This is still the sketched version. I want to make it clean if I have time. If I don't...well the sketched version is not without it's own charm I guess, so it won't be the end of the world.
Implemented features include a title screen, as well as audio options in the pause menu.

Now I just need to write some BGM, and if I have time after that, do a clean version of the UI. Ideally would like to have some UI animation in the menus as well but doubt I will have time for that. We shall see!

So we asked one talanted sound designer to help us with this part of work. We wanted something cozy, looped, relaxing and cute. As far as in game we have 3 scenes, we needed 3 different OSTs for them. Each has it's own character.
You can listen to our Soundtrack here - > https://soundcloud.com/ai1skln5vhxs/sets/cats-delivering-service
Play as a ghost stuck in a time loop, and cooperate with past versions of yourself to find all the light bulbs for The Machine!
Runs on web with webassembly and webgl.

Due to the fact that the game was published before we uploaded it, we decided to crate another account. Now news about "Hellloop" will be published here.
I will also publish here some old posts.

It's not the cleanest, but I managed to finish something I'm proud to say I made in under 72 hours!
I finished my game yesterday, and I wasn't able to get the webgl working. I got it working right now.

Hello fellow LD-Devs! It is done - again. Finished another game, did overscope but could manage to focus and implement main loop(haha).
Hope you also had a great time!
Cursed Deck is a Slay the Spire esque game where your goal is to actually ban all of your cards to win and escape the endless loop of drawing cards. You will encounter monsters which... when killed will grant you a prize. Sometimes even the most important one - the option to ban cards from you Deck, Hand and Discard pile.
You have to play smart and keep your Attack cards in your hand at the end of your turn - if possible, because the Ban card will always focus on your Deck and Discard pile first.
Here are two small gifs of the gameplay.

Can't find the link to my game? Here it is: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/ludum-dare-47-cursed-deck
Please leave your entry in the comments - will happily trade rate 4 rate. :)

I'm wearing orange shirt and blue pants.
Come find me on the island: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-island
We still don't have a name for the game lol. It's always the last thing for us.

Oh no, you fell down a bottomless pit!
Thankfully, there’s a prosperous town of people living in this city! They will help you out of this endless hole if you give them a helping hand as well.
Check out my first LD game. Can you manage to pass all the levels?

We now have a WebGL version of our game called, 'Dolen Days'. Thank you everyone for the great response so far!
Please follow the itch.io link on the page to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/dolen-days-working-title
Feel free to leave a review and a comment if you like. We really appreciate the feedback! :D
Hello all. What do you think about different logo styles?
This time we decided to deep dive into cards and roguelikes with a game about communications :) I mean that we don’t want to hurt an enemy :) Of course, you can if you want. You even can play like a bully. But if not a big fan of bullying you can demonstrate your communications skills and talk the enemy out of blocking your way :)

Released Uffern last night, feel free to check it out! Feedback is greatly appreciated! :)
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/uffern
Available on Windows & Mac! (The Windows link goes to the itch.io page with both versions)
This is a horror, but it's not too scary... :)

I am hammering away setting new buildings and streets. It will go pretty fast now, i can just copy paste buildings. Logical connections of street and junctions, house numbers and the house-street relation are all wired automtically.
btw, these streets are taken from a realy city. I thought it would be too difficult for the jam to come up with a proper city myself.
Now i really need to have a look at the balancing, so i can make some gorillas happy.
(WIP)

She spectates you as you are doing your moves on the lily pads and has 13 unique voice lines (from a real gurl!) encouraging you based on how much she likes you!

Its a game about a blood feud. Check it out here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/knock-off-blood-feud
Its very simple and very very short, I have exams coming up soon and I need to study for them so I couldn't work on the game for as long as I would have liked, but I may make some updates after exams are done.
A few hours from the end, we have soon finished all the scenes of our game which takes place in a Prino.... Praxa.... uuh... Praxinoscope!

In our game, you turn the praxinoscope and change the filters to solve puzzles. We are rather happy with the aesthetic result.
Now, we're fine-tuning the details.

