I’m in for the Jam
I’m in for the Jam. I’m going to try doing this with a friend this time, goomplez on ldjam.com. We’re going to try using the Duality game engine and make… something. Looking forward to this weekend!

Here I am sitting waiting for the timer to end to start programming. Ready for the JAM!
Here is what I will be using with gameln and bcarbon:

-Paint.net for sprites
-Mellow yellow for the night
Gl guys!

First time here!!!
We are a gamedev student comunity from Costa Rica
Good luck, have fun!
This will mark my first LD in about 3 years! It’s been a while but I’m excited to participate again. I usually have some kind of plan before each LD as to what type of game I’ll make, but this time around I think I’m just gonna wing it. I’ll likely just be using Unity, paint.net, sfxr for sounds, and abundant music for music (it’s a cool site, check it out if you want to generate some music.) Good luck to everyone else, and most importantly I hope you all have fun!
This is going to be my first Ludum Dare. Pretty excited!
I’m going to be coding in Java using Eclipse, using Paint.net for artwork and sfxr for sounds.
For the last few ludum dares I said I was in but never actually submitted, this time I’m going to try my best to make a game.
Tools:
Good luck everyone, and remember to have fun!
I’m in once again. This time I’ll be using:
C# + MonoGame
Visual Studio
Paint.NET
I’ll be submitting under the name “tildewave” on the new site
This will be my 7th Ludum Dare! 😀
As I always do, I will be using:
And, of course, I will be using my own custom game engine for my game engine.
However, my game engine is not doing very good right now!
Essentially, I wanted to make my game engine more component-based, as I’ve found the whole component-based model to be a pretty cool idea. However, there was so much stuff I wanted to fix that I decided I might as well rewrite the whole thing from the ground up. (This is a bad habit of mine).
The past week, however, I have been studying for finals (and I have a really busy school schedule anyways) so I haven’t had a lot of time to work on it, and because I am a procrastinator, I only really started working on it last weekend. 😛
So! My game will probably not have anything like physics in it this time.
Last time I did this, somebody had made a top-down medieval RPG. This seems like something I might want to do – and there’s a whole bunch of themes that work with it! Underground, Control the environment not the characters, “Wait, are we the bad guys?”, Running out of space, Save yourself, not the world, the list goes on and on…
I have this bad habit of voting for a theme that I don’t really like, but vote for anyways. This happened last time with Ancient Technology, and it won – so this time I actively avoided doing that. The theme that stuck out to me as “I should vote for this even though I don’t like it” is “Control the environment not the characters” so that’s my prediction for which theme is going to win. If I’m right, well, at least it’s not actually a bad theme – I just don’t really like it because it sounds hard to do, and my game engine, is, again, not very great. 😛
Finally, because I know I will probably need it as well, good luck to everybody! 😀
It feels like it’s been a while and I’m fairly out of practice… so what better to do than pick a new framework!?
I’m planning to use a C++ game engine called Urho3D this time around. I’ve been playing with it for a little while and it looks promising, so let’s hope it allows me to make a good game.
Tools I’ll most definitely use:
Tools I might use given the opportunity:
Good luck to everyone! I look forward to seeing all sorts of cool games.
We are a team of two and this will be our first time competing together as Gumboot!
Art – @comfyfish
Code – @niclupfer (Rosencatz on ludumdare)
We will probably use:
Good luck and remember to have fun!
So this is my first ludum dare. I heard about it through the game design club at my school. I’ve only recently tried my hand at making a game, using Python/Pygame to do it(should probably learn c++). This has been a bit of a struggle, but maybe through doing this challenge it could motivate me to learn some more and get something done.
hope i finish my game this time
Good luck everyone, have fun!
Never tried this before, will be using Unity, Bfxr, and Photoshop, glhf everyone!
Hi there!
First time here, I’m going to participate with my pal using Unity 3D as platform!
Regards!
Greetings!
This is my second ludum dare, my first was LD35. Hoping to have a great weekend to develop my game and play others as well.
Good luck!
I haven’t done Ludum Dare for a few years, but I’m in this one.
Hey guys, this is our first Ludum Dare as team Kawaii Neko.
We did participate in other editions on other groups but now we are proud to do as a team ^^
We’ll be using Unity with Fungus and Photoshop for 2D sprites.
Good luck everyone!
Getting closer!
