Ludum Dare 37 December 9–12, 2016

Gearing up for LD 37

Alright, the our local dev group is gathered up and waiting for the theme. I feel my last LD game, No Man Has Gone Before, went really well. I actually hit all of my goals for the weekend on that one! Here’s to getting a solid game together this time!

Yas, I will give it a go.

Once again. I don’t know what the theme is yet, but it should be announced any time now. Godspeed everyone!

Ready to rock

Myself and Shade are teaming up for the gamejam. Super stoked and can’t wait to get started!

Tentative toolset includes:
Lua – Love2D

BFXR/ChipTone for music/sounds

MSPaint/whatever Shade uses these days.

Let’s GO!

Good luck to ALL !

Im In!

Lets do it!

I’m in.

Been a while since last attempt; will try to K.I.S.S. and actually complete something fun.

Planned tools this go-round:

Platform: HTML5, using Typescript and some base code I prepared earlier this month

Editor: Visual Studo Code. Might use Tiled if things go in direction where I need a level editor.

Graphics: GIMP

Audio: Weak point of mine. If I get to that stage, probably SFXR or something.

I’m In!

Really excited to do another LD.

Using Unity, Visual Studio, Bosca Ceoil, Sfxr and Paint.net.

Good luck everyone!

My Eleventh LD!

In and ready!

The dark and cold uk weather at 2am right now will not discourage me from enjoying yet another LDJAM!

see you all on the other side of the announce!

Hi !

I won’t have much time this week-end but I’ll take part in this LD anyway.
I’m going to use Unity as my engine and editor and Blender and Photoshop for graphics ! :)

While I’m not making a Jam game this time…

I am using the Jam as a good excuse to put in a solid weekend worth of work on a current project that I’ve been prototyping.

Platform
Virtual Reality – HTC Vive
PC only

Toolchain
Unity
Visual Studio
C# / XML

Funny enough

If I were making a jam game for LD #37, the fact that you need a whole one room for VR would make it eligible for the theme by default.  A lot of small VR experiences do just that regardless.  Of course, this game is not limited to just one single room.

One room

This is the first step, the first struggle: ONE ROOM

What the heck should I do? well… first of all, Lets start with the first step of the development

TO DO
_____

-Drink another coffee
-Use pen and paper
-Design the game

____

I’ll post here something when I decide what to do

PEACE!

I’m In

I’m doing Ludum Dare yet again buy this time I am not using unity because I am so absolutely tired of it ruining my games, One room is a pretty cool theme.

IDE: Eclipse

Language: Java

Graphics: LWJGL (OpenGL)

Other Libraries: JOML, PNGDecoder

Art: Aseprite, Paint.net

Music: I dont even know, maybe sfxr/bfxr and what ever else I can pull together

Timelapse: Chronolapse

Good Luck!

Ludum Dare 37

Today marks the start of Ludum dare 37 and this is my first time to participate and to top it all off, i’m going solo this year. This challenge is something to prove to myself that I have to make games and enjoy making. this years theme is One Room. so far, I got tons of ideas that will maximize one room. I will begin my creative process by doing a simple scenario wherein you have to maximize the space you have
