMa?

...this is him now. Feel old yet?

(Update coming to the GitHub page tomorrow most likely.)
Very busy with university and work though, and on top of that, I'd like to have a go using the renderer I've been writing for a while now. The Extra category is a welcome addition in my books!
Ludum dare 50 let's go!

Well, next time I am going to suggest this:
You are too many unstoppable evil floating time currency islands enemies inhabited by cats who has to be kept alive and connected but distanced in random generated frog world where dead is not the end and you can control only the enviroment with one button.
I think that is exactly what a lot of people wants (based on the suggestions)

It took a while, but I just completed the theme slaughter. Interestingly enough there were fewer suggestions this time around. As usual there were several duplicates, so whenever I found a theme I thought was suitable and interesting, I picked all of the duplicates as well (e.g.: LD1: indirect interaction, indirect control, indirect interaction). On a side note, "conspiracy theories" are stupid in real life, but they might make for entertaining games, which is why I also picked that theme.

Well, it took a while, but its done. A lot of duplicates, a lot of nerdiness, and a lot of nonsensical options. I've found a few interesting, and of those, two or three really promising. We'll see. Good luck to everyone!

Hi! I'm mainly unity programmer, but i also can draw pretty good pixel art. I am looking for a team to participate in this jam. If u interested, you can dm me on Discord, thx) blipi#3511

Here are some fun statistics regarding the submitted themes: - The most common kind of theme is of the "X and Y" trope variety (such as 'Heaven and Hell', 'Buy and Sell', 'Space and time'), 67 themes fit this category. - There were 18 themes containing the number 50. - 24 themes were copies of previous LD Jam themes. - Floating islands were only mentioned 5 times this time.
Also, there were quite a few really weird themes. Here is my top 5 weirdest themes (in no particular order): - If I don't take in my roommates cat they will euthanize it - Alfazal Engineering Providing you the best range of cable tray - Lewd ... "Lewdum Dare" - Alien vs a rag tag bunch of wizards and a ca - Galactic toilet

Our team is still looking for a 2D artist to help us with concept art and promotional material (as well as UI elements, textures if possible, etc).
If you are looking for a team and want to contribute to an amazing project, please reach out to me on Discord: 76561197986029044#5941
It's here! A first GUI version of pyJAMa has just been released on GitHub. Just download the exe file and run it, it should work by itself. A Linux build will be provided once I've had a chance to get to my Linux machine.
If you don't trust me you can also clone the entire repository and run main_gui.py. It's the exact same program but you can look at the code to check I'm not stealing your credit card information.
You now have no excuse to not finish the theme slaughter. You're welcome.
I went through 100% of the themes. And I don't even know if I'm gonna participate in the jam XD
My favorite weird theme were :

We made "The Mage" together for another jam in January and got published by 3+ websites. Play here: https://gabrielbissonnette.itch.io/the-mage
We are going to make a minimalist browser game so the art needs to be simple, without small details. I can manage background art, so we would need you for characters & props.
Here is the rest of my games, including a few game jams I won: https://gabrielbissonnette.itch.io/
Contact me on discord (GabrielB#0001) if you are interested
