I'm just so pleased with the incredibly stupid custom cursor I put on the page for our game.

If you haven't already, go rate our game! I'll rate the games of everyone who comments on ours before I go picking other games to rate.
As my dear programmers @honest-dan and @brainoid work their sweet little butts off to meet the deadlines, I'm here with my mac n cheese to give you a preview of a couple rat enemies. Don't get too close or they'll bite your nose.

Not finishing my Ludum Dare entry, but I wasn't really committed anyway (started yesterday evening). A silly Sunless-like with friendly and merciful pirates.

Finally! I did my game! I had to study for my exams and do the jam, sheesh! https://mrchickenboy.itch.io/evo-loop-tion! I can't figure out how to upload pictures and its hella late.
TimeSaver - is our first ludum dare project, which we made with huge interest, but, unfortunately some elements were deleted because we had no time to add them, but game is funny and mechanics are pretty cool. Find it here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/time-saver

Welp, I just participated in my first ever Ludum Dare, I would appreciate some feedback on my game. Here is the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/disaster-wheel

Sorry for the shameless self promotion.
Hi guys
I submitted my game a few hours ago and am confused on how to interpret the metrics.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/stuck-in-a-loop-8
How well am I doing?
This was my first Ludum Dare and it was really fun.

For this jam I decided to make a rougelike game, since that works well with the theme. I'm pretty proud of it, it's definitely one of the more ambitious jam games I've made, so please give it a try.
https://monkosum.itch.io/hall-of-repeat
My first ever game jam after a couple of months learning unity. I opted to make a speed running type of game, check it out!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/hubbles-loop

I listened to the player's feedback and I've updated the controls for the game

You can give it a try here!!
Made it in time with our arcade resource management/shooty thing about surviving on a satelloop! Give it a shot here!
hey, put the link for your game in the comment section and I will rate it (if I can), WebGL build is highly recommended but not necessary (if your game size isn't huge)
this is my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/back-and-forth

Time to make some memes.
They humiliated me at the start of the loop, but now I have a minigun!

Reading commentaries is the best payment of LudumDare project, It's my first experience of making games for speed and that's so cool I can't control my emotions
Our project https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/time-saver
Love this, but i need to chill out with a good cup of tea ;)
Monobrowed Thug robs House of Monsters?
Does it end?
NO!
ALL of THAT IN!

Now that I have had a full nights sleep and my sanity is returning I decided to give my game a play through and check some comments. To my horror one commenters found that you can walk through the doors of the world. This negates the need to solve some of the puzzles and lets the user jump off the map. Now to just to hope not too many user try to walk through the doors.

It has been a long weekend, from not liking the theme to love the game. The Time adventure of Doctor Simon and his broken time machine looks great!
https://youtu.be/mu5CW6WAwzs

We are alrすでにdy in a nev永遠r-ending cycle of samsara. You will be in a loop in this g遊戯me where thここre is no victory and no defeat.
If you're inter興味sted, I'd encourage you to pl遊ぶy it.

Finally Loopgun is here, in the end this turned out to be more a proof-of-concept than a full-fledged game, but overall i'm satisfied with the graphics i managed to make in this short time, come and try it!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/loopgun
we workt on game end we had a lot of fun it was not the best game but it was a lot of fun so i hope you play it
it is in a houre online
So guys, we did it!
...
we made the game. That is: me and MikadoH. This is our first Ludum dare, so it´s pretty huge for us.
It´s a platformer. Main character is a groovy hussite duck. It´s kinda funny, kinda challenging and it has great music. Please, check it out.

(haha, funny number)
Literally me right now, walking in circles and trying to calm my nerves:

Hey! this is my second LD jam, and this time I made everything by myself.
You are a warrior in search of a mythical sword, and you end up on a strange place, looking a way out. If you find yourself going through the same place again and again, don't worry, it is normal!

You can find the entry here
What a jam! This theme was really tough for us, but I'd like to think we managed to make something fun! The two friends I worked with on this have been stellar in both this jam and in supporting my open source game engine's community for some time now! I'm really glad I got to work on this with them.
We weren't really sure what to make for this theme, so we just make a silly, literal take on the theme with an on-rails shooter. While simple, it definitely feels like a complete game, and as a first, I actually enjoy playing my own entry for once!
You can find our game here, go shoot stuff and listen to some random banjo music. It's great I promise:
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/get-off-mah-track-the-game
WE FINISHED IT WITH 3 HOURS TO SPARE!
CAT HUNTER DEMON SLAYER

