I’m in
Been a while since I have done one of these, and it seems like a good time to learn GoDot….
Been a while since I have done one of these, and it seems like a good time to learn GoDot….
The universe has conspired to give me almost the entirety of the comp and jam off, so I think I’m going to give this one a go. I’ll see you all in a world in the sky (hopefully).

might be taking part this time, if i like the theme, and also if i find the time.
Not really sure what tools i’ll be using, it’ll probably be python/pygame, or js/phaser.

Looking forward to it! I’ve got all the ingredients for a big pot of soup and I feel more confident in my coding than I ever have!
I’ll be using Photoshop, Famitracker (maybe some Milkytracker), and Superpowers. The soup I will be making is a delicious Tom Kha Gai.
Good luck everyone!
It’s time to go again, this time it’s my sixth Ludum Dare! I’ll be working with the same tools as usual:
Language: Java
IDE: Eclipse
Engine/Framework: GoudaGamengine (custom one)
Graphics: Paint.NET
Audio: Not sure, but probably sfxr
I didn’t get the timelapse to work properly last time, but I’ll try again using Chronolapse! Let’s jam!
Let’s do this
This is my game log, aka GLOG because it sounds funny!
I’m looking forward to this ludum dare, I’ve done one a few years ago and it went well, looks like I’m going solo at the moment which is fine as a test of what I’ve learnt over the years.
I’ll be using unreal engine and potential 3D art, or full UMG gameplay :p we shall see.
Good luck everyone!

And I’m in… seems like 4th time now, as always – with new team, different ideas, a lot of boobs, asses, filth and gore (I’ll try to keep it kids-friendly) 😀 Can’t wait to see the theme, a lot of interesting ones this time
After two LD compos gone horribly wrong, I am in once again.
This time, however, I am not alone: My mate nerdy and I are going to try our best to create a game and hopefully learn a lot on the go. That is what we are participating for, to learn more about game making and techniques.
We are going to use:
My setup:

Prepared for anything and everything
Nerdy’s setup:

A good setup for even better work
Nerdy is going to stream part of the development process from his point of view; you can watch the game making at nerdyhype’s twitch channel or follow his status updates at his twitter.
I wish I could also stream my perspective, but unfortunately my internet really isn’t well-suited for live streaming.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing all the amazing games this ld is going to produce and wish everyone good luck!
Third time participating on Ludum Dare compo. I will use the following:
So let’s hope for a good theme and many creative and fun games to play.
Ludum Dare is upon us again and we will need to spend as little time away from our computers as possible to meet the deadline(s)! Don’t forget to go out and stock up on some hassle-free foodstuffs that you can pop in the microwave or the oven, drinks, etc. Some choice selections:

Foodstuffs
Fluids
Stay fed and hydrated, and good luck!
Where, how can I register for the Competition?

Wow I can’t wait till theme announcement on Friday at 6:00pm here. This is gonna be so much fun. I am looking forwards to trying new things. I want to approach the design phase with the most simple Idea I can and add a story as simple as I can make it. Just I have never tried this and all my Ludum dare gameshave been overcomplicated. So i’m looking to make this a little easier on myself.
I will be using these tools:
Good luck to all, and have fun.
Didn’t think I would make it but turns out I’ll have a little time for this so I’m in again. Third time. Last time I actually got something out so high hopes this time. I’ll be in the Jam and I already have an idea which I will try shoehorn the theme into – probably not great but that’s my plan!
Tools
Visual Studio 2015
Xamarin Studio
Xamarin
Stock photos
Noun project
For the third time, I’ll join! Will be using
JavaScript with HTML5 Canvas
Procedurally generated graphics OR Photoshop (prefer the former)
Bfxr for sounds (probably)Guitar or piano + Mic for music
Cats (for cuteness)
Hoping for a nice theme. Like, maybe: “A world in the skies”. We’ll see.
Have a good LD everyone.
My first game jame yet, using ue4, 3ds max, and fl studios.
Good luck to everyone else.
Ninth time I compete and this time around I’m hosting a Ludum Dare party at the Islandworks’ offices. I’ll be teaming up with Ruben from Gamestad (A global but also city orientated community for gamers and game developers engaging with eachother) and with us will be @dickpoelen doing his own thing, the creator of Paca Pong 😉 It will be the first time I’m doing the Jam and the first time I’m hosting an Ludum Dare related event. It’s all so exciting!
For the upcoming series and Ludum Dare I prepared my normal toolset including:

also: flash cs3 (i think?)
music: I dunno…
and maybe : eat mochi
I’m gonna be doing caricatures when the theme is announced so I wont get started until about 10p cali time (aprox. 4 hours after theme announcement). I’m gonna try and sketch out ideas in my mind based on the options in the final round of voting not in hopes of getting a head start, so to speak, but, just as an exercise for myself…
I might miss the beginning a little due to work, but I’ll be jamming for the first time! Super excited.
Engine: Unity + C#, Possibly Clickteam Fusion 2.5 for prototyping
Graphics: Inkscape
Sound: BFXR (I think)
Music: Where ever I can find it
First time for our team. Depending on the topic we’ll probably be using Unity 5. We are going to try to livestream as much as we can here: http://www.twitch.tv/rovingsquid .
