I’m doing it!
I will participate in this ludum, trying to make something simple but polished with a team.
Also… Potato!

I’m in, this will be my 2nd LD. Once again, the goal is to do the jam with a couple of my friends/classmates, as long as all goes well. Worst case scenarios: they drop out and I switch over to the compo on my own, or we fight about what to make and all dive into the comp. Regardless, at least one game will be made.
Here’s what we think we’ll be using:
Language: C#
Environment: Monogame
Images: GIMP/MS Paint (yes, MS Paint)
Sound effects: bfxr/sfxr
Music: In-game music – probably nothing; development music – a bit of everything (courtesy of Spotify ^_^)
Depending on how I feel and which machine I do most of my work from (and if my apartment’s wi-fi cooperates), I might stream a bit. If so, it’ll be at twitch.tv/snoringfrog; I doubt the other guys will be streaming.
Looking forward to this LD; I met a lot of awesome people thanks to participating in the last LD, and I’m hoping this one will introduce me to several more.

Hello everybody
It’s my first LD.
I use Lazarus (Delphi) with the basic units (rtl, vcl)
sound: music editor free, musescore
art: paint, windows-fotogalerie
and Notepad++
I’m in the comp for this weekend, it’s my second time. Last time was ld26, earlier this year.
I went alright in ld26, but I hope to get a better overall rating than last time, and continue doing so each time I enter 😀
The tools I use are:
Engine: Standard Java AWT. Yup. I may use game maker or unity instead if I’m in the mood though.
IDE: Eclipse.
Graphics: Paint.NET and/or GIMP
Sound: bfxr
Music: Ahahahaha, yeah, about that…
As for the possible themes so far in the voting, there are definitely a couple I’d be happy to have (although some that I wouldn’t be so happy to have!)
For me, the comp starts at midday on Saturday, nearly ideal timing, although I do have school monday. I’m also away this weekend, but I’ll still have plenty of time, while I’m there.
This will be my 2nd Ludum Dare but my first time flying Solo!
UPDATE:
I realize it’s too late but I missed the part where I was supposed to tell everyone the specifics of what I’m doing.
Entering the Jam
Coding for HTML5 Using Sublime Text 2 as my editor of choice and the CreateJS library.
Using all manner of Adobe products for Sound and Graphics
A few public domain images for references
Mixcraft6 for Loops and such!
Let it begin!
This time, I won’t be alone for the ludum ! I don’t want ugly graphics again >_<
For my third participation, I’ll do the jam with by girlfriend, Yukiren (who is a veryyy veryyy good designer !).
It is her first participation in LD. I hope she’ll enjoy it !
Stuff :
My first & second ludum games were based on PHP/Html5 but it’s very difficult to make dynamics games with PHP. So, I decided to learn Java with Libgdx.
Objective : probably a good retro game !
Let’s do it !

Hi guys !
Like for many people, this Ludum Dare will be my first programming competition, I hope it’ll be fun!
For this time, I’ll use Stencyl, because I think it’s a great software for little games and fast programming.
I’ll use the demo version of FLstudio10, Bfxr, and Audacity for sounds/musics, and paint.net/gimp/pencyl for graphics.
—–
Last month I have trained me for this competition by making a little game in 6 hours. My theme was “No Kill”, and I made this : http://www.kongregate.com/games/Stending/kill-no-one
Say me what you think about! ^^
Hi everybody! It’s our fisrt LD.
Engine: Unity3D
Programming: C# scripting with Monodevelop.
Art: Ilustrator or Photoshop, don’t know.
Music: Free sound databases and improvisation.
Here we go!

I’m again. This will be my 4th Ludum Dare.
Last time I used Unity, but this time around I’ll be once again creating an ActionScript game. While it’s great to explore technologies that I’m not very good with, I think I’m going to try making an actual game this time!
For coding, I’ll be using FDT. For compiling, I’ll be using Adobe AIR 3.8 beta.
Code-wise, I’ll be using my generic, public code that I’ve been sharing on GitHub. Many of it includes game-related classes made especially for Ludum Dare, including a new GameLooper, and a a game input abstract class.
For third-party libraries, I’ll be using Starling for rendering and Nape for physics. I plan on having levels of some kind; I’ll be creating those levels with the R.U.B.E. Box2D editor, and loading them into my game with my R.U.B.E. loading function.
For audio, I’ll be using static files from sfxr. Art will be created with Illustrator and Photoshop.
I’m not sure of the target platform yet. It’ll be Flash, so this means either as a desktop app, a web game, or an OUYA/Android game. My recent prototypes have been targetting desktop and OUYA, so hopefully that’s what I’ll do.
I will be broadcasting my progress on my Twitch.tv channel.
Game on!
Back to business:
Previous LD:
LD26 OCDC
Alright. Bring it!