In this game you play as Mr.Miauw and protect Catopia from the evil hell hounds. Enter BARK, the realm of dogs, to slay catopia's foes. The war is never-ending.
The concept of the game was to have an infinitely looping action-rpg. Due to time constraints it turned out to become a looping arena shooter, with limited adittional features.
We developed almost everything from scratch. The only asset not our own is the Hellhound sprite which is created by Luis Zuno (@ansimuz). The piece is under a CC-BY-3.0 Licence http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
This being our first unity project, we are really happy with what we were able to deliver in this jam. The music, the art, and the code. For more of our projects check out our website: katelyst.com or our itch page: https://katelyst.itch.io/
HOW TO PLAY:
W - MOVE UP A - MOVE LEFT S - MOVE DOWN D - MOVE RIGHT
SPACE - DASH
LEFT MOUSE BUTTON - SHOOT
Doing a quick write up of how the jam went as it was really useful to me last time! This was the forth jam I've taken part in, and my second solo one. I'm really pleased with the result, so I'm planning on adding some mobile controls, more levels and extra polish then uploading to app stores. Head over to https://lukebandy.itch.io/reloop if you fancy playing!
Things that went right
Things that went wrong
Things that I'd do next time

This is my first game ever. I had so much fun and learnt a lot. I will definitely keep working on game projects and will join the next LD events. I will get some rest and start playing your games soon :video_game:

Hey I just fixed a few camera bugs and my game is working better!
https://zack-bazzle.itch.io/clockwork

It's been years since I did a game jam and it was exhausting but a lot of fun, especially streaming the whole development. Escape Velokitty is a game about escaping the gravity well of a black hole with broken engines, where you can only change your trajectory by throwing junk out of your ship. Also you have to rescue a cat.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/escape-velokitty
I've just made a bug fix to correct a problem some people were having where gravity was stronger at higher frame rates. Pretty sure it should work properly now. Hope you enjoy the game!

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-loopers-path
This was a hell of a fun jam! I have nothing else to add, I'm pretty exhausted tbh. Hope you had a great time! I'm super proud of my team and the game we have created! give it a try if you want and see you on the next rodeo :)

Just a little bit of optimisation here, some bug fixes there, and boom, BoreOut! is out! A little tired by these 3 days alternating jam and work, but we're so satisfied with the result !
@hoolop, @azsteak and me doing the post mortem

Here's the logo of our game. We are working harder than ever, and we hope so much that you will like our submission!!
We created this game in 48 hours. We will started late but ı think we will do good. This is my first project with my friend and this is demo you will play this.
Keep your little toes covered and your ties tucked in, cause you won't want your momma to see what's let of you after this rat gang tracks you down.
Accepting donations of Good Vibes for my dear programmers @honest-dan and @brainoid who are still at this moment doing their very best.

We made it! Me and my boyfriend just upload our first game. Yesterday I got positive Covid-19 result ;(((, but even this didn't stop us!
Please, play and rate - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/trainloop

If you've got nothing better to do at the minute, you can watch me scramble to finish our game, Pillars of Anguish, during these last 2 hours and change. Live at twitch.tv/Outfrost.

Another weekend of highs and lows, but I managed to submit a game! I never know what the result will be, and here is a perfect example...

Just finished and published my entry to the jam, this is my second game jam and first Ludum Dare.
Super happy with the result, I decided to make a text based game this time to get a bit extra time for writing code.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/a-year
The game is a simulated colony builder of sorts.

Couldn’t find time to have a proper go this time around, but decided to put in a few hours whilst looking after my 3yo. She did all the foley and voice work, and I did the easy stuff(coding). She had a great time shouting and blowing into the headset.

I am cutting it shoooooooort here!

We're on the home stretch now, just fixing up our pages, deploying the game and making a trailer! Looking forward to playing everyone's games.

After burning out over the weekend, we're finished! 2nd ludum dare for this team, forming another cute artsy game by a team from New Zealand!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/hammy-the-hamster

"The bagel the better" a game about beeing a good kid and eating your veggies. Avoid fastfood and jump into a bagel to get to the healthy stuff. But watch out: Fastfood makes you fat and you might get stuck.

Enjoy playing this pizza art!
I got class to go to, so if you all feel like playing my game here it is

Hey!
Hopefully everyone had a great jam. I know I did.
This was my first jam and seeing how fun this is, I'm going join next time too!
My entry, Tower of Time, is a vertical side-scrolling jumping game where you try to stop the madness of corrupted Time Lord.