I think I won't make it... I'm currently sitting still and doing nothing as I slowly compile Aseprite to make animations much faster than in Photoshop.

Does anyone know if Ludum Dare has a Discord server?
Can you make 10 GOOD LAPS amidst the chaos?!
Heya folks, just added a WebGL build for Track Day so you can play in your browser! There are builds for all the other platforms too.

Though if you can, please play the build instead for the full experience! (Skidmarks!!!)
Let me know your best results!

Last night I finished my first LD game. It was quite exhausting (as expected) but also a lot of fun and I managed to implement all the necessary game mechanics in time (not as expected!). I don't know how many times during the weekend I was thinking "You're never gonna fix this bug, that's the end!" and somehow it always worked out. Of course that doesn't mean I found all the bugs, and I'm not going to play the game now to find some, but YOU can!
Space Police Simulator Platinum is playable directly in your web browser.

I was thinking that there might be new levels and there could be layers of a time loop. Also check out the game! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/roll-back-the-time

ok

First Time entering a Jam. Hope you all enjoy what we have made! It's quite short, but it has been a great experience for us!
We decided to take a more literal approach instead of the generic Stuck in the Time Loop approach we thought most people would take. Cant wait to see what other people come up with!

This is my submission for the compo jam. This is also my first experience in a game jam and I don't even know why I chose the "hard mode". It was tough, stressful, but just as fun and exciting!
But now let's talk about the game, Looper is an arcade shooter/puzzle game where you are a time traveling agent dealing with a mission that will be his last one. If you like time travels, paradoxes or Christopher Nolan movies you should definitely try Looper!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/looper-the-last-mission

P.S.
Let me know what you think about the game and if I should keep working on it post jam.
I will try to rate all your games :)
Check out my second game jam and first ever compo entry. It was tough but an amazing experience and I hope you enjoy what it turned out to be!

Guess we had too many shroomies spawn after all...

Rollback is a game made for the Ludum Dare Game Jam.
Rollback is a game about speed. You have a time limit to collect 5 keys, some are guarded by a maze, others are puzzles. If you fail to get all 5 keys, time gets rolled back, but if you succeed, you escape the time loop.

Controls:
WASD or arrow keys to move ESC to pause (tab for webgl)
Tools used: Unity - Game Engine Visual Studio - Programming GIMP - Art sfxr - Sound Effects!

Enemies have been created in different locations than shown on the screen. The bug didn't have a problem with the editor, but it showed up when I sent it out. And now it's solved.

I have an HTML5 option. Anyone who would like their game exported, so to run on the web, upload a .zip of the game file to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s68NQuW87Bt-y3GKjQ6p2BqtXlJjtR_k?usp=sharing , and I will export it for you!

Sture, as we call us, are at it again trying to make a game with our limited skills. We have participated a few times before using PIXI for Javascript and Unity but we seem to have found a sweet spot using Godot. Yay!
This is where we're at right now! A few levels, sound/music and a bit more polishing and we're there.
But can you guess the loop mechanic?

I just looked through the analytics of my game on itch.io, and saw that some players were finding my game through itch.io's own website. Since I didn't have a link back to my LD page, those players couldn't easily vote or leave feedback!
After browsing through LD submissions on itch, I found that a lot of other games also had this problem.
Been working on choosing tracks while the player is "stuck in the loop". My personal interpretation of the topic of this jam.

Basic game loop is basically in here. Now I just need to polish and try fill the game with very basic graphics and gameover functionality and it'll be up for publishing.
If you wanna follow this project or other projects feel free to follow me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Tristan10C You can also find more high quality footage of the coaster game I'm building there~
i had a few porblems with the level and I tryd to recare the amoungus eletreal it didt go well then I came up with a new game then my pc crashed i lost all my work =c

Here it is! This is the Presentation of Suicidal Boyfriend! Our submission of this Jam! Hope we'll finish in time!!!
Lets see how it will turn out
Lets see how it will turn out
..
It took longer than id have liked, but nonetheless it is done.
Will polish up the itch online page and such tomorrow I guess, I gotta work a lil on exams first.