Greetings,
Looking forward to my first LD solo entry. I plan on using the following tools:
Game Engine
Unity3d with:
2D Toolkit (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/908)
Polygon Tool (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/1032)
iTween (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/84)
Are commercial libraries such as 2D Toolkit and Polygon Tool permitted? Obviously we don’t want to release their source. I am getting lots of mixed responses when searching for this answer.
Audio
sfxr
Audacity
Linux Multimedia Studio (LMMS)
Art
Paint.NET
Photoshop
Thanks and have fun !!
Hi guys!
This is our first Ludum Dare and we’re working as a team of four;
I, David, will be working as the programmer and will be using C# as my language of choice, Red will be creating textures and concept art to help William, our 3D Modeller while Luke will be our world designer and builder.
We’ll be using Unity to build the game itself with MonoDevelop for the programming. Red is using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for the textures and concept art as well as Blender for Will’s 3D Modelling. As for the sound we’re most likely going to be using sfxr for the sound effects as well as musagi for the music, however Luke is the only person with any musical knowledge and he doesn’t really write any music, so well probably resort to getting some royalty free music from the internet.
Not only is this our first Ludum Dare but also our first game, were all self taught in our respective areas and have never worked on anything as large as this together, so we aren’t expecting anything spectacular. But to be honest were just doing this for the Fun.
Good Luck to everyone else who is entering Contest and the Jam.
The first time was great. Well, maybe not for those playing, but I did learn how not to design a game. Being more technically inclined, I was always thinking about how I could make sure there was room for expanding the game as I worked on it. Building it up in the last five hours was working much better for me, but it was too little to late and I had already had too much sleep as well. This weekend was meant for working on another project, but I figured that it can wait.
I’ll be using:
Language: C++
Platform: Linux
Tools
Editor: gVim
Compiler: GCC
Version Control: Git
3D: Blender
2D: GIMP
Audio: Linux Multimedia Studio
I have a Git repository here for my entry, which will contain a simple Hello World window until the competition starts. In addition to this, I shall be using my Open Source engine (well, more of a piston in an engine right now) ZED to aid in speeding up development.
Continuous Integration is handled by an instance of Jenkins here. Builds will be available from here (unstable) or here (stable) for the Linux version.
In addition, I may be using Twitch to stream my progress. I use a 1200×1920 monitor for my code and a 1920×1080 for testing the game, so I’m not sure which monitor would be most interesting.
Good luck everyone and have fun!
N0_Named_Guy reporting in! I’ll be participating on the next Ludum Dare.
I’ll probably use code of my own to develop this LD’s game. It will be (in one form or another) cross platform.
I’ll be developing on Linux, using VIM.
If you want, you may check out my sole LD entry: Mouse Trap.
See you!
My first LD was my first game ever and so this second LD will be my second game.
But since I love challenge (actually I am just a masochist) I will choose a language I’ve never used… (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
So, for the incoming butchery, I will need:
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ scala (language)
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ scage (framework)
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ notepad++ / sublime (IDE)
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ PhotoFiltre
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ BFXR & audacity & hydrogen
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ tonematrix.audiotool

Hello World! This is my first time joining Ludum dare jam and my only real goal is to finish the game
Game engine/Coding language: Game maker studio/Gml
Art: Photoshop cs6
Audio: Sfxr, Audacity and Reason 7
Hope you all will enjoy making some EPIC GAMES!

Well, this is my first compo, and hopefully I’ll be able to finish it. I’m more than excited to give it the old college try though.
A little bit about myself, I’m currently a student going to college for programming and game development. I’ve already got 3 games under my belt from projects classes, but I’m entirely new to the game jam scene. I’ve got an internship doing software so I’ve been looking for ways to stretch my creative wings on the side.
I foolishly thought that making long form games was the same as working on a team over a year, and crashed and burned during this years molyjam, leaving me ego bruised and quite bummed out. I delved into Unity and started learning more about it, and half successfully completed a 7DFPS entry, being my first game jam game. After recovering from my 21st birthday this week, I’m amped and ready to go, and can’t wait to see what I can create for this compo.
I’ll be using Unity/sfxr/GIMP/Blender.
Hey there,
I’m in again!
I’ll probably be using Unity as my game engine (although since I’m still quite new to Unity I might have to switch to using LÖVE). Art will be done in GIMP as always and Audio will be made in Audacity.
Good luck everyone.