I think I'll keep developing this one, since some ideas and content that I came up with during planning seem interesting enough. I want to see the full potential of it all.
Please give it a try and leave feedback, it would be appreciated. The response has been positive so far.
See you all later in the future jams and of course during coming days of playing and rating.
You all did great, good job!
Code
This time we decided to deep dive into cards and roguelikes with a game about communications :) I mean that we don’t want to hurt an enemy :) Of course, you can if you want. You even can play like a bully. But if not a big fan of bullying you can demonstrate your communications skills and talk the enemy out of blocking your way :)
At the end of the 3rd day, we've found that we always add a new card after playing one. What a shame but now looks like the game is playing okay with this "feature" :)

I am 13 yrs old. First jam. only kill enemies, btw no pause
After having spent 1.5 days chopping and changing ideas and code, it was a mad rush to get a game completed in the remaining time. I mean I spent an entire day just writing a level editor that no one else will see (maybe one day...).
There was a time when I thought I wouldn't be able to a) come up with a decent idea that's playable b) complete it in time c) won't be able to get any sound in d) create more than 2 levels.
Well screw that. I've managed to get everything in except for d) where I've managed far more than 2 (thanks to the level editor) but still less than I would have liked. Oh well. Can't have everything I suppose.
Anyway, enough of self patting on the back. Please do have a look and let me have your feedback kind sirs and ladies!

Finished just in time! I look forward to playing your games.
I wish you all good luck and I hope to see you around next time.
There is no other community that I love as much as this one!

Is it the best game ever? Is it the most creative game? Is it the most beautiful game?
Definitely no.
But it was me who made it :)
Take a look: https://gumemura.itch.io/tuxedo-watch-out-for-the-rock
The reviews are in, the handling is hard, but give yourself time to aclimate to the controllers in this fast pased redneck boatracing game and you might be able to beat Flopo´s time 25,32. The game is available as WEBGL or windows donwload. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/redneck-raceway

Well, less than two hours left. I blew yesterday on almost nothing. I still have to draw my player and finish up game design! Let's see if I make it!
2 Hours, the final rush !
So far we have working menus

And some Choo Choo loop

Almost finish, let's add some '80 music and explosions !
You are in a room and your goal is to search for an artifact. You are given time to do all this. Controls: "WASD" - movement. "Mouse" - visibility. "E" or "Left button mouse" - use.
https://georgy16.itch.io/artifact

10 mins after uploading the game, my game has received just a rating with 1 in all categories. It's like they didn't even bother playing it. :( Why would someone do that? Anyone else had this experience? Genuinely curious.
I've just submitted my jam entry, these days were full of very intensive work! Me and my crewmate didn't work for too much time because of school and other personal things. I am very happy about the result, expecially because it's my first game jam! Thanks to everyone that gave me advices before the jam, they were very helpful! Finally, make sure to check and rate my game!!! https://verga.itch.io/magic-rush Schermata 2020-10-05 alle 21.41.29.png

Hi everyone,I hope that it is going well with your projects. Here are some of the character sprites in the game :)

💚☯️Hello, this is Sparrow Lynn, and I am pleased to present Interstellar Roundabout. Our team have been gaming together for years on both tabletop and PC--figrita and mountaindog have teamed up before to bring Prison Cat to Ludum Dare 41--and putting our heads together for this felt natural! Our submission is a conglomerate of a few ideas from our first meeting, which came together thematically when we reminded ourselves of the Griswold family in European Vacation.☯️💚
"It's amazing, I cannot get left!"
Interpreting the jam's theme was a fun time in itself:

Game Promo:
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/interstellar-roundabout

Welcome to the future, where thanks to the Interstellar Transit Authority, we can now access space colonies via end-to-end wormhole-equipped thruway! But, as always, the crescendo of technological growth has gotten out of control. Inhabiting the roads of the future is the singular collective consciousness of every existing automobile, each one self-driving and fusion powered. Sophisticated, but not unerring, this neural network consciousness seems to routinely jettison its own vehicles at random. Much time has passed, and untold masses of cars now roam planets and cosmos alike in a drone state, destined to constantly reiterate their RAM cache’s trajectory for time unknowable. As one of the consciousness's programs, your network's error has become a hazard, and the most congested wormhole plazas everywhere are closed and gated. With no possible detours for this route, you must navigate these roundabout plazas and open their gates by driving over pressure switches—all while avoiding collision with their mindless inhabitants!

It's a privilege to take part in this awesome community! We look forward to playing your games tonight!

It was great fun building the 3D platformer The Hanging Tree for this LDJAM ; I hope you all got the fun you deserved. You should knot rot in hell forever, swing yourself to the exit

https://narom42.itch.io/the-hanging-tree

In making Last Train Home we developed a system for random environmental details which randomly selected an advert, poster, or sticker from a collection onto a preassigned location, allowing for the environment to look a little different each time!
This had the added benefit of not only ensuring that every playthrough gives the player something new to look at - which works well since the game is only a short, high-score based game, but also effectively managing team-member downtime. With team-members being able to contribute to the library of environmental detail assets when they weren’t busy with anything else!

Now it's time to enjoy other's entries. If you worry about visibility, please do not hesitate to put your page link in comments!!