Interested? Check it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/$219578
Then don't play my game. I don't know some posts below this there is a mandala creator. Maybe that is for you.
While loops are not relaxing, they are annoying and get your computer stuck!
Try to get your computer out of the while loop!

Volumetric "fire" has been added, slowly the visual style is coming together.

If you want to try out a physics based Run & Gun Game in WebGL - klick the link below.
Featuring: - A better checkpoint system than my (yet unfinished) commercial game (what a shame xD ) - Procedural Animations powered by PhysX - Dismemberment System - shoot off enemy limbs - shoot their arms to disarm them (hehe), shoot their legs to make them slower - 7 Rooms + 1 Bonus Room if you kept your Points with you

Added a WebGL Build now - so you can play in your browser :).
Play and rate if you like - it was a great experience. The theme was a bit hard this time so maybe the game doesnt make clear that rooms are the loop.
But maybe you like it anyway :id:

Come check it out. I apologize if the game is quite buggy.

Oh yea, it's all coming together.

I'm having too much creating the thumbnail for our game...

I'm streaming the process on twitch -> https://www.twitch.tv/cocapasteque
Just finished with 8 hours remaining, This is my second Indie Game, I just released my first 2 days ago. Anyways I hope you like it!

Thanks 😁😁😁

All these Conversations you cannot help but listen, and also cannot reply to... All this spinning but cannot move forward yourself, but at least you can move the life of others!

AFter a bit of work, holographic text now works! Will probably be useful in informing the player where they are located.
Turns out the rest of my team is not on vacations, so I made a banner while they were away

Only 7 hours.. hard work ahead!

It seems most people who have tried have not been able to escape the Hall of Anubis! Check it out and see if you can escape!

Just fun >3

So little time... But we're going to show you something cute and (WE HOPE) interesting!)
I have to say, this was my first ever jam, and it was a blast. I learned a lot more about knocking out quick drafts of gameplay than I had thought I would an I made a LOT more progress than I thought I would.
I found that some forms of gameplay lend themselves better to jams than others. I found there IS a minimum of visual enjoyment for my satisfaction. I actually stopped implementing to bring everything up to what felt reasonable.
I'd never actually published a game before either, so getting it up was a fun set of new chaos.
I started to get sick on Sunday but made it through anyway. :cold_sweat:
Was a great experience!
Give it a play.

Im half tempted to make a second account just to submit Halo.
Seven hours left and a friend just found some big weird bugs and also I have all the polishing left to go! Everything is fine! Not panicking at all!!! Feeling good about finishing on time!!!
someone please save me

The first song is really a demo of what we intend to do if we had a musician or some musical talent (which sadly we don't have much). It layers as you complete each lap with the song changing. After lap 8, we switch to a different song to not drive you (the player) insane!!!
We've still got to add a lot (including sounds), but we are super happy with how this project is turning out!
Let us know your thoughts!

I am quite happy with how the graphics even if they where the result of ill-advised polishing.... XD

Phew, finally, System Reboot is done. You can play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/$214778

It ended up very different from my initial draft. Now it is some kind of small Zelda-like adventure game. But I'm quite happy with the result, especially considering it's all from scratch.
Now I'm gonna take a loooong break, and I'll start rating games.
Now time for polishing...adding some more levels...and some special voice over work!
My Compo entry for LD47 is SnowTrip.
Check it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/snowtrip

Lot has happend since my first Ludum dare back in 2014.
This weekend was a blast! After being stuck on the theme and a very slow start we finally got up on speed in the evening of Saturday and basically the game was pretty much done already on Sunday evening.
Spent Monday for some polishing and adding an end "boss".
Mathias neighbours probably wonder what all the noises came from when he made the sound effects using various stuff in his home.
Music was done by me when I woke up in the middle of the night between Saturday and Sunday and couldn't fall asleep again.
The game is called WHILE (TRUE) and as you guessed it's a game about programing loops. Help poor programmer Bob to break the loops he caused with his code.
The game can be found at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/$226349

Its been a long weekend...but we are almost there
