Stealing panties...

This world is doomed...

Got my gameplay I'll show that when theres more too it, just taking a moment to show off my ratman character model, gonna rig and animate after some pizza

To cut a Long story short, I searched online and found someone to join the ld 58 together, but today after the theme result getting published, we had a discussion and it didn't end very well. Anyway, we decided to split up into 2 teams to futher achieve our ideas, so me, 2 guys from the original team and some new friends we met online would need to form a new team, does this mean we need to do some changes on the website? Or is it that all we need to do is upload our product of "the new idea" with one of the new teammates account before the event ends?
Wasn't sure if LD58 was happening, but alas, here we are! Happy to get out of my comfort zone and super excited to see everyone's games at the end :D

To cut a long story short, me and my team decided to split up into 2 teams after today's discussion on the theme. So now, me, 2 guys from the original team and some friends we met online today would need to form a "new team". Does this mean we need to do some changes on this website or maybe somewhere else? Or is it that all we need to do is upload the product of the new team say, by my account? (and add a note stating who are my new teammates maybe?). idk this is my first game jam ever, any help will be appreciated.
I FINALLY HAVE A CONCEPT I CAN BUILD OFF OF! :DDDD
Honestly, the wildest thing about this jam was that I had about 30 or so ideas, but turning them into something that's possibly fun, unique and with good push/pull and risk/reward was a bit more complicated than I'd thought. Anyways, the game is basically this:
P.S. play mindwave. cool game.
Hey ! It is my second Ludum and second year making games in unity, and this time i am participating with 2 classmates. Here is a quick preview of our idea and prototype (we found the model on sketchfab).

A jezzball clone where you “collect” your sheep into a pen
Have a rough plan on paper. Relatively new to making games. Refreshing myself / catching up on Godot. Have implemented a basic gameplay loop.

I decided to make a game about chips/caps. The goal is to collect a collection of chips by winning or buying packs. For some reason, this idea seemed simple and interesting to me.
Honestly, I'm already doubting my idea. :\ Depending on what the guys are doing, the idea and gameplay seem too primitive. But I'll try to make the game interesting.

The concept is done, work is flowing and yet I'm still somehow brainstorming names. For some very interesting guys. Anyways, who are all of you doing? Locked in on the work I hope, I'm awaiting a beautiful variety of theme interpretations as usual!

the time has come to make a silly narrative game. there is a plot about collecting too much i guess but the main draw is unhinged encounters with eccentric creatures
i've been sharing some of my hand-drawn artwork recently, and it's been well-received, so i thought i'd experiment with putting that style into a game

I'm having a tough time thinking of any further mechanics or obstacles I can add to my game, and I don't think I have enough mechanics or obstacles to make that many more interesting levels. The urge to quit is rising, but I think the smart thing to do for now is just step away from the PC for a bit and clear my head, rather than continuing to sit here spinning my wheels. I'll keep you posted.

Hello! 👋 We are a small team that has decided to dive into this game jam.
And so we got together and decided to create a game called Harvest of Wyrd.
And the idea appeared not long before the game jam… First, I got hooked on Dome Keeper (I especially liked the mode without monsters!), and the "dig-risk-return" mechanic stuck in my head. I wanted to make something of my own with a similar cycle, but with more room for exploration.
Separately, for another game that was unfortunately abandoned, I was developing the setting of the magical prison called the "Source." It's a place where the very essence is drained from magical beings, and people use this "condensate" as resin magic. It's a magic-technology, the antithesis of complex and demanding natural magic. You just take the resin, enchant an item — and it works. Like electricity. Meanwhile, inside the prison itself, the inmates, merging with each other and the environment, slowly fade away, turning into monstrous chimeras.
When we saw the "Collector" theme, everything clicked! My collection mechanic, the prison setting, and the game jam theme fit together perfectly!
And that's how Harvest of Wyrd was born — a game about a resin collector who, along the way, grows their collection of artifacts.
Stay tuned for updates — we'll show the first sketches and concepts soon. And tomorrow, the first prototype will be ready.

🇷🇺 Привет! 👋 Мы — маленькая команда, которая решила ворваться в этот геймджем.
И вот мы собрались и решили сделать игру под названием Harvest of Wyrd.
A little late this time :/
btw can someone recommend some better software for gifs

Unfortunately, I planned to move faster. But at least I finally drew it. Hope I'll manage to finish it in time)
