I was very inspired by past Ludum Dares, and what people can make in just 48 ~ 72 hours. I'm not that good, but I figured joining is a first step I should take! Unity A limited skillset in Blender C# Swift Gimp

This will be my third Ludum Dare. And this time i have REALLY time for it. And this time i plan to go Compo (as i will be solo as usual).
I hope the theme is good and that i get some good ideas for it :)
Me and a group of friends decided to try this out. It will be our first time in Ludum Dare.
Tools:
Unity Blender Logic Pro X
Wish all of you the best of luck!
Hey! Going to try my first attempt in LD48! Picked up Game Maker yesterday and will see how much can I prepare for this jam!
I took a beating in the previous LD. I've been practicing since then, hopefully it will pay off. I've since gotten a HTML build working, so I'm sticking with libgdx.
Tools for LD 41 :Who are we? Why are we here? It's time to prepare for #LD41 - No real idea of game development yet, struggling with Unity basics but we will rock this contest. At least for the last place :D

Looking forward to April 21st!
Missed the last ludum dare unfortunately, but this time I'm in for the 3rd time! Going for the Jam with a good friend. We'll be using Unity and C#. Hyyyyyped!
Looks like this will be the 9th Ludum Dare I take part in... wow. I'll probably be using Unity with C#, but if I'm feeling nostalgic I'll use Slick2D with Java. Whether or not I'll be in a team again I don't know. Anyway, best of luck!
I'm so in for Loudom Dare 41, i missed 40 cuz i was tirred not gonna mis it this time though. I also have lots more experience this time in november i made and uploaded my very first game and it is preaty good.
Using - Java - In Eclipse - With LibGDX
Uploading to - Desktop (All that have java) - Html
I also have a question, i don't know where i should upload my html wich site "Game Jolt" or "Itch.io" or a whole other thing please help thanks!

HTML5 Javascript Gimp Pixijs
This is my 3d LD and will be my 10th game jam. Haven't finished a project since the end of january so it will be great to be cracking' on something again!
I'll be using Godot! <3
I'm In!
I wasn't very happy with my last LD game but I enjoyed it and learned stuff (Wooo).
So now I'm in for the 4th time!
By the way, what Engine will you be using?

I'll post about the results later. 😄
Good luck everyone.
I'll probably write my game in Java using Slick, or JavaScript using p5.js.
Looking forward to it and good luck everyone!
First time was so much fun that my brain still hurts. :D
Using: - Unity C# - PyxelEdit / MagicaVoxel (trying to make Voxel game for the first time but not sure) - Zoom H1 & Audacity for SFX
Remember to post all those good theme ideas! I know you all have them! -> https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/theme
period.
Alright! I've missed a couple of LDs, but now I'm back (with vengeance). Last time I made my first 3D game and got really good feedback for it, so 3D it is for this time around also!
I'll be using:
I have some ideas for what kind of game I'd like to make, but let's wait for the actual theme first before making any hasty decisions. There's still time and I'd like to get a solid handle of Godot's 3D capabilities by doing any available tutorials.
Good luck everyone and let's make some great games!
Well, been very busy with work these last few jams, but this time I'm actually prepared so I'm back with a vengeance.
Going to be my usual shtick of C++ and SFML, though this time I'm not going to complicate things with scripting support, and I'm going to try to set up some collision handling and rendering helpers in advance. And I'll be streaming as much as I can as well, even if I won't be able to run the entire compo time, got to get a reasonable amount of sleep to be able to return to work on monday after all.
Might try some procedural music this time, just play some sounds on algorithmically controlled intervals and pitches. Can't be worse than what I've had in earlier jams.
