In my opinion, a good theme: - Can be used for lots of types of games, not just a couple - Doesn't encourage bad games (so not suggestions like, "Frustrating to control") - you'll be playing 20 of these after the jam! - Hasn't been seen in the last few years, so check previous themes

I'm currently learning pygame (very new to it) and I might be able to participate in LD43. But I haven't done anything like this and highly highly doubt that I can do anything within the time frame (specially Compo where you gotta make everything yourself and in less time). Anyway these are my suggestions:
This LudumDare is falling right on my birthday, so it's a perfect excuse to spend all weakened with some friends making a game. Going to be using Unity (probably), with Sublime3 as the text editor. My friend will be doing most of the graphics, and not quite sure what he uses, but I'm assuming paint.net (The only real painting program). Last time my game wasn't polished and was submitted a minute late, so this time around I hope to get some more accomplished with a team. Good luck everyone!

Hey folks, how are you?
Some of you may remember me from Dunk Em Up, or even some past few games that I've made whenever I was joining LudumDare.
Today, there are two special things I'd like to talk about. First one is: I am going to participate this time :smile: I got extremely sad last time because I was very busy developing a game and got no time to make more games for Ludum Dare haha! But this time I am sure that we are going to have some good time, especially because December is always a very meaningful month, and jamming at such a great time is going to feel nice.
The other thing I have to say is that I am working on a project! Dungeon Drafters is a Dungeon Crawler and Card Game where you loot, trade, deck-build and uncover the secrets of challenging dungeons, filled with giant slimes, golden chests, and long-forgotten magic cards!

I couldn't resist. I just had to make a Ludum Dare 43 wallpaper. It should be 4:3 compatible as well. (Don't judge me, I use it as a second monitor. 😛) I also added in a bunch of tips to help you keep on the right track, subliminally. I dunno, it might work. 😁
Right, better get back to anxious anticipation for 15 more days.
EDIT: After using this wallpaper myself for a little over a day, the brightness of the text started to offend me, so I made a dark variation.
