I'm in

I'm in. Hopefully will get enough time this time around to actually finishing a game. At least one of my daughters will be working with me as well this time. Can't wait to get started. :D

First game jam!

This is my first game jam. So excited to get started!

First timer

Hoping for a awesome theme!!

Attempting to create a game from scratch using:

RCBasic Gimp Audacity

Excited to do a jam again.

Since I started working, I haven't worked on any game projects, which I think is unfortunate. It'll be good to sink my teeth into a game project, even if it's just a single caffeine-fuelled weekend.

I'm in!

I'm in! First time I ever participate in a game jam, really hope I actually finish something, anything. I am a programmer, but I couldn't find an artist, so I guess that I'll have to make all the art myself... Wish me good luck

(I'll be using Unity, Paint.net, and maybe blender)

Brain please help with the scope this time haha

So this is my fifth attempt at LudumDare. This time, I'll think more about an "80/20" approach to the scope. I'll work alone and I think it needs to be my main rule haha I'm very excited. I love doing gamejams the themes are strange, but I'm confident anyway. Have fun! :)Zoomcam-5.png

Oh jeez, I g.guess I'm in ?!

This will be my first Ludum Dare ! I'm excited but also very nervous as it's the first time I decide to make a "public appearance" with my professional skills (let's hope it won't be the last one). I'm mainly a developer and I hope you'll forgive me for my Developer Graphics Skills 2000 ©️. Well, I guess it's all I have to say for now, let's hope it'll not be all I'll be able to produce during this jam.

Nervous & Excited

I have been waiting to be able to participate in LD.... And I almost wasn't able to, but I'm now able to and I'm super excited!!!! I'll be streaming it too!!!!

Anyone wanna join us?

First Jam!

This will be the first game jam that I participate in. Not sure how any of this works but hopefully I'll be able to output something that's fun to play!

I will create something using my own not-released-yet engine called Kit, that I've worked on for the past 4 years.

I've dipped my feet in the games industry previously and have one released game on my resume, although I've come to find that gamedev really is sacred, and should be kept as a hobby.

Thinking about streaming the development, what do you guys think?

I'm in

I'll be using Lua+Love again, possibly Bosca Ceoil and/or Bfxr for audio. Good luck everyone, I hope y'all have a blast.

I'm in!

Plain c. Going solo. Let's code a game!

Hopefully in!

Will be in a car on my way to holidays when I wake up after the jam starting (might just catch the theme). Will try and either make something in the car, or draw on good old pen and paper for an interesting art style I've never tried before (developer art, begone!). Haven't really used Godot 3 yet unfortunately and haven't touched games development in almost a year now :(

Coming back strong hopefully!

First time, I'm in

So this will be the first time I've joined the Ludum Dare. I've made games before, but I haven't done any public creative work in a long time, so here I go and break my fast.

I recently discovered the Godot engine, and I've done some practice projects with it; this Dare should end up being the first serious project I make with it. I'll also be using Krita for art, with Blender and an old copy of Flash CS3 on standby. For music I've got a copy of LMMS, and this community introduced me to Bosca Ceoil, which I might use instead. (Edit: Ah yes, and there's also sfxr for sound effects. If I do my own foley work, I can use Audacity.)

Now, in the hours left, I have to clear my mind. The most important thing for me to remember is to keep my scope manageable, and that a good calm mind will let you come up with ideas and solve problems in a step-by-step fashion.

I'm IN!

I'm in for my 3rd serious entry , good luck to everyone!!

Final Voting thoughts

This is a Premier for me since i voted final Ludum Dare rounds: there are all "makeable". The last two times i had a Theme where i thought "every Theme but not this" - and this became the Theme. This Time there are a few where i think "Could be hard to come to a good idea" but nothing really bad.

So will be a cool jam i hope. Screenshotem20180809-202150/emChrome.jpg
