My, my! Where has the time gone?
Unfortunately, we just got done grooming our backlog and realized we’d have to cut some features we really wanted. Such is life in the dare! Here’s our awesome title screen, though!

Space Dimensions is a top down scroller SHMUP, or not exactly … By pressing shift, you’ll add the third (Z) dimensions, and shift to a third person game. The goal is to master this transition, to get to the end of the level. A tutorial and one level are available ! Because I’m not a sound designer, neither a 3D artist, and because i was all by myself, i used some free asset, and some songs i enjoyed playing with. Here is my first jam ! It’s a really special game made with ue4, Hope you’ll enjoy it !

I couldn’t make many levels for thıs mechanic in the compo time. But it’s here. I will write a long Post-Mortem thingy later.

I’m so proud to be just in the final run to finish my first game *.*

I haven’t really put together a good set of levels yet, which is going to be kind of important for this project. At least I have a neat GIF to show off.

Excellent! Just got my first ever entry turned in for this new Ludum Dare thing! Whether it’s liked or not, big thanks to everyone for setting this up…had a blast working on this and anxious to see what you all have come up with!
I spent around 30h working on the game and in hindsight I think that I could have really used a few of those other hours to improve the audio and, more importantly, finish/redo the music track.
Except for that, (and even then I still think it’s better to have something audible…as long as you can also mute it), I’m quite happy with the end result: Enemies aren’t so terrible as in past entries (there’s still room for improvement) and I’ve improved a bit at adding visual feedback.
If I give a few more hours tomorrow for a post-compo I might add gamepad support, debug that stupid mute glitch (I’m not sure if it’s due to Haxeflixel itself or if, more likely, it’s on this side of the computer), and create a decent music track. Of course, my TODO list on Trello has several interesting gameplay ideas and improvements that could be worth to check in order to expand the game, but I may leave that for a postmortem.
Well done and good luck to everyone! I’ve already seen some very interesting entries 😀

My partner and I are happy with the way this came out. It’s our first Ludum Dare, and we did it in the 48 hour time-span instead as well.

Actually I was done early this morning, but was too tired to write.
I had a great time hanging out with Vilcans and Dreadzilla, and we all submitted our games!
I think it went pretty well this time, I was mostly finished saturday night and spent the sunday with music, graphics and bug fixes.
Please play and rate my take on the theme:
but I finished on time. you should totally Check out the finished product because I’m quite happy with it

For the first time, I didn’t have anything else I wanted to add when I posted my game. (Well, more content, but that’s something you almost always want more of.)
Apart from a slight issue with people getting stuck on the third level, (I need to work on my tutorials even more -.-), I have it exactly as I want it.
I love the concept too! #Humility

Hey there! Are you tired of looking on the front page and seeing plugs for game after game?
If so, you should play a game instead!
How about mine, Point of View?

I’ve participated in LD a few times in the past, but never actually submitted anything!
So my game, if you choose to accept it is called Cow Duck Fever!
Switch between a cow or a duck, and try to get a really high score! Maybe even higher than your friends 😉
Have fun! I hope you guys like it 😀
Here’s the LD Link, where you can play it now: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=18250

Cow Duck Fever!
Well guys, i was not able to finish the game for the compo, but i’m still developing the game to deliver it in the Jam 😉
This is my progress so far, 2 levels with all the mechanicall, i’m gonna make another level but with more items and difficulty for the player, I will also redesign the level 2 to add some objects.
Level 1

Level 2

What do you guys think? It is a simple game about moving a square through a dungeon but you also can change of shape into other geometric figures.
Piero Diaz here with a game about moving room in a mansion. The mechanics are done but all is separate. Post a gif with art because i promise show something and for the motivation on this last hours left. >:D

PD: Need name for the game with this little description.
hey play my game or whatever
Hoping I’ll be able to wrap up soon in order to submit for the Jam… gotta go back to work tomorrow…
I’ve got all the technical parts down, my shape-shifting labyrinth is working great. I just haven’t been able to navigate it successfully enough yet in order to reach the exit… I’m even playing in ‘debug’ mode to see the edges of the generated maze in purple… 😛

After this, I think all I have left to add is the title screen… that won’t take long, right???
We be jammin’

Still need to work on a bunch of assets – UI / HUD, etc. We’re running to finish for the jam! It’s been an awesome experience!
Good luck to everyone and congrats to all who uploaded already.
